    Thanks for not only great RME tutorials, but the challenge in the end is spot on! ;-)

    Total Mix is POWERFUL!!!!
    Been using RME for over a decade and am about to upgrade to another RME interface in the next few days or so.
    RME gear is awesome!

    Thanks, this is very clear and helpful. I have the UFX+ and use only a fraction of all of the TotalMix features but this is very useful for future reference. It took me a while to understand the software, this is a good introduction.

    Love total mix and it's a thing I know I should explore way more to make my life easier in the studio and have access to way more functionality from my UFX. Thanks a lot for these tips!

    Great! Wish more intro and real world learning videos existed for the fundamentals on great tools and apps. And basic vids with explanations and called out quick keys shown are the best... Vids that pro's make that toggle and don't state how they open some menu or option modes are good but frustrating. That drives me f n crazy! You see and hear do this and that; and then it's a mystery on how the hell they got to that mode/option. . .Thanks! Solid~

    I really like your videos.
    Years ago I had an original Babyface but I sold it, because Totalmix was way too complicated for my use cases.
    But now I'm looking for a new Audiointerface and RME is on the top of my list because of all the headache with the other interfaces I had in the last years.
    Your videos about Totalmix convince me to try it again :)

      The MOTU Ultralight might give you a more accessible yet totally reliable interface: the software is super simple! I use both and find RME Totalmix a heavy learning curve!

    Great video! Really finding your content very helpful. I just want to know with regards to reverb or effects in total mix, is it possible to monitor without printing them, when recording into your DAW?

    • @CREATEEDUCATEINSPIRE
      @CREATEEDUCATEINSPIRE  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      By default they only monitor, you would have to reroute if you wanted the wet signal as well.

      @@CREATEEDUCATEINSPIRE thanks for the response. Would be great to see a more in depth video on the effects within total mix. But appreciate the great videos your making-some of the best explanation on RME total mix I have seen.

    I have a question, if I wanted to start pulling in things like 500 Module chains / outboard equipment, would the UCX II start to hit IO limitations fast? (I've already got a Quad Cortex, Korg Minilogue XD) and obviously want to add a few more synths / modular synths to this. Would the UFX III be a better option or overkill?

      I use the reverb for tracking vocals, just to give the singer a vibe, but no eq or comp as I’m going through a channel strip preamp

    Hello! I bought this card, but I noticed if I shake it a little, or turn my feet on my head, so that the sound sounds there, as if the shaker is not loud! This is fine? what could it be?

    • @CREATEEDUCATEINSPIRE
      @CREATEEDUCATEINSPIRE  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      They all have that. It’s the hard buttons on the front panel, if you give the unit a shake you can hear the buttons. It’s fine, just part of the design

      It really depends if you want the UAD workflow with the hardware plugins. I used to use an Apollo but stopped because If I was traveling and didn't have the Apollo, I would be missing plugins. Now I just use the native UAD with RME interface and its the best of both worlds.

      Apollo on windows sucks. Replaced it with rme yesterday after a year of struggles. Do yourself a favour and go with the one with stable drivers

    • @EnervatedSociety
      @EnervatedSociety 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      RME, all day, always. King of long term support and drivers. Don't worry about the method of connection unless you're running an insane number I/O simultaneously, or have no other options for whatever reason. For normal operation you will get lower latency/roundtrip latency from the RME, if that matters to you. In other words, the drivers are coded so well the RME performs better using a USB 2.0 connection. It's also very convenient if you're moving around as it's a very common connection type. In the case of RME interfaces with "DURec" you can use them as standalone and record all inputs and outputs directly to USB memory devices via the USB port.
