This was the first roller coaster I rode at 22 since I was probably 10, but I was like “what the hell, I’m in California, I’m going to do something brave.” The countdown was my absolute favorite, even hearing it now, thousands of miles away makes me smile.
I love this ride a lot, always go on it. I’ll help some of the first comers if your curious. The first drop is probably the scariest if you ask me. If you want less airtime I recommend to sit in the front. The second drop is less scary. It looks scary when looking at it, but in reality it’s not bad at all. (Since it turns a bit which reduces air time). The third drop looks scary at the video but it’s the least scariest drop (you literally don’t feel any air time) and if your scared of the loop, it’s not scary at all. You don’t get dizzy during the loop (on the loop I recommend to put your head back on the seat). And if your scared of the launch, it is absolutely fun. It’s not scary at all. You only get a little bit of the feeling on your stomach (if you don’t want that just stiff your body a bit). Otherwise I’m pretty sure you will enjoy this ride! It’s so much fun! IF a you want loads of air time, ask for the back seat and lift your legs and arms. Trust me. It will give you LOADS of air time. Hopefully this advice helped!
My stomach is super sensitive to the drops and I always get that feeling. It’s so hard to explain what it is but that last bit where you it’s just small ups and downs is almost as bad as the first drop for me lol. When I went on guardians I was the only one not having fun. Everyone else got their hands up making a funny face or posing and there I am clinging to my boyfriends arm, barely daring to open my eyes, and I was shaking so much! I had to catch my breath after every drop. I think I would’ve fainted if I wasn’t clinging on to something for dear life, god I wonder if I’d cling on to a stranger😂 sometimes I think I’m the only one like this haha

@@jam3s154 don’t be nervous, this ride is so fun. The funnest one in our opinion, we rode is 3 times that day! The heights don’t last long, it’s not one of those linger at the tallest spot rides, and the incredibles touch is endearing, the story is cute and fun. You’ll have fun, so don’t let your nerves get you. The Ferris wheel is taller and made me way more nervous.
For those who haven't gone on this, note that where you sit makes a HUGE difference. If you want less time suspended off the seat, make sure to sit in the front, as you feel a lot more connected to the ride when you're at the drops. If you'd like the air time, the back has lots of it, just keep in mind that the loop has strong downward winds.

I was also someone incredibly terrified of this coaster and I’m so glad I experienced it! I went this past 3/16, my bf loves rollercoasters while I get panic attacks when riding them. As it was his birthday, I decided to do my best and ride the coaster. When I saw how big it was and how fast it went, I was about to pass out. Once I was inside, the ride starts incredibly fast so I had no chance to even think about being scared. It was such a smooth experience, I found myself laughing, screaming with excitement and completely forgetting my terror. This was an amazing rollercoaster, don’t miss the chance of experiencing it!
As someone who gets/feels exactly the way you do on a roller coaster is there any feeling of butterflies in your stomach? THAT’S what gets to me and makes me have panic attacks on the rides and has me panic and cry
@@susangonzalez911I used to be terrified of coasters and the stomach drop feeling, and I’m not anymore and now love coasters! Apparently the stomach drop feeling is mostly psychological. Not everyone gets it. If you warm up and ride a couple of easy coasters in a row, when you get to big coasters like this, your body’s used to it and your anxiety’s down… AKA no stomach feeling! It helps to sit in the front, put your arms up, and scream. And instead of perceiving it as being dropped, see it as you’re driving the coaster. That analogy helps me avoid the butterflies :)
I am the exact same. I have really bad roller coaster anxiety And I also have panic attacks when I get on rides like this. My boyfriend is a rollercoaster maniac though. We’re going to Disney Friday and I think I’m gonna finally suck it up and try going on it with him
Yeah but after going to both on the same day for the first time plus a fear of heights, I was not going back immediately lol. Gonna be going back soon and I’m honestly excited to get back on the Incredicoaster again.
It’s just themed so badly. California Screamin’ felt more… I don’t know, appropriate? Then they slapped some red paint on it and made the tunnels darker. Not my favorite but the coaster itself is very fun.

I went to Disneyland yesterday and this was the first real rollercoaster I ever went on. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t that bad, and my friends assured me that if I could handle this I could handle anything in the park. Then we went on the Guardians drop and I was screaming the whole time lmao. I was also screaming the incedicoaster, but honestly screaming your lungs out absolutely helps lol.
I was nervous about this one, but sucked it up and went for it and loved it! Absolutely hate Guardians and will never do it again. Toooo many drops- felt like i was gonna blackout. No idea why people find that fun.
Incredicoaster and Guardians drop are my two favorite rides. Six Flags has lots of roller coaster rides if you want that adrenaline rush. My husband made me go through pretty much all the six flags rollercoasters, I thought I was going to d/e! 😅
Interesting how all of those tubes are put there whenever the track exceeds the height of the large wall, to try to stop the screams leaving the park. Even the circular sign next to the loop!
I was scared to go on this ride at first when I went 5 days ago. Later, I went on it, and it was actually pretty fun! Consider going on this coaster, y’all!
@@ave3468 here is some tips, when the drops hit scream it helps, and when the loopy loopy comes grab on real tight and close your eyes and it helps to grab on to the handle bar

This is for anyone who is terrified of this ride, This ride is sooo much fun! Don’t worry. I had a very similar experience. I reallly didn’t want to go on it the first time, so I didn’t. The second time we went to California Adventure, I somehow convinced myself to go on it with my brother, and it was sooo much fun. I was literally screaming with excitement after the ride was over! :) To be honest, seeing the people on this ride getting launched on it (for me) seemed way scarier than actually being launched on the ride from my POV. Don’t get me wrong, the beginning is pretty fast and intense a little bit, but it’s over before you know it, and the loop is the BEST part of the ride. Also, if you’re scared of the feeling where it feels like you are going to fall out, the restraints are really secure and it actually feels really cool when you are going down the big drop. Overall, you will 100% not regret going on this ride! ❤😊

Here are some tips for going on this ride! 1. Keep your head up against the head board to avoid hitting it aggressively! 2. Try your best to keep your feet stable against the floor. 3. Keep your eyes open!! My mom always told me this ride was less scary than space mountain and the guardians of the galaxy ride COMBINED!! Trust me, none of them are as scary as they seem. 4. Scream if you need to. It helps me release all my anxiety when going upside down. Speaking of which.. 5. Going upside down for me is the best and most fun part! It feels like you are flying, and it really only lasts a few seconds. 6. (Not really a tip, just a little hidden thing) on the first tunnel, before you go down the hill, Mr. Incredible yells, “Jack-Jack! Yum-yums!!” And you might hear a fizzing noise, which is the smell of fresh baked cookies being made, so look out for that. 7. I don’t know exactly where or when it is, towards the end for sure. But just in case, keeps your eyes open and have on a smiling face the whole time!
@@Abnbm there is a loop, it's completely bearable, the first drop could be scary but you will be used to it on the second, it goes REALLY fast but it's one of the best rides in Disney in my opinion, maybe this helped 😀
I wish I knew about this before riding it LMAO. I always watch videos for this ride and think “oh it’s not that bad. I can do this.” I was WRONG 💀 Those drops had me screaming screams I didn’t know I could scream 😭😭

The first drop is definitely the scariest. I did this yesterday for the very first time after being so scared of it for so long, but I finally did it, it was great, and I did it again, and 4 times today so far, making it 6 times in total. Amazing ride!
This looks like a fun coaster and covers a lot of ground! I like when the ride is spread out over a few acres. If I ever get to Disney in California I'll be on it for sure!
Trust me, once you ride this, it will become one of your favorite roller coasters. Also the audio in person is much easier to hear on the ride than on video
I was so terrified of roller coasters as a kid but went to California Adventure when I was in high school and going on this ride broke me of that and made me a coaster fan for life.
I rode this ride ONE time. As someone who has an intense fear of rollercoasters this was a nightmare, especially when your going up the hill to the drop. But, I mean I did survive it, probably would not go on it again but at least proud that I tried it
I went on this yesterday 1/5/24 with my little cousin (the younger one chickened out) my dad and a few of my relatives. Easily the 2nd best ride in the park. I really miss all of them and I can’t wait to see them again. Had a perfect time in both Disneyland and California adventures. See y’all soon guys!
Things you should know before riding the incredicoaster: 1. The first drop is more scarier than the the other two drops, it’s because the g-force smacks right against you after you go full speed in the beginning drop. 2. The loop isn’t so scary, trust me. It will only feel like you’re being pushed against you seat mid-loop. 3. You will love it!
I have really bad anxiety and I’m generally adverse to bigger rides like this but man I wanna try it!! Getting to hear the fabulous soundtrack during the ride probably makes for such an incredible sensory experience!! Like overstimulating in a good way!!
First time I went on this ride a few years ago the adrenaline rush is insane and it’s so much fun worth the 3 hour wait and the jack-jack num-nums are so freakin good
I remember seeing this coaster when me and my family went to California Adventure. I was really scared to go on it since i didnt know what to expect, and i wasnt really a big fan of coasters back then and hadnt gone on really big ones like this one. Finally, me and my mom went on it together and it was literally the funnest thing ever! It was also my first coaster with a loop and the loop wasnt actually as bad as i thought it was going to be! I ended up going on this 4 times throughout the day! Now everytime i come to California adventure, i always make sure to go on this ride atleast 4 or 3 times!
Traveled all the way from Florida! This ride was so much fun, and this is coming from someone who doesn’t even like roller coasters 😂. The loop was the best part!
Comment is appreciated. It’s a great job, but also very challenging. These videos often have to be reshot because of varying factors, which means waiting in line over and over again just to get the perfect shot. This video alone had to be reshot 5 times before we got it right. -Scott
I know DCA sometimes gets flack for having too many extreme thrill rides and not enough child friendly especially when it first opened, but im so happy they never got rid of this ride. If you ask me its one of the best beginner "Big" (aka coaster with an inversion) rollercoasters for brave kids. It was my first inversion when I was like 8 or 9 and since then I became a roller coaster enthusiast I will go on basically anything now!
This ride guardians of the galaxy and radiator Springs racers are my most favorite top rides at California adventure I swear I need to ride these three before I go home
The Incredicoaster is an amazing ride. I had the chance to ride it this past Sunday on 1/1/23 and let me tell you, this is an experience you do not want to miss. The launch is surprisingly forceful, but it’s not that forceful to make it look scary. Trust me, it is an amazing launch. The first drop surprisingly gave me some floater airtime. The second drop is also amazing. A lot of floater airtime as well. I also got the chance to ride in the front and back. For the vertical loop, I recommend sitting in the front. It is much less rough and will give you a better experience. The third drop is not scary at all. Also on those dips on the turns after the third drop, you do feel some G’s. And those airtime hills near the end of the ride give nice floater airtime. Overall, this is an amazing ride experience and it will not disappoint.

Also, what they do to make you feel like you’re going faster is place fans around the layout of the ride while you are in the dark. Incredicoaster has a top speed of 55 mph, which is 20 mph faster than Space Mountain.
The first time I ever rode this I was on the second row. I was nervous to get on but did. As Im on I suddenly see the loops coming. My heart dropped! There was no way out LOL. I ride it whenever I can now . Such a fun ride!
I had to be persuaded for about 5 hours before going on this. I was so scared I was even crying in the line. When we got in the seats I was SHAKING, and I held onto those arm bars so tightly I was sore after 😅 I also had my eyes closed 99% of the time because I was focusingng so much on how I felt. BUT BUT BUT, that made it so much easier to bear, and I will admit it was an absolute blast. If I could have I would have gotten on again the second time but have my eyes open, now knowing what I would feel. 8/10 for the ride
FOR SCARED FIRST TIME RIDERS!! as someone who used to be absolutely terrified of roller coasters, i just said fuck it and went on and i felt the happiest person ever after lol. i’m not great with drops and hate that stomach feeling but it lasts probably one second during the drops and i was laughing so much after them! the worst drop is probably the first just because it’s right after the launch so you’re going into it at a speed so i find it to be more intense than the second! but after you get through that first drop you literally feel so euphoric if you just have the mindset that you’re going to have fun!! big tip is just to turn your nervousness into excitement by smiling and laughing before it starts!! i found that it helped me a lot the first time riding it because you’re not setting yourself up already to not like it. (i rode it 6 times that one day bc it gives u sm adrenaline lol i was so happy) screaming before and during drops also helps! and believe everyone who says that u don’t feel yourself going upside down on the loop, just a bit of pressure after going back down but nothing extreme and it goes away fast after. i do recommend sitting at the front or better yet the middle on your first time as you do feel the drops more at the back - you could just tell the workers there. i’m in loveee w this ride and you won’t regret riding it!
I am the biggest coaster wuss and I rode the incredicoaster recently. The incredicoaster is surprisingly slow for most of the ride. There are three drops but they are tamer than the splash mountain drop IMO. So, if you can ride space mountain and splash mountain, you can do this ride. It’s really fun and not scary at all!
just rode this today and it was amazing!! i think it seems to look a lot more intimidating than it really is. the drops are very fun and it's extremely fast, the loop (for anyone who hasnt gone on a rollercoaster with one yet) isnt as bad as you might think and it actually pushes you down into your seat. im gonna ride it again later since its honestly amazing. would recommend even if you're scared, its a terrific ride
It took me years to finally gain the courage to go on this ride. Now I can’t believe I waited so long and I’ve been missing out this whole time. Like others, have said: The launch is really fun! The first drop you do feel the most air time and I was surprised by that. The second drop you don’t feel much air time even though it looks like it. The loop feels like you’re going straight the whole time with a brief moment of realizing you’re upside down by your seat pressure but ultimately feels like you’re just going straight the whole time. The third drop you barely feel and then you just cruise the rest of the way back. I’m still scared of rollercoasters and but this one I won’t miss when I go to CA Adventure. Side note: Overall, Space Mountain feels faster to me than the Incredicoaster even though I know it’s not. Maybe the darkness makes it feel faster than it is.
I love the Dash startup at the beginning. Hearing the footsteps rapidly approaching to create fear that "Oh god, a speedster is going to make this cart go 50mph in mere seconds and I don't have time to prepare for that"
For anyone who is terrified of this ride this is for you, I recently went on this ride for the first time terrified i don’t do big roller coasters like this but when I tell you this ride is not as bad as it looks at you don’t feel that odd butterfly stomach feeling as long as your not in the back rows and even if you are you hardly feel it. Also if your afraid for the launch, how ever fast you think it’s gonna go it definitely goes slower, I feel the launch on the mummy ride at universal studios Hollywood more than the launch on this ride. My mom who can’t do any type of small roller coasters LOVED this ride and we got on it about 6 more times in a row after the first. Now if your scared for the loop don’t it was my first time going on ride with a loop and that was probably my favorite part of the ride, you do feel the g forces pushing on you but it’s not too bad. For the second drop I will say you will definitely feel like you’re falling for a while but overall it’s a very enjoyable ride even for those who don’t like rides like these. After riding this I feel like I can ride the hulk ride at universal studios Orlando.
I got to ride this for the first time last week. SO. MUCH. FUN. We were there for three days and we rode it multiple times each day. It’s also much faster than what the video shows. But it’s such a good ride.
When I went on this coaster a 2nd time, World of Color-Season of Light just started so while it was fun, I saw the show, and this just made the ride ten times better!
I loved this ride! For people who wanna go on but are afraid of the loop it really doesn’t feel like anything! It goes by pretty fast anyway but don’t eat food before going on this ride
At first I was very scared to go on this ride, but it’s not as bad as it looks!! The scariest coaster I’ve ever gone on before this was the mummy ride at universal, so this was my first real roller coaster. The beginning is fast but that’s the only part where it feels kinda bad, but once you get past that part the rest doesn’t feel intense! The loop isn’t bad either, when I went on you can feel air pressure holding you down, so there’s nothing to worry about. If you’ve never gotten on a roller coaster before, go on this one!! It’s very mild and a great first roller coaster, it’s my favorite one so far and really fun to go on

I rode this the first time in 2002, loved everything about it It was ~ my 6th rollercoaster ever. Rode it again in ~2013. One of the most uncomfortable and painful rides I ever had on a rollercoaster; the launch felt slow, and there was almost no air time and the meandering was boring. hated it, as of 2 days ago it was in my top 3 worst coasters out of ~60. Rode it again yesterday (9-13-22). I was way too harsh on this coaster last time and the remodel is amazing. The whole experience was wonderful. It's one of my favorite rides now. I think I must've just got a bad train last time and the memory got exaggerated to an extreme over a decade.
The second time around, in 2013 were you back row? Ive heard its meant to be the most intense out of all the rows, and also launches arent as powerful at the back, but the drops are more intense. You drop at a faster rate too which might affect your air time.

For alll the new comers that are going to ride this but are scared. i went on this when i was about 10. I had so much fun and the drops are a little scary but either than that the ride is so much fun. i recommend going on it when its dark so all the lights are lit up. if you decide to go on this i think you'll have alot of fun.
Personally since its was like my first time in Disneyland this is my personal favorite ride and I just rode it twice If you want to ride this just do it and it will be the most worth it ever

I've always been terrified of rollercoasters since I was a kid. My girlfriend and I went to Disneyland and California Adventure recently, and while I quite enjoy the smaller stuff, like Space Mountain and Big Thunder, I was 'Incredibly' (see what I did there?) apprehensive about going on Incredicoaster. It's crazy what a few alcoholic beverages and a little bit of egging from your S/O will make you do. All in all, we ended up going on it twice, and I actually really enjoyed it! I still don't think I'm cut out for the more extreme stuff, like Mantu, Goliath, or Kingda Ka. For now, I'm content with conquering the Incredicoaster! As a guy who still fears rollercoasters, I definitely recommend giving it a shot. I certainly can't wait to go again in the future! Still a HARD PASS on the Tower of Terror/Guardians of the Galaxy elevator drop though.
I sat around waiting for an hour and was psyching myself out. I grabbed two drinks and chugged them down and was still scared. I decided to face my extreme fears and I mean extreme fears and ride this thing. I got on it and loved it so much. Don't worry about any dips they are so fast just tighten your stomach and you won't feel anything. I went on again right after. Don't chicken out it's awesome. I'm the biggest scardy cat.
Honestly, hearing all the screams at the "5,4,3,2,1, go!" made me want to go on this. Such an amazing ride.

And if you’re scared, sit in row 6, you get less wind in your face, and airtime only at the Airtime hills

It helps to sit in the front, put your arms up, and scream. And instead of perceiving it as being dropped, see it as you’re driving the coaster. That analogy helps me avoid the butterflies :)
I am the exact same. I have really bad roller coaster anxiety And I also have panic attacks when I get on rides like this. My boyfriend is a rollercoaster maniac though. We’re going to Disney Friday and I think I’m gonna finally suck it up and try going on it with him

It’s just themed so badly. California Screamin’ felt more… I don’t know, appropriate? Then they slapped some red paint on it and made the tunnels darker. Not my favorite but the coaster itself is very fun.

I went to Disneyland yesterday and this was the first real rollercoaster I ever went on. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t that bad, and my friends assured me that if I could handle this I could handle anything in the park. Then we went on the Guardians drop and I was screaming the whole time lmao. I was also screaming the incedicoaster, but honestly screaming your lungs out absolutely helps lol.

Incredicoaster and Guardians drop are my two favorite rides. Six Flags has lots of roller coaster rides if you want that adrenaline rush. My husband made me go through pretty much all the six flags rollercoasters, I thought I was going to d/e! 😅
As someone who went on GhostRider as their first REAL coaster, I can confirm that screaming your lungs out helps!
Interesting how all of those tubes are put there whenever the track exceeds the height of the large wall, to try to stop the screams leaving the park. Even the circular sign next to the loop!
I knew Maliboomer had covers for that reason but didn’t know the coaster used the tubes for the same thing, interesting!

This ride is sooo much fun! Don’t worry. I had a very similar experience. I reallly didn’t want to go on it the first time, so I didn’t. The second time we went to California Adventure, I somehow convinced myself to go on it with my brother, and it was sooo much fun. I was literally screaming with excitement after the ride was over! :) To be honest, seeing the people on this ride getting launched on it (for me) seemed way scarier than actually being launched on the ride from my POV. Don’t get me wrong, the beginning is pretty fast and intense a little bit, but it’s over before you know it, and the loop is the BEST part of the ride. Also, if you’re scared of the feeling where it feels like you are going to fall out, the restraints are really secure and it actually feels really cool when you are going down the big drop. Overall, you will 100% not regret going on this ride! ❤😊

This coaster is just awesome. You feel it right from the start and it never lets up. Incredible speed, and very smooth, and it’s a long ride too!

Here are some tips for going on this ride!
1. Keep your head up against the head board to avoid hitting it aggressively!
2. Try your best to keep your feet stable against the floor.
3. Keep your eyes open!! My mom always told me this ride was less scary than space mountain and the guardians of the galaxy ride COMBINED!! Trust me, none of them are as scary as they seem.
4. Scream if you need to. It helps me release all my anxiety when going upside down. Speaking of which..
5. Going upside down for me is the best and most fun part! It feels like you are flying, and it really only lasts a few seconds.
6. (Not really a tip, just a little hidden thing) on the first tunnel, before you go down the hill, Mr. Incredible yells, “Jack-Jack! Yum-yums!!” And you might hear a fizzing noise, which is the smell of fresh baked cookies being made, so look out for that.
7. I don’t know exactly where or when it is, towards the end for sure. But just in case, keeps your eyes open and have on a smiling face the whole time!

The first drop is definitely the scariest. I did this yesterday for the very first time after being so scared of it for so long, but I finally did it, it was great, and I did it again, and 4 times today so far, making it 6 times in total. Amazing ride!
This looks like a fun coaster and covers a lot of ground! I like when the ride is spread out over a few acres. If I ever get to Disney in California I'll be on it for sure!

I went to Disneyland for the first time 4/11-12/22 and this was one of my favorite rides there. Honestly, the whole place is so much better than WDW

I rode this ride ONE time. As someone who has an intense fear of rollercoasters this was a nightmare, especially when your going up the hill to the drop. But, I mean I did survive it, probably would not go on it again but at least proud that I tried it
I went on this yesterday 1/5/24 with my little cousin (the younger one chickened out) my dad and a few of my relatives. Easily the 2nd best ride in the park. I really miss all of them and I can’t wait to see them again. Had a perfect time in both Disneyland and California adventures. See y’all soon guys!

Things you should know before riding the incredicoaster:
1. The first drop is more scarier than the the other two drops, it’s because the g-force smacks right against you after you go full speed in the beginning drop.
2. The loop isn’t so scary, trust me. It will only feel like you’re being pushed against you seat mid-loop.
3. You will love it!

I remember seeing this coaster when me and my family went to California Adventure. I was really scared to go on it since i didnt know what to expect, and i wasnt really a big fan of coasters back then and hadnt gone on really big ones like this one. Finally, me and my mom went on it together and it was literally the funnest thing ever! It was also my first coaster with a loop and the loop wasnt actually as bad as i thought it was going to be! I ended up going on this 4 times throughout the day! Now everytime i come to California adventure, i always make sure to go on this ride atleast 4 or 3 times!
Traveled all the way from Florida! This ride was so much fun, and this is coming from someone who doesn’t even like roller coasters 😂. The loop was the best part!

I know DCA sometimes gets flack for having too many extreme thrill rides and not enough child friendly especially when it first opened, but im so happy they never got rid of this ride. If you ask me its one of the best beginner "Big" (aka coaster with an inversion) rollercoasters for brave kids. It was my first inversion when I was like 8 or 9 and since then I became a roller coaster enthusiast I will go on basically anything now!

I rode it in 2013 as California screamin. Nice ride. This is one of the longest roller coaster track in the world. I think around 6,500 feet long.
The Incredicoaster is an amazing ride. I had the chance to ride it this past Sunday on 1/1/23 and let me tell you, this is an experience you do not want to miss. The launch is surprisingly forceful, but it’s not that forceful to make it look scary. Trust me, it is an amazing launch. The first drop surprisingly gave me some floater airtime. The second drop is also amazing. A lot of floater airtime as well. I also got the chance to ride in the front and back. For the vertical loop, I recommend sitting in the front. It is much less rough and will give you a better experience. The third drop is not scary at all. Also on those dips on the turns after the third drop, you do feel some G’s. And those airtime hills near the end of the ride give nice floater airtime. Overall, this is an amazing ride experience and it will not disappoint.

Also, what they do to make you feel like you’re going faster is place fans around the layout of the ride while you are in the dark. Incredicoaster has a top speed of 55 mph, which is 20 mph faster than Space Mountain.

The first time I ever rode this I was on the second row. I was nervous to get on but did. As Im on I suddenly see the loops coming. My heart dropped! There was no way out LOL. I ride it whenever I can now . Such a fun ride!

I had to be persuaded for about 5 hours before going on this. I was so scared I was even crying in the line. When we got in the seats I was SHAKING, and I held onto those arm bars so tightly I was sore after 😅 I also had my eyes closed 99% of the time because I was focusingng so much on how I felt.
BUT BUT BUT, that made it so much easier to bear, and I will admit it was an absolute blast. If I could have I would have gotten on again the second time but have my eyes open, now knowing what I would feel. 8/10 for the ride

as someone who used to be absolutely terrified of roller coasters, i just said fuck it and went on and i felt the happiest person ever after lol. i’m not great with drops and hate that stomach feeling but it lasts probably one second during the drops and i was laughing so much after them! the worst drop is probably the first just because it’s right after the launch so you’re going into it at a speed so i find it to be more intense than the second! but after you get through that first drop you literally feel so euphoric if you just have the mindset that you’re going to have fun!! big tip is just to turn your nervousness into excitement by smiling and laughing before it starts!! i found that it helped me a lot the first time riding it because you’re not setting yourself up already to not like it. (i rode it 6 times that one day bc it gives u sm adrenaline lol i was so happy) screaming before and during drops also helps! and believe everyone who says that u don’t feel yourself going upside down on the loop, just a bit of pressure after going back down but nothing extreme and it goes away fast after. i do recommend sitting at the front or better yet the middle on your first time as you do feel the drops more at the back - you could just tell the workers there. i’m in loveee w this ride and you won’t regret riding it!

I am the biggest coaster wuss and I rode the incredicoaster recently. The incredicoaster is surprisingly slow for most of the ride. There are three drops but they are tamer than the splash mountain drop IMO. So, if you can ride space mountain and splash mountain, you can do this ride. It’s really fun and not scary at all!

just rode this today and it was amazing!! i think it seems to look a lot more intimidating than it really is. the drops are very fun and it's extremely fast, the loop (for anyone who hasnt gone on a rollercoaster with one yet) isnt as bad as you might think and it actually pushes you down into your seat. im gonna ride it again later since its honestly amazing. would recommend even if you're scared, its a terrific ride

The first drop you do feel the most air time and I was surprised by that.
The second drop you don’t feel much air time even though it looks like it.
The loop feels like you’re going straight the whole time with a brief moment of realizing you’re upside down by your seat pressure but ultimately feels like you’re just going straight the whole time.
The third drop you barely feel and then you just cruise the rest of the way back.
I’m still scared of rollercoasters and but this one I won’t miss when I go to CA Adventure.
Side note: Overall, Space Mountain feels faster to me than the Incredicoaster even though I know it’s not. Maybe the darkness makes it feel faster than it is.
I love the Dash startup at the beginning. Hearing the footsteps rapidly approaching to create fear that "Oh god, a speedster is going to make this cart go 50mph in mere seconds and I don't have time to prepare for that"

For anyone who is terrified of this ride this is for you, I recently went on this ride for the first time terrified i don’t do big roller coasters like this but when I tell you this ride is not as bad as it looks at you don’t feel that odd butterfly stomach feeling as long as your not in the back rows and even if you are you hardly feel it. Also if your afraid for the launch, how ever fast you think it’s gonna go it definitely goes slower, I feel the launch on the mummy ride at universal studios Hollywood more than the launch on this ride. My mom who can’t do any type of small roller coasters LOVED this ride and we got on it about 6 more times in a row after the first. Now if your scared for the loop don’t it was my first time going on ride with a loop and that was probably my favorite part of the ride, you do feel the g forces pushing on you but it’s not too bad. For the second drop I will say you will definitely feel like you’re falling for a while but overall it’s a very enjoyable ride even for those who don’t like rides like these. After riding this I feel like I can ride the hulk ride at universal studios Orlando.

I got to ride this for the first time last week. SO. MUCH. FUN. We were there for three days and we rode it multiple times each day. It’s also much faster than what the video shows. But it’s such a good ride.

At first I was very scared to go on this ride, but it’s not as bad as it looks!! The scariest coaster I’ve ever gone on before this was the mummy ride at universal, so this was my first real roller coaster. The beginning is fast but that’s the only part where it feels kinda bad, but once you get past that part the rest doesn’t feel intense! The loop isn’t bad either, when I went on you can feel air pressure holding you down, so there’s nothing to worry about.
If you’ve never gotten on a roller coaster before, go on this one!! It’s very mild and a great first roller coaster, it’s my favorite one so far and really fun to go on

I rode this the first time in 2002, loved everything about it It was ~ my 6th rollercoaster ever.
Rode it again in ~2013. One of the most uncomfortable and painful rides I ever had on a rollercoaster; the launch felt slow, and there was almost no air time and the meandering was boring. hated it, as of 2 days ago it was in my top 3 worst coasters out of ~60.
Rode it again yesterday (9-13-22). I was way too harsh on this coaster last time and the remodel is amazing. The whole experience was wonderful. It's one of my favorite rides now. I think I must've just got a bad train last time and the memory got exaggerated to an extreme over a decade.
The second time around, in 2013 were you back row? Ive heard its meant to be the most intense out of all the rows, and also launches arent as powerful at the back, but the drops are more intense. You drop at a faster rate too which might affect your air time.

I've always been terrified of rollercoasters since I was a kid. My girlfriend and I went to Disneyland and California Adventure recently, and while I quite enjoy the smaller stuff, like Space Mountain and Big Thunder, I was 'Incredibly' (see what I did there?) apprehensive about going on Incredicoaster. It's crazy what a few alcoholic beverages and a little bit of egging from your S/O will make you do. All in all, we ended up going on it twice, and I actually really enjoyed it! I still don't think I'm cut out for the more extreme stuff, like Mantu, Goliath, or Kingda Ka. For now, I'm content with conquering the Incredicoaster! As a guy who still fears rollercoasters, I definitely recommend giving it a shot. I certainly can't wait to go again in the future!
Still a HARD PASS on the Tower of Terror/Guardians of the Galaxy elevator drop though.

I decided to face my extreme fears and I mean extreme fears and ride this thing. I got on it and loved it so much. Don't worry about any dips they are so fast just tighten your stomach and you won't feel anything. I went on again right after. Don't chicken out it's awesome. I'm the biggest scardy cat.
