Thank you. I'm considering moving to Nebraska now that my youngest is ready to move out & live on his own. I want rural areas, small towns where the winters aren't frigid & the wind isn't as bad as Wyoming. Been looking at western Nebraska because I need some mountains, but I hear the wind is terrible there. I'd do without mountains if it means less wind. I'll be doing a little more research on Scottsbluff, North Platte & Kearney areas.
@@mgday933 Either of those cities are good choices, imho. Scottsbluff has *the view,* at least, when you stand atop the Bluff itself & you can still make out the Medicine Bow Range in the distance, if I remember right. The North Platte area is also beautiful. Kearney (pronounced "Carney," in case you didn't know) is a large town with one of our university campuses. Good luck and welcome!

Thank you discover! ❤🇺🇸❤️ From italy 👋
Thank you too!
Hey! How about cities west of Kearney? There is North Platte, Scottsbluff and Chadron, or even Valentine, if you really want to get away from it all.

Those of us that live west of the 100th meridian call all those suburbs "Omahole". It's CAR ney, not kerny.
Honestly papillon, Bellevue, La vista Bennington and Gretna could all be considered Omaha. They are all suburbs of Omaha
Don't believe it there is none
