Le choix de la clarinette, caressante, est intéressant et approprié au caractère de la voix soprano. Pour une cantatrice qui cherche à exprimer la fragilité, la flûte traversière... L' accompagnement "directif" du piano est irréprochable, magnifique.
Quelle idée géniale que d'introduire la clarinette dans cette pièce. Elle communique l'émotion autant sinon plus que la voix humaine. Bravo from Montréal.

Among the many aspect of music which are necessary for such performances, I believe the most crucial is the hardest to define. A soul. Music needs to be lived through, and experienced deep within one's gut. This interpretation holds more soul than quite a few I've heard beforehand. Not because of technical mastery ( though it is present here ) but because of this strange je ne sais quoi, which above all make or break a performance for me at least. Well done.

I am so incredibly moved by this piece of music. How can humanity while being so vile and gross with war, hatred and malice. And yet from the same origin such rarefied, sublime qualities embodied by this music become manifest and ever be possible. To me, it is a paradox that the same species could pull the trigger on a gun in hate also be the origin of such lofty and noble music. I am so very moved and through this music I hope the very best for humanity as, indeed this represents the very best and refined of all of us, thank you.
