Great video y'all. Props to Vanquest for the orange material inside the bag, which makes it much easier to find stuff. Other companies should take note of that great feature.
I am also in a wheelchair, but for a bag I got a waterproof messenger bag. And because I live in Asia, I carry everything I might need or want with me. Almost all of my pants and jackets are 6 pocket, and I have everything with belt clips, lanyards, etc. Lol, way to difficult to replace items here.
I used to be in a wheelchair and I went through backpacks so quickly until I changed to one made out of nylon. That backpack which I got at 14 is still being used regularly now 10 years later with almost no signs of wear. I've only replaced the main zipper pulls on it and that was just preventative maintenance because they started fraying. I remember my mom was against the idea because it was expensive and I argued that it would last. It outlived the claim I thought was a lot by double so far. I kind of want to give it to my little brother to see just how long it can last.
I carry a rain coat that stuffs into it's own pocket and a shemagh in my bag. Both have come in handy especially having kiddos. The shemagh has acted as a blanket more than once.
I have the vertx commuter sling and keep a maxpedition pouch on the Molly under the flap with a full first aid kit, plus otc meds, tourniquet, marker, and shears outside the pouch on the Molly itself. You’d be surprised how often I’ve actually used that kit, not for anything big but smaller stuff. Also keep water tabs and a filter just in case

Great stuff. You should probably look into carrying some more knives. I didn't see a butter knife, fish knife, or a salad knife. What if you find yourself at a formal dinner? Anyway keep up the good content.
I use the Fieldline Pro Series sling bag. It's small, but it's got so many points to attach stuff to. So a few trips to military surplus, and I've expanded my bag

How about a review of the Leatherman Sidekick? It's my daily multitool and I absolutely love it! You can usually pick one up at your local Tractor Supply Co

I have had to repair the slip because it broke due to the weight. My issue is every time I downsize (Minimal) I find that I need the things that I took out of the bag. Still working on this one! So, I am watching a bunch of these videos.
Love the channel. I upgraded from an Intel Macbook Pro 16 to the newer Macbook Pro 14 with the Apple silicon (M1) I highly recommend the upgrade. You can pick one up for a good deal now.
You should give the Vertx Ready Pack 2.0 a shot, it's a larger bag but I believe it would be right up your ally even though I don't know if you conceal carry. I absolutely love mine!
Sometimes i think back to when i first got into edc and knives, and was watching your videos when you used a kershaw shuffle DIY. Was a different time haha
I recently upgraded my EDC bag, and you are totally right. Got a Condor Venture 27.5 bag… as soon as I got a chance I filled it with. A bunch of stuff I will never need. Still figuring it out
General rule, whatever is in my bag is a compliment to what’s in my pocket. Small knaf (or 3) in my pocket, bigger knaf in bag. Leatherman Juice S2 complimented by either Knipex or a wide array of leatherman or Gerbers I can choose from. (These might have a bigger knaf on them and I skip carrying a dedicated one.) Phone complimented by laptop and tablet, chargers for all obv, and maybe a short 3-4ft extension cord with a ground because not all outlets play nice. (Really my main issue.) Power bank for when I can’t get to an outlet. Junk pens to loan out so my nice one doesn’t leave my shirt pocket. An extra carabiner or two because hanging things is useful. A bigger flashlight because walking in the dark with a dead flashlight is terrible. That concludes things that get rotated for EDC. Kind of what I would consider a cargo pants EDC. Personally I also pack a tshirt, underwear and socks. As well as the Dude wipes shower towelettes, deodorant and a tiny thing of cologne, a toothbrush, and small tube of toothpaste. I sweat heavy and don’t like smelling. If you’re carrying a backpack you should carry hygiene items anyways imo. But that’s 50% the REASON I’m carrying it. Keep me from having to walk or Uber all the way back to my vehicle because I decided to save $30 and walk 5 miles. I really haven’t started just packing things in because they fit. Things are heavy and I like having some room so I can fit something I stop at a store and buy and not really worry about where I’m going to squeeze it into my bag.
I usually edc a Fjallraven Singi 20, it's about the right size and I already had the accessory pouches and pockets from my Singi 48 so I can swap out what I need and don't need
Love the video! ... I carry a Saddleback Leather for my shoulder bag (work), satchel (EDC) and backpack (travel) ... Might be a little heavy but they will most likely outlast me if I take care of them.

Great channel and TY for all the shares valuable info for this topic. Here is my dilemma, Seeking best way to carry items on person since I suffer a stroke and I am impaired somewhat.
