Ralston, Gretna, Blair, Bellevue, LaVista and Papillion are all suburbs of Omaha. Ralston, LaVista and Papillion are all next to each other along 84th street and you can’t tell when you’ve left one city and entered the next all the way into Omaha, it was that way 40 years ago when I lived there and has gotten more so now.
I use to live in South Sioux City, NE it is a small town n it is a quiet town too..There's no violent at all at that time when i was leaving there back in 97 to 04..
Problem with nebraska is it’s incredibly expensive to live here. We are one of the highest taxed states in the country. I live in a middle class house and pay $980 per month in PROPERTY Tax alone. This is on par with my father in law who lives in Chicago. And you don’t get any reprieve elsewhere as our state taxes and vehicle taxes are in line with California. Just beware if you’re moving here, you only keep around 60% of your earnings here as opposed to somewhere like Iowa or Oklahoma or Texas where you keep much more of your earnings.
Property taxes are too high and have been for a long time. The low population base is the reason for the high property taxes. They try to fix it but the options are never that good. We'll see what the new governor does. Not much faith in him
@@nnonotnow just got a notice my taxes going up another $216 a month this year. So for a middle income housing it’s now $1100 a month in prop tax. I’d steer clear of nebraska If looking to move .
Property taxes are pushing people out. Nebraska rakes in 900 million in lottrry sales every year. Where is that money going? The streets are horrible year round.
Oh yeah, the smell of pig farms. I love Iowa and Nebraska it's pretty. I was driving through to Colorado and noticed the smell. It wasn't me!@@FartSmucker
I noticed that the majority of towns recommended are metro-Omaha/Lincoln.

Can't believe the bright lights of Grand Island didn't make the list.
Do you recommend?
I was living in grand island. GI for 11 years. It’s a good place. But crime it’s too much.
Grand Island is horrid. Flat, boring and full of messy-can trash. 😂

This video sounds like it was belched out by an AI... that said I agree with the number 1 pick...
I was born in Nebraska and was lucky to leave when I 18 and never went back
Avoid Bennington if you don't like sky high property taxes. They spend money like drunken sailors.
High Taxes 😮
Don’t forget high taxes, miserable winters, humid summers, many miles from any outdoor activities. Low wage grinder jobs
When were these home values done? Don’t sound real!
nebraska city, minden, and chadron ROBBED!!!!!!!
My grandmother lived in Minden many years. It's a beautiful little town, love the Christmas decorations of the courthouse and city square.
I can’t believe anyone lives here
I drove through Nebraska once. It smelled like Iowa.
Odd thing to say but ok.

Both states smell bad and the people
there have manure between their ears. Dumb as sh*t.
