FINAL HOURS: Convicted killer Taberon Honie set to be executed in Utah

- Taberon Honie is set to be executed by lethal injection at midnight Thursday. He was found guilty of killing his ex-girlfriend’s mother and his daughter’s grandmother, Claudia Benn, in 1998. He was sentenced to death the following year.
Honie will be the first person to be executed in Utah in 14 years; Ronnie Lee Gardner was executed by firing squad in 2010.
Prior to the execution, there are multiple steps the Utah State Prison staff have to complete on their end and for the prisoner, including his last meal. See KUTV 2 News’ full coverage leading up to Honie’s final moments.

Can you imagine the fear that poor woman felt whilst her throat was being slit? Suffocating on her own blood, the pain must have been excruciating. Make it about the victim NOT the murderer.
That would be a nightmare knowing i couldn’t protect my 3 grand-babies. I pray she went quickly. Her poor grand-babies witnessed all of this. 😢

That was in Idaho and they couldn’t find a vein and that most likely was due to being dehydrated

Yeah, but people don't realize taxpayers are paying for this stuff. We're paying more for death row inmates than we are actual prisoners in America and people don't realize that it's taxpayer dollars that can go to schools that can go to public housing can go to different things. In the end it's the crime and why they are in this position, Oh I'm sure they change after being in prison specially the closer they get to the end.
