    Love the number plate sticker! Speaking of stickers...still waiting patiently. Now I have to find and watch your off-road vids. Looking forward to that and the stabilizer review! I like these 'Back in the Garage' videos!

      Did you shoot me an email (2wheeledriderdotcom@gmail.com) with your address for stickers? If so, I may have missed it. Should have a stabilizer review and update video shot soon. Glad you're enjoying the Back in the Garage videos. Have plenty coming up this winter.

    At 6:26 on your tutorial you are, I think, demonstrating that the lower bearing was exposed. Does this mean that your strap around the front wheel slipped a little bit? Camera angle doesn't show it. You needed to use the steering bearing adjustment bolt to suck everything back together(?) Thanks a lot for the installation video. Will be installing Scotts stabilizer this weekend on my '22 exc-f 👍

    Curious why not just remove the forks so you can just be sure everything is squared up and parallel?
    Also, that way you can clean and repack both upper and lower head tube bearings

    Never rode with one, what do they do for you?

    • @2WR

      In the simplest terms, it keeps sudden impacts from jerking the handlebars left or right. Think of it like suspension for your steering. Good units are full customizable so you can set it up for your riding conditions.

    Very thorough Mario, w/out dragging it out too much. Making note of little things like which way do gaskets & O-rings go back on, can save from a big ol headache! Funny, the tension bolt for bearings, looks a lot like a drain-plug.

      @2WR  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Appreciate it and agree it does look like a drain plug

    I saw what you did there. Maybe more of a more of a McGrath fan than a Carmichael fan? Interesting vid and I'm curious on how much a steering damper helps us mere mortal riders.

      Always irritates me when then call RC the GOAT during a SX broadcast (5 v 7 titles). Great SX/MX racer but McGrath is the Valentino Rossi of SX

    Great video. Professional work.
    Excuse me for a newbie question: do stabilizers make sense on road 650ccm bikes?

    • @2WR
      @2WR  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Really depends on the application. For racing? yes Street? really depends. If the bike is handling well, I don't know that I'd fool with it.

      @2WR  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh the "tin"...yea you either need the one that's more shallow or take a file to your factory one.
