It’s just amazing how far we’ve come. I started racing in ‘74 and you took the best cores you could get, massaged them, and prayed. Your exotically engineered blocks and heads take more than a pounding, all at cool temps, over mikes and miles.
My sbc 331 always needed power valves & spark plugs, usually done on the side of the road. Lol

Nice numbers for that blower! I’d be interested in seeing a comparison to the Hemi with the same blower and gear set.

Pretty welds look nice, but I have seen plenty of ugly ones pass x-ray! I tell the young ninjas( You are only as good as Your last weld). The same with painting!

Why is no one doing twin pro chargers
Don't know for sure but Superchargers take a lot of power to spin them at high boost. I have read that 15-20% of measured crank HP is consumed by a centrifical supercharger. Two superchagers-30-40% where as a larger single unit might only be a small percentage increase in power "lost". Spooling is also not an issue like with a turbocharger.
I can say from experience, when the Nissan 350z came out, I had some first hand experience with several cars. The single turbo kits generally made about 15% more wheel HP than the Procharger kits at similar boost.
How long do dry deck and heads run before overheating?
You run it on methonal, no cooling system needed

In regard to pro chargers I’v heard that they are junk and you have to rebuild them after every run. Does that hold any weight?
Deep breath!!!! Um, for example, do you watch Street Outlaws or NPK? Almost every one of them runs a Pro Charger these days and they are not "rebuilding" them after every run! Where do you guys hear this nonsense. We ran one in 20 events last season, with no loss of boost. It is fresh this year (yearly "rebuild" is certainly okay, right?) so we are hoping for an even better season. I would quit listening to the dumb asses you have been hanging with.

@@Turningwrenchs ...The billet Morris SMX is incredibly strong. Steve has been making these ultra high power engines for quite awhile and I am sure they are as strong or stronger than anything available. You don't often hear of one of these engines grenading!!
