I think that there are two things to look at here: Does the death penalty end the suffering of those loved ones of the victim? Secondly which part of the lengthy drawn out process of incarceration until the death penalty is carried out or they die of natural causes whilst incarcercerated for 26 years is better punishment for the perpetrator? The cost of keeping the perpetrator incarcerated versus administrating the death penalty almost immediately after sentence is pronounced are both substantial. Personally, I believe that the perpetrator suffers more the longer it takes to commute the sentence especially being given hope that they might get their sentence reduced and then that hope is wiped out again and again. Remember that the perpetrator has family on the outside who are innocent and can't just turn off their feelings about their loved ones. We need to show them compassion.

waste of time and money speaking on the death of a despicable individual
Do some witnesses not have mic's? Cannot hear them.
So after all that their all murderers what he did was horrendous don't think anyone should be put to death non of us have the right the higher power will take care of it condolences to both families 🙏
For all you sitting there like you care only about you living in your own sin. You shall also be judged. Money means nothing in heaven.
I heard no contrition. He didn't seem to grasp the seriousness of his situation, if he had, he would have prayed to the Lord, his God. He would have begged for forgiveness from God and from his victims whom he martyred. He is now cut off from God for eternity. That is a period that is impossible to fathom.
No one said we are without sin...but if you chose to murder and innocent person and brutalised a 6 yea old child you chose the consequences that comes with that
We all have judgement day and none of us are clean of sins. However, a woman's life was taken without any regards to her life and he used a child's body for his own pleasure. Many of us have not committed such atrocious sins.
Neither do opinions
@@shannonricketts4628 sin is no different than any other sin. Sin is sin. There is no high or low.

Horrible way to die. May his soul transcend to the light🙏🏻✨regardless of the crimes committed let God judge him.
How his victim died was horrible. This wasn’t a horrible death. May he burn 🔥🔥🔥🔥 in hell.
Dang! Jim REALLY wanted to talk & tell his feelings
Took long enough
I get the death penalty, but this sounds just awful
Did anyone else notice the many misspellings in the title of this video??
Were the witnesses not allowed to wear watches or have cell phone's???
Why does people have to discuss about what they saw…this is supposed to be between their familes not the whole world to know…disgusting thing to do…
This is so traumatic for the family. Americans turn everything into Hollywood scenes & it's sickening.
public descriptions of this man dying are barbaric and uncivilized ...
As his victim’s murder! Your point?
🇨🇦, here. I always wonder. Has anyone ever said that they didn’t commit a Death-Sentence type of crime, simply bc of the fear of potentially receiving the Death Penalty?
This man likely knew he was committing a Death-Penalty-worthy crime, and still he did it.
What would have kept him from doing it at all, I wonder?
Where is our justice!? Natives to this land!? That's what I like to know!? So don't be bullshiting the event remember this is between natives. Both are hurting! You have no rights to say stuffs. He has a child with a different tribe. Have respect. Enough let the families deal with it.
You. Make no sense....murder is murder.he was a scum.....
You can hear several of the people speaking
KJV Bible Luke 13 vs 5 except ye repent ye shall all likewise parish
Canada abolished DP. It is not a deterrent. Life is worse than DP.
The whole process is horrible.
Peace to both families.
That's because it's not done often.

Wonder if any family were present?
Did he fight and why 2 injections in each arm
Where was the sound engineer?
Why all the fanfare for a murderer ? Seems as though this could have been downplayed rather than made a huge production
They say it was peaceful but when you read the fox article it says he jolted off table and it took 17-20 mins for him to pass away…🤨 It’s 2024 there must be a better way
God doesn’t forgive murders or executioners
That's correct
