- Join me at Blackpool Pleasure Beach as i check out all of the changes throughout the park as Pleasure Beach celebrates 125 years of operation. We head on to one of the oldest ghost train's in the country and the MOST Haunted in the WORLD! we will also check out the classics like the Big Dipper, The Big one, and other attractions like Nickelodeon Land.

I used to love the pb back in the 70s and 80s. Loved the log flume, gold mine ride, the monorail (and the giant holding the track up) .the noahs ark and laughing clown really scared me as a kid too. Happy times, seems lot of hassle and cost these days
I remember the giant! There used to be a laughing King, very creepy too when you're a kid. You got graded tickets and the white knuckle rides were the roller coasters. Alice in Wonderland was a must each visit😊

Great video! I haven’t been on the ghost train in years and I see it’s changed quite a bit but glad to see the cycling skeletons are still there 😃

I worked on the pleasure beach 40 years ago, it's changed so much, lived in Blackpool for 29 years, don't miss it, last time I was there was 5 years ago, what a dump 😢

My biggest complaint about this video is that it's too short. I know BPB very well, but this was still very entertaining.

My local park. I never tire of watching vlogs from here. If you go in the Chinese Maze and find the path that takes you along the back of the Nickelodeon Streak, it brings you out by the side of the pizza kitchen.

Hello Tim 😊 Ive been a couple of times 😊First time was 1978 I was 10. Was in the old FunHouse it was great. Also inside a big dome was The Cage Ride. It was just sitting there and my mum said to me and my sister, go on that and see what it does 😱After we came off chalk white, she said oh I didn't think it was going to do that! 😱😱2000 went again, there was a big blue hotel called Terror Towers. It was scary but good also. 😅😅😅
Theme park heaven has to be one of the top attractions in Blackpool, nice tour.

That ghost train was a long ride, most of the one's I've been on years ago lasted a minute and a half😅. A great video and great screaming sound effects from you Tim😂😂😂😂!!

Hi Tim not been to Blackpool pleasure beach in ages ,a remember the old log flume ,and the house you got in and spinned round ,felt so I'll ,there was the mouse , there was a big ship with all the animals ,waik throw , the ark ,alot of changes ,thanks Tim 🤣

When I went on the Dora ride last year for a school trip the speaker was broken for me and was just in silence until I heard the boat behind me playing the music and was confused. Good Times :)

I love the pleasure beach but it has gone down hill somewhat over the years, I remember back in the 90’s and early 2000’s that you could enter the park free and purchase tokens if you wanted to ride certain rides, certainly for people that can’t go on rides or have wheelchairs it was better, but now you have to purchase a wristband to enter, even if you can’t go on the rides. A lot of the best rides have gone, especially the crazy mouse, indoor space rollercoaster which I absolutely loved and many others. The ghost train needs updating, there are amazing better animatronics and special effects that could be used for that ride but it seems to be in decay. My favourite ride there is the Valhalla and Big One

I worked on the Pleasure Beach in the 1980s & I worked on the cars, I was coming back up the ride from my break & was hit by one of the cars coming back in after going around the track. After being hit I was spun round & hit one of the cross beams overhead, a guard saw what happened & came over to deal with me, I thought I was fine but when the Guard asked me a question I shook my head & saw his white shirt turn red!. I ended up being in Blackpool Hospital for a few days with a severe concussion, I still to this day have 2 & a half-inch dent in my forehead/skull so for anyone who may be thinking of getting a job at the Pleasure Beach, be careful as it can be & is dangerous, so stay alert always.

@@WalkWithMeTim Hi Tim, I should hope so, but it still does not hurt to let others know who may well get a job there having never worked on something like that before. So to all who may well be in that situation, keep your eyes open, stay alert & most of all do not think that you can do things that you should not be doing, stay safe! I’m so excited! On Monday (5 days), me and my school are going to the pleasure beach!! I’ll be going on my first every big coaster there, and I’m really excited about it! Can anyone give me any like reassurance about the big one or any other scary rides so I know what’s coming 😆

You should visit Kennywood over here in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the US sometime. It's an old amusement park AND a historical landmark just like Blackpool Pleasure Beach. It has seven rollercoasters one of which is indoors and a couple old rides that have existed since it opened in 1898.

One more thing I forgot to mention, there's a Thomas and Friends themed area there too.
I remember when the "blue flyer" was the "zipper dipper"
Are you sure Tim you screamed and not Gabby, it would have been fun if you walked into a haunted house, where the rocket ride is underneath the shop on Most Haunted that is spooky as they mentioned there were thee children moving things. They had a seance to see if they could talk to those kids but to no avail

Tim, last time I went to Blackpool I got stuck at the top of the Avalanche ride because it broke down. But the view was amazing.

I am a huge fan off your videos and show different places when theme parks. If you interested that flamingo Park at hastings got brand new second had ride called xpinball ride know as crazy mouse used to belong to margate dreamland them park and new private ship ride and a other brand new ride but not open and they got brand new Dodgems track. Hi Tim, great vid. Did you have to get permission to film inside BPB in advance? I'm only asking as, like me, you have a sizeable TH-cam channel and they might be a bit apprehensive about content creators filming, as we do technically make money out of this and therefore it could be considered professional videography by the park. A lot of my fans are asking when I will go in BPB. I am hoping to go sometime this year, but when it is a bit quieter. I haven't been in for about 10 years, believe it or not.
Yep I had to get permission and tell them exactly what I was planning to film and was restrictions on what rides I couldn't film on and they wanted to check out the youtube channel

Sad about the laughing man. When I went last year he wasn’t moving at all. A few years ago he used to move a lot and laugh louder perhaps the visitors waiting in the queue of the avalanche are tired of it laughing 😂
