For the persons wondering, she set the mic to take the vocals exactly how she wants in to sound in her DAW(protools, Luna, fl studio etc).
When punched in, you don’t have to any crazy processing for it was already processed in the interfaces stand alone mixer.
you forgot to mention a great singer before all of that!!!! LOL
😂😂😂😂😂😂
The singing is not that good. You only said that because she is so sexy
You're showing all the simple stuff that professionals look past. Keep up the good work, a lot of us need this information 💯
Ok will do the same exact video. Thanks
Where’s the tube tech comp hardware I don’t see it in the background?
didn’t explain anything, I ain’t finna let that slide just cuz you look good 💀
LMAO
Same here 😞
Damn it’s that easy.. No gate or anything and the results are just amazing🙏🏾
try explaining compression, eq, gain staging, preamps in one fkin minute dude😀😀
@@lilgrippie what is your point bro? I will never try to explain something I don’t fully understand dude 😀😀. It doesn’t change the fact she used clickbait to lure people for views dude 😀😀
Your voice is dope!
THE BEST!!!! amazing!

Thank you.❤
i like your studio
That's recorded pretty loud. Sounds great tho! As long as there's no clipping or distortion 🔥 I usually shoot for -25lufs
Just what I thought and no one responded about it
Nice 🔥

So where do u sell your songs after there produced, and recorded?
🔥🔥🔥
Only problem with those, they have only 1 optical in, can’t add xtra adat channels, have to have optical in and out
I wanna learn more. I have always believed hardware controls were better thsn software. But this is showing me differently.
They are, you can hit, hardware harder creating coloration that you can't get with digital. Also a mistake in hardware isn't the same as a mistake in digital a mistake with digital is more crucial. The con with hardware is if your hardware fails where as digital you can just uninstall then reinstall. I've spend hours changing tubes for example in my different pre's and compressors seeing what I liked best. Also if your settings are one way with HW it might sound different the next day even wit the same settings, mic, artist, etc. They both have their pros and cons, but I'd choose analogue every time over digital. I've used many of the consoles and gear over my 32 years and you can tell the difference if your ears are trained to between the two, some come close (for example) waves may sound closer to the actual 76 than UAD version to some.
Looks like the mix knob was low when you added everything UAD back in at the end. Could you explain?
😂😂😂😂🙏🏾 no one can explain that 😇
🔥🔥🔥🔥
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What DAW is that please 🙏
She has a C800 this is a UAD ad lol 😂
Sounds great, but that's a LOT of eq to print to tape!
What is this "mixing on recording" software?
Hi Mrs Karra, I really love your video. What are your routine daily
Please give me LG screen mode. Thank you.
Are UAD plugins run on the device? Or your computer?
😌
So are the vocals being printed this way or is it no different than having inserts on the channel in your daw?
So with the interface there’s an option . You can either have the effects on just so the artist hears it while recording , or you can print it , so all those effects actually manipulate the vocals , meaning there’s no going back lol
❤❤❤
What Song Is This
Your vocal input level doesn't have to be that high. You can leave it at about 40% on mixer and inside your daw. The engineering/mixing will pull your vocals out front center FOR VOLUME ie compression and limiters...
Not true, you should aim for -6 for correct signal to noise ratio, this was a standard practice when using analog preamps, as you would get more pleasant colour from your Pre. Also, a mixing engineer will also just turn down the input of the compressor. -6 is industry standard for vocal recording and sometimes louder for the style or genre of music. Lots of music has been recorded with clipping their pre amps for a particular sound, better to record something slightly louder and be able to turn it down, than to record something to soft where you can’t boost it dies to noise from the ground floor and the units you used to record the material
@@stilltrvsbeats9606 I understand, but you can still achieve the same results at -6db... While keeping the recording levels less than halfway when you record. The reason for this is because you will achieve max volume plus clarity. If you record at high volume levels, you'll loose clarity when trying to keep max volume on vocals. Trust me
@@therealforeignwolfreal talk atleast with my Apollo when my levels are that high , I get some nasty ass distortion. I usually need it only peaking into the yellow at my loudest points.
@@stilltrvsbeats9606this is irrelevant to in-the-box mixing bro. What you just said about noise floors is only relevant to hardware units. I typically record low & use gain staging to increase volume. Works out a lot better. You also flipped it, you can turn something up more, but if it’s too loud you cannot turn it down.
@@stilltrvsbeats9606 dont listen to this nigga hes talking nonsense. The "industry standard" is -18 dBFS and all the plugins hardware emulation aim to that level as well, which is 0vu analog.
All uad plugins unlocked
FOH, you cap!
@@honorrollTM yeah it look to good to be true huh ... . Say less 💯💪
man i wish id be happy with some unison pre
Hey I love your works. I have a song I want you to mix an master for me ❤
❤
Is this song out?
Karra, pleeeease, is this song available anywhere? Been stuck in my head since Reid's AutoTune video. 😭😭😭
Lol 😂 literally
@@lindasanchez6182 seriously, lol. glad I'm not the only one.
Yup since the efx and how he break down all the autotunes lol litty that song go hard

You showed us the ad, but what softwares are you using?
I think it’s ableton
@@flakomane787 ok ima have to check out this software, I’m still learning this stuff … idk what I’m doing lol
@@baddiezone keep at it 🙌🔥🙏
@@flakomane787 will do thanks for the encouragement 💗
@@baddiezone pro tools, ableton isnt that ugly.
your narration voice sounds crisp-p!
Song?
Perfect level is -18 and -12 for peaks
Don’t give false informations please
Not for peaks, a very dynamic performer can peak up to -6, but yea keep your signal around -16ish so you have headroom to mix!
What DAW is that
thats ua console or luna
@@prodbydramatic okay thank you
@@markspencerofficial your very welcome and those come free when you buy a Apollo interface. Anytime you got question I gotchu bro we all start somewhere
Please help me
Why not just say record at -12dbFS to -6dbFS?
“I am for the top of the green where it starts to turn yellow” bc I don’t know what headroom is 🤦♂️
She makes living out of it but yeah you probably know better. Headroom in digital era? Come on dude 😂
@@krystianbojarczuk4324 yes headroom is still a thing every time you run a signal through your converters or pass an existing digital signal to a plugin they have a nominal dbFS level, turd. Dynamic range doesn’t stop being a thing just because a signal is digital 😂
OF?
Eu não entendi nada
:)
Do you ever record higher than 48khz?
48khz is more reserved for film/video sound. 44khz is slightly more "musical" and tends to be a little softer to the ears. Most films/videos have 48khz as it sounds more modern/digital. But I'd recommend switching to 44khz to trial it out and to see if you prefer it
UAD is the shit
But can you do metal?😅
It’s all personal taste but I don’t like the spices being mixed here. 😂❤. Good start but you just gave your personal opinion. There are no rules to mixing but some humans do make vocals sound bright without sharp over tones. It has to make me feel something not just sound right. Not perfect. That does not exist
everyone simpin
Can you please help buy me a microphone, I want to learn music production
great skills but too much "sparkle" in your voiceovers.
Never forget, dont record all that stuff on tape. Add it later, thats no hardware shit, and too much processing can be pain for the singer to listen to while singing or even kill the performance cuz of a wrong dynamic feedback. Get the signal as clean as possible and edit it later to your liking.
W the apollo u can choose which effects to print with and which to just monitor thru
Recording vocal without having enough headroom? Wow
The software emulates a recording console. On a recording console, you want to record as hot as you can without clipping or distorting the signal.
Step 1 get a Apollo
Right I ain’t got a stack on me like that just lying around 😂😂
@@misterhutch2053 work
Why is she talking in seductive voice in a music production video?
seductive voice? bro are you good 💀
Why not?
Does anyone song for real anymore?
You are so cute
😂 that’s your vocal chain
Every vid is an ad💀
Nooooo it’s expensive 😂😂
Am I braindead or is -10Gr overdose as fuck???
tracking too hot
LA3A?
Replace that with the LA3A!
Record vocals at -18!
Less is more
Can you gift me anything
Wrong, the perfect level is -10 to -15 so when u mix is smooth without force
This video is 8 minutes of a boring guy straight up waffling

old tech.
LOL TH-cam artist
Dirty
I just wanted to say...
I really don't like your aura, it is dark.
Unnecessary and overpriced
Most Uad plugins ass compared to the real thing
Right... I have tried those UAD preamp plugins a few times and I'm just not satisfied.
@@blvkqmusicgroup I wouldn’t rely on the unison functionality over equivalent external preamplification if you can afford not to. The benefit is in being able to process many channels of externally captured signal using the closest equivalent to physical hardware. I may dream of it, but I’m never going to own several physical channels of SSL 4000 channel strips or even empirical distressors
yo... that makeup 🤮
Sounds like crap. 😂
