I’m so glad Trisha is on here and is open about her mental health. My brother committed suicide not long after he left the military at the age of 26, and now several years later I find myself with a lot of the same issues he had, on top of the depression and anxiety that comes from losing him. Throw in my job and the BS I deal with there as a paramedic, I had a mental breakdown at work today and don’t even know if I’ll have a job anymore when I come in tomorrow. I don’t talk to my family. I cut out all of my friends a few years ago, so literally this podcast is like the only place that I can come to to feel good, even if it’s only for a couple hours a day. I don’t even know why I’m dropping all this on a TH-cam comment like a loser. Guess I just wanted to get it off my chest since I really have nowhere else to turn and I’m tired of just saying it to myself all day.
find peace in the little things, like an ice cream or a good nap, until you calm yourself and be ready to look for help.

You have had a bad day in what I’d imagine has been a hard life lately. You have gone thru more then most people have. So Having hard days seems normal to me. For one .. you are working Not everyone could. And you aren’t in denial about your mental health 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. Another good thing.
I know for me being single for the first time in my life now 5 years ( have been focusing on my 16year old daughter since the split, there was abuse etc. And loving myself single ) and having to stay home with lockdown,and my daughter often gone to her friends, I find myself writing more online and if I’m ever with a another adult boy lol I don’t stop talking lol. It’s bad lol. So I think opening up is normal lol :).
I love this channel too. Was a big fan of Trisha’s and now Ethan and crew Makes me laugh so hard lol. I’m glad you enjoy it too :).

Hi Bobby! Sorry to hear you've been feeling so isolated, stressed, and overwhelmed. Being a paramedic is a very hard, often thankless job. You're under high stress for at least 10-12 hours a day, underpaid, chronically understaffed, and barely get breaks sometimes. You deal with medical emergencies, psych patients, agitated/aggressive people, etc. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I've worked in the emergency department, working 12 hour shifts, and see you guys going through the ringer. I admit, I have felt compassion fatigue a lot from working in a setting like that. If you're able to, take some time off, get EAP counseling that's offered with your job, and if you feel the overwhelming sense of dread coming to work every way, it's honestly okay to leave your job, and search for something else, if your mental health is deteriorating. You can even stay in the medical side, but work a different position, or department within a hospital. Keep your head up. You having a mental breakdown at work is a sign that you're overworked, stressed, and need to scale back hours, take a vacation, or look for another realm of work. I had to do that same after working 9 years in the ER. I actually work in a jail now. Good luck. I hope you're able to find some peace and longer term stress relief solution soon.
You're not a loser. We all experience difficulties in our lives and there is no shame in admitting that you are struggling, in fact, being able to confront that you are struggling is a sign of strength. I'm sorry for your loss, and I hope that love and peace find their way into your life soon.

If you've seen Mike "explain" why he's okay with Lana Rhoades' "past", it can basically be boiled down to: "I've done much worse" and "other women are the same except for lack of video evidence". It's not that he doesn't consider what Lana did as acceptable or that he doesn't judge her for it - it's more that she's only as trashy as everyone else.
