I just saw this video today, and the beginning hit me, I started mountain biking a couple months ago during quarantine, and I have found my new passion. I am on the younger end as a teenager, and so thankful that I started it. To me it has been one of the only things that really make me happy, and so happy that the community is so nice. This guy is the person who I think should be like the face of mountain biking, he's the perfect example of who you should think of when someone brings up mountain biking.
I stay watching Gee Milner and Joes bike builds, but never has watching a bike build hit me right in the feels. Great job building something meaningful for some one deserving.

@@oldshovel I must give you one more thank you. Dec 5th 2020 I checked myself into rehab and for the first time ever in my adult life I got clean. I'm closing in on my two month mark. It's really cool. Your videos have helped me through all the boredom and doubt on where I wanted to see myself in my optimistic future. Bikes are a big part of my life now and your videos and positive attitude make me so greatful that I stumbled upon your chanel. Just wondering but, when I hit a 6 months or 1 year clean would there ever be a way I could meet you and mabey hangout with you when you build up a bike? Just a thought. I know you're busy but again your build videos are more serene than you know. Thanks again for being my hero!

We were dirt poor when I was a kid. In the early to mid 90s I'd stand outside the custom bike boutiques in Wandsworth and Kingston and freak out over the Konas, Marins, GTs and Cannondales for hours.
They literally seemed unattainable, I couldn't comprehend the prices, but it didn't stop me going there to dream. I was obsessed with them.
That's how much this means to Carson at this stage in his life.

just like my dad did to me, he gave me a bicycle as a gift 8 years ago, now I am 18 years old and I still own the bicycle. I miss you dad. Now due to old age, the bicycle fork was damaged but I was saving to replace it with a new one😌❤

I love your outstanding appreciation for bikes, but more importantly for those who don’t have the luxury of getting what they want because of hardships. I help my neighbors rebuild their bikes when they need it, and I’m not in it for the money either. I just do it because it’s what I love to do. Great video sir!
