Literally the exact same thing happened to one my neighbor brought to me. He said I could have it, so I dug into it and saw bits of the seal in that little flap and stopper. Took it apart, cleaned it out, cleaned the parts, lubed things up and now I have a perfectly running, free air compressor! 👍
Thanks for the video - the only source that actually provided the information I needed. I do wish the camera was aimed at the parts you were removing, and a little more detail about how the parts go back together. But again, the only thing I could find of value on the web. Thanks again
I picked up the same compressor from the garbage dump metal bin, this is exactly what was wrong with it... needed a new couplink too, and was missing the cord and rear fan motor guard...all fixed up... even added an intake filter. 2:41
Got the same compressor and took that part off. The gasket seemed fine but there is a piece below the intake vale that seems skewed. I'm not sure if that is the issue why the pressure won't build but, you never know. not sure if I can post a picture here.

I was surprised as mine had low hours. Figured it had to be something simple to fix! Thanks for watching!
You’re a lifesaver dude. Really appreciate the advice and it was the exact reason my compressor wasn’t working.

I’d love to say my video skills have improved but it’s hasn’t. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thank you so very much for this video!! Mine had the exact same problem and I was able to get it fixed in no time!!
@@Username-vq5ri thank you for watching!
Thanks for this video, I fixed mine as well! Looks like it was liquid gasket at first. Thank you!!
Thanks for watching!

I didn’t even think about that. That’s a good idea! Thanks for watching!
@@Daves_adventures4315 wish I could post some pics of the reclaim ;♧
Thanks for the video! Just had the exact same thing on mine!
Not a problem! Thanks for the watch and comment!
Thanks for this video! Mine had the exact same issue. 20 minutes later, it’s chugging along again.
They definitely didn’t hold back on the RTV.
Your neighbor sounds like a pretty sharp guy!
Sharp like a spoon 🤣😂🤣

You can send the pic to davidcockrellahsitraining.com not sure if I can help but will totally take a look
Where can I get the round valve keeper that holds the little valve stem? It feels like maybe aluminum
@@wesleyhawkins9898 I don’t know what the actual name for it is but Amazon has tons of parts
How did you get the little valve piece separated into 2?
It’s been a while since I did this video. Which valve are you taking about?
The warranty is up on my 20 gal. and the motor gave up. These 20 gal Goodyears turned into a Badyear.
That stinks

How did you get the pieces apart once it was off? I don't want to damage it
It’s been a bit but what parts are you asking?
It was just stuck. I used a small screwdriver. Had to rewatch to see what you meant
Hi there, I just opened my 3-gallon goodyear air compressor from the box, and I put the switch on but not working, any help please
If you just opened it I’d return it if that’s possible. It could be a lot of things ranging from bad power switch to start up relays.
