    Great I already bought it. My hands severely painfully fall asleep. And was praying this will help. Thanks for the heads up! Great vid and info!! Hopefully it needs to go through a little break in period!! 😢

    Awesome man! I’m putting the same mounts on mine with the Scott’s on my 250 race edition!

    Fasst Flex Bars might be a better option, they come in many different bends/sweep and also have different durometer. I used them on a buzzy thumper, quite effective but didn’t totally eliminate vibration. Fasst also do good Bar end dampeners if you want to spend less

    BRP is specifically for the scott steering stabilizer

    I love this review. It's pretty clear that you are a straight shooting guy and I love your observations on your test run. I would put stock in anything you had to say. Having said that, here is very personal opinion on these. I run the BRP mounts for a couple different reasons but mostly the hand guard mounts are super tough and look amazing. The second thing is I am also in love with is I am a very tall guy and not a spring chicken. The bars are naturally raised with the typical rubber inserts but you can buy a riser kit with those that goes another 10mm. It is perfect for me and it just looks cleaner than all the Frankenstein crap I would build up to accommodate my height. Also like you pointed out, you get to reclaim some of your handlebar for the hand guard clamps. We ride in mostly single track trail in the mountains on some very rocky/rooty stuff. So I use anything I can to lessen vibration or jarring. Keeping up with the younger riders is a bitch! haha. Anyway, Thanks for this review! I really enjoyed watching it!!

      Yes I do really like the hand guard clamps and now that I have the steering stabilizer I just like the whole look of the set up. I’m 6’1’ myself and 41 years old. Everyone I ride with is younger and I’ll try anything to give me just a little bit of an edge this wasn’t it. But if you don’t have a pair get a pair of stag pegs. They are a damn game changer.

      @@sxsmarine4075 I will look into the Pegs. I used to get moose lowered pegs back in the day but back in 2020 KTM lowered their XC's so much that I would be hitting everything. So I have left the pegs alone.
      ( I see what you are talking about now. They are to grip with your calves, not for standing on with your feet.) Thats pretty cool!
      Thanks for the tip!!

    First off, wow what an awesome place to ride! Thanks for the honest review I’ll pass on this product. One thing you might want to try is Risk Racing palm protectors. They are cheap and add a little cushion for your hands which helps take away vibration. I’ve been running them for years now and don’t ride without them.

    Good review. I’m 6’2” 250 and have been researching these for the last week. I’ll probably pass on them now.

    Those trails are practically paved... I wouldn't expect to feel a difference.

    Great review, as for your hands going to sleep. You more than likely have Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. Where your subclavian artery is being compressed against your Pec. Minor muscle while you are riding. To test this does your hands go to sleep if you drive with your hand on the top of the steering wheel of your truck? Im guessing yes, Start stretching your pec. minor muscles and strengthen your rhomboids to pull your shoulders girdle posterior.

    Thanks for the honest review, saved me some money! What's the impression of the Scott steering dampener? Worth it?

    • @sxsmarine4075
      @sxsmarine4075  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I believe the Scotts steering dampener can definitely be beneficial. you might not know it’s there and think it’s not doing anything but when you take a hard-hit from a tree on your bars it has definitely saved my ass from a bad wreck. I have had one all this year and really glad it’s there.

      Well don’t be mad the hole product is rubbish and I payed for it. It holds your bars and that’s it.
