I recently purchased a 7600x that was advertised as used only a few times for £180 from a reputable vendor on ebay - upgraded from an 11400f. Paired it with my 6950XT which I bought a couple summers ago and the uplift in performance from the old cpu is remarkable. Although I guess going from CL16 3200 to CL30 6000mhz definitely helps as well. I have PBO set to 5.1ghz and under 1.2v which honestly I find incredible. The fact that a CPU at this price point can keep up with the likes of the 7800X3D is pretty insane. @@theivadim Sir, i do play both competitive as well as AAA titles, thing is i cant buy 144op monitor asap cause of low budget. So i was thinking of sticking with 1080p gaming with my upcoming 4070s built for few months.
I think your build is great 👍 Ryzen 5 7600X is a good choice. I think you’ll be very happy one you get a 1440p monitor. I’ve done that upgrade and it felt good to have better pixel density. Everything looks better on a 1440p screen 🙂
gaming on a budget? this is a superb 1440p rigg, a "low budget" rigg is far from this, more like a gtx 1060-1650 and a i5 8400f or something. This is a superb pc for 1440p.
Could you say anything about VR? got a 7600x with 3080 atm and thinking of upgrading to a 4070 ti super. I play 99% DCS in VR. Thanks for your thoughts on this.
have a 32 inch 4k ips 144 hz monitor, do you think that if I play in 2k with this build the graphics performance will be affected? I don't want to change monitors because I saw that the 4070 super can also run 4K games very well with the help of DLSS, what do you think?
I don't see why not. I use the 4070 SUPER to play games on a 4K display using DLSS Quality or Balanced in the latest AAA games. It's a much more pleasant experience.
1440p resolution is not compatible with 4K screen pixel matrix. Fine details will look a bit wonky. Just use resolution upscaling (DLSS or FSR) to make your GPU display games at 4K if your GPU can't handle native 4K.
Oh there is a difference. Not in every game. But when it you'll come across one you'll wish you had the 7800X3D🙂 Just one example of the top of my head: Cyberpunk 2077 experience will not be smooth when you use the highest graphics preset. The 7600X is too weak to handle increased number of NPCs when crowd density is set to the highest. And those kind of issues pop up every now and then in other games. Not to mention that the 7600X is too weak to unlock full performance of the 4080 SUPER at high frame rates. Here is what I experienced when I paired the 7600X with a 4080 SUPER - th-cam.com/video/gLYX3c3HdfU/w-d-xo.html
Size mainly affects cooling capabilities. There’s very little difference in performance between the cheapest and most expensive 4070 SUPER models - 2-3% at most.
I've had it for a few months. No complaints. It's not silent. But I wouldn't call it noisy. Gets the job done without any annoyances. But if you can get VENTUS 3X or GAMING X SLIM for around the same price then I think it's worth choosing a 3-fan GPU.
I think i want to ask is the vram utilization maxing out when you use frame gen at 4k in ghost of tusima and allocating some vram to ram for that fps drop
Indeed, that is what appears to be happening. I ended up using DLSS Balanced, no frame generation to play this game at 4K using the 4070 SUPER. That is the best experience. No issues. Very smooth. Close to 90 FPS in many scenes.
@ Yes mate you did well. That’s the pc I would like to build. Just waiting for the right time for it. RTX 4070 super is the dream. Do you think there would be much difference between Ryzen 7500f and your 7600x?
There’s minimal difference in terms of real-world experience. Both CPUs are solid options, but I’d recommend trying to snag a good deal on the R7 7700 or 7700X instead - especially if you enjoy playing the latest open-world games where the CPU might become a bottleneck.
At that resolution, these cards should perform similarly on average. So, just pick the one you like best. I’d choose the 4070 SUPER because it uses less power.
My 5600 ,and 4070 is getting really low fps in cs2. 150-340fps @1080p low. I'm well aware of cpu bottleneck. But does upgrading my ram improve the performance somehow? I'm using a 2x8gb+2666mhz+cl19 ram. What if I upgrade to tridentz neo(3600mhz), how much will it improve?
RAM does offer some performance uplift. But it is not huge. The sensible thing to do would be to keep putting money aside to replace the CPU, motherboard and RAM together. Then you'll see and feel real difference. A worthy upgrade!🙂
On a budget? Are you serious? It's just not crazy expensive. I recommend the non X version bevause it's much cooler and it has basically the same performance.

are my components okay sir?
I think your build is great 👍 Ryzen 5 7600X is a good choice. I think you’ll be very happy one you get a 1440p monitor. I’ve done that upgrade and it felt good to have better pixel density. Everything looks better on a 1440p screen 🙂
@@theivadim thank you Sir!
I appreciate your swift reply.
love your works! keep grinding :)
gaming on a budget? this is a superb 1440p rigg, a "low budget" rigg is far from this, more like a gtx 1060-1650 and a i5 8400f or something. This is a superb pc for 1440p.
Could you say anything about VR? got a 7600x with 3080 atm and thinking of upgrading to a 4070 ti super. I play 99% DCS in VR. Thanks for your thoughts on this.
does 7600x bottleneck 4070 super? I hv the same build
Very slightly. More significant in productivity stuff than gaming
have a 32 inch 4k ips 144 hz monitor, do you think that if I play in 2k with this build the graphics performance will be affected? I don't want to change monitors because I saw that the 4070 super can also run 4K games very well with the help of DLSS, what do you think?
This build is well-suited for use with both 4K and 1440p monitors. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed gaming at both resolutions with this GPU.
all u need on the green team
For Ghost of Tsushima u must use DLAA the game will look way better but performances will decrease but believe me u won't regret it
Should i get 7700x or 7600x is worth the money?
I'd pick the 7700X to avoid tinkering with game settings in CPU-demanding games. But the 7600X is a pretty good option too.
Would you recommend it for 1080p gaming as well? I’m looking at that exact combination
I don't see why not. I use the 4070 SUPER to play games on a 4K display using DLSS Quality or Balanced in the latest AAA games. It's a much more pleasant experience.
@@theivadim Thank you! I’ve dropped a like and a subscribe
Good day,
how is the perfomance in Hellblade 2 Forest area??
So after running the tests, would you pick 7900 GRE or RTX 4070 SUPER to pair with Ryzen 5 7600X if the price of these cards is basically the same?
I like using resolution upscaling to boost performance. So, I don't want the 7900 GRE. I'll pick the 4070 SUPER every time. DLSS is great.
@@theivadim Hey, thanks for your answear and the videos
Hello vadim playing games at 1440p resolution on 4k monitor is good or bad , i mean how it looks compare to the native 1440p screen 🤔
1440p resolution is not compatible with 4K screen pixel matrix. Fine details will look a bit wonky. Just use resolution upscaling (DLSS or FSR) to make your GPU display games at 4K if your GPU can't handle native 4K.
What do you think about getting this cpu with rtx 4080 super for 1440p gaming ?
Get the 7800X3D instead. To ensure that you won't have to make any compromises.
@@theivadim thanks a lot I was thinking about 7800x3D but I thought that It wouldn't be much difference between these two CPUs
Why is the gpu tiny does it affect performance compared to rog cards?
Size mainly affects cooling capabilities. There’s very little difference in performance between the cheapest and most expensive 4070 SUPER models - 2-3% at most.
what abt psu how many watts are u using under load ?
That brightness setting is going to fry your eyes tho.
I want to buy rtx4070 ti super with the 7600x , can i use the b650m or i need b650 ? Also will there be bottleneck,
I am using b650m no problem with 7600 and 4070 ti super
1440p gaming
If you have budget get better mobo
bro.. you need to testing game performance with Alan Wake 2....
Upgrading to i7 13700k from 12400f!
Nice! I hope you have a good GPU to match that upgrade?
@@theivadim yup 4070 ti super
Very nice!🙂 Enjoy it
Bro msi 4070 super vent 2x good card? It is noisy?
I've had it for a few months. No complaints. It's not silent. But I wouldn't call it noisy. Gets the job done without any annoyances. But if you can get VENTUS 3X or GAMING X SLIM for around the same price then I think it's worth choosing a 3-fan GPU.
How will the ryzen 5 7600x pair with rtx 4070ti? I am looking to build a pc, somebody pls answer.
It’s roughly the same as with the 4070 SUPER that you saw in this video-fine for the most part, but the same limitations still apply.
Your pc is loud?
This one in the video? Not at all.
Relaxing video
Delighted to hear that! It means a lot - thank you!”
Msi rtx 4070 super ventus 3x Oc or RX amd 7900 gre ??
What monitor resolution do you plan to use with it?
@@theivadim full HD 1080p 250hz
At that resolution, these cards should perform similarly on average. So, just pick the one you like best. I’d choose the 4070 SUPER because it uses less power.
Try bf2042 how it works on this setup
That is an interesting question. BF games usually are very CPU heavy. I'll give it a try later.
@@theivadim okk thanks brother 😊
My 5600 ,and 4070 is getting really low fps in cs2. 150-340fps @1080p low. I'm well aware of cpu bottleneck. But does upgrading my ram improve the performance somehow?
I'm using a 2x8gb+2666mhz+cl19 ram.
What if I upgrade to tridentz neo(3600mhz), how much will it improve?
RAM does offer some performance uplift. But it is not huge. The sensible thing to do would be to keep putting money aside to replace the CPU, motherboard and RAM together. Then you'll see and feel real difference. A worthy upgrade!🙂
upgrade that 5600 to a 5800x3d and you will see a huge difference
can it be played on 1080p
Up coz we cheap dont have budget yet for 1440p monitor
On budget?!
Pcgaming in 2025
No hay información sobre el 7600x, ni a qué % trabaja, si llega justo, si va sobrado… al menos % de trabajo del procesador sería bueno.
What momitor is this
It’s an MSI monitor. You can find the link and model name in the video description.
Ryzen 7600 good enough even for the 4080super literally few fps difference.
no liquid cooler
Liquid coolers are trash
14900k is the only cpu that needs aio
10400f to 7500f how much faster
On a budget? Are you serious? It's just not crazy expensive.
I recommend the non X version bevause it's much cooler and it has basically the same performance.
In 1440p you wouldn't notice the bottleneck at all
U can pair that cpu up to 4090
Not really. I wouldn't pair it with anything above the 4070 SUPER. I recently tried the 4080 SUPER with this CPU. The experience was disappointing.
@@theivadim damn, i have 7900xt and this one expirience is very good it fits perfectly.
