I was looking for a comment about this. Their love has always been able to melt my cold hardened heart. All of it is just so fucking wholesome. They way they met, the story, the way they talked over skype for an entire year and she would fall asleep to him playing the guitar, then the way she moved out here and the struggle they had (the red pepper story is just amazing), and them finally finding success with video creation, and that enabling her to follow her dream of creating a clothing line that's completely separate from their channel and has still been so amazingly successful. And the very clear but attempted on-camera restraint he shows his love for her with.

From a lawyers perspective: This is ofcourse a sensitive matter. When or if Seth ever seeks legal action, he will win, the videos online proves that he clearly didnt give consent. By law he wasnt actually sexually assaulted, but he was degraded on a public scale, defamation of character and digital identity theft. He only gave consent to kiss corinna and they upload it. If there is no evidence that proves he gives consent to kiss Jason and let them upload to the platform. David really will be facing some serious charges if Seth sues. People get 15 years for these crimes. David should spend time in Jail or give up everything he has. The court of law will make their voice heard. They dont like people that do these things.

True but I think in general it’s tough for men to come out with their own SA experiences because men often think people will either make fun of them or not take it seriously. So I’m not really surprised that he took awhile to speak out. I’m hoping that he can receive some sort of justice though :(

LET ME KNOW IF ANYONE HAS THE SAME STANCE AS ME ON THIS:
What David and Jason did is absolutely inexcusable and David absolutely without a doubt has to acknowledge it. Even an in person apology to Seth without cameras (which is what I think is the most humane and appropriate course of action is considering the topic) is better than not saying anything at all. HOWEVER, I also hate hate hate cancel culture and would be sooo disappointed if his whole career was destroyed from this. A lot of people in life make really really horrible choices and hurt people in their lives but it's if you can prove you have grown or changed from those mistakes that matters. Obviously if David still stands by this "prank" then no there is no need to continue to follow him. But any kind of acknowledgement and genuine regret for his mistake could at least help Seth heal. Like Ethan said all David knows is being on top of the world and I think right now he is just stuck in his happy bubble but he has to step back and realise that the chaos around him that occurs in order to make the successful career he has. Has impacted a few people along the way. Overall though I feel as though this is still salvagleable he just needs to do the right thing and then go forward learning from this
