I own several old LP's performed by Schreier.... mostly his Mendelssohn lieder.....for the longest time I stopped listening to him and laughing, referred to him as "Peter Der Schreihals!" I own several old LP's performed by Schreier.... mostly his Mendelssohn lieder.....for the longest time I stopped listening to him and laughing, referred to him as "Peter Der Schreihals!" I honestly must say that upon listening to this, the tenderness he displays and the subtle and wonderful technique... my interest is again renewed. THANK YOU for sharing this marvelous video!!!

xu wang I am an engineer 57 years old, I’ll go to sing as much as I can. This aria is full of pain, young man don’T undestand this. The stile is so difficult so .... due wang I don’t know you but do not comment what you don’t undesratand. If I am wrong write it down we can open an argoment to analise toghether. It will be my pleasure todiscuss it with you.
