Uhmm, I actually tried the preview version for 6 months, I didn't care for it. When used folded it was like holding a brick because it was too thick. And I never found myself opening it because I didn't need to. I want a thin phone, not a brick that turns into a mini tablet. To each their own based on their needs, it's not about iphone people or samsung people, it's about individual needs.
It gets old after a while, no matter what the new iteration is, always feels off. Battery usually sucks, it's an awkward size where it's too small to replace a tablet but awkward to hold on hand (you have to use two hands to open your phone) and the cameras suck. This is coming from a Z Fold 2, Z Fold 3 and Z Fold 4, now a OnePlus Open user. The OnePlus is the longest I've kept a foldable. But about a month, I usually switch back to my 15PM.
I switched to the z fold 5 after being a lifetime ios user and I couldn't be more happy. I didn't really miss anything as you can get imessage using blue bubbles on android. You will not regret getting this phone
I love my z fold 5, was getting bored of same candy bar form factor. Even though not comparable to weird form factors nokia used to come up with in past, like the communicators or ngage, still spicing up things.
$1900 is just too much for a tablet. As for the phone, I'm going with a Moto Razr 2024. $700 is the perfect price for a modern day flip phone. Non-flip phones should always be under $500. Everything has an optimal price.
I'm currently using the razor now and waiting on my zfold 6. I suggest spending the extra money. My razor is noticeably a cheap android phone with some high quality traits. Just in my opinion this phone I'm currently using was a waist of money and more comparable to a 100 dollar android then a flagship device. The galaxy flip isn't actually that much more then the razor and well worth the extra money to have a high quality phone. Just trying to help you not make the mistake I made.
I love the design of 6 more, but there is no discount this time around and doesn't go well with price increase. I got zfold5 on lauch day last year for 1350usd when trading in 5 year old 300$phone.
I look forward to all your video and the quality of your videos are always the best. Keep up the great work! That thumbnail though-why do channels continue to do that? It is literally insulting the viewers. I would prefer you simply held up both phones, one in each hand instead of that pose. Just sayin'
I did not know that the Z Fold 6 was going to come out, one month after I bought my Z Fold 5.can I do any upgrades on my Z5 to make it upgraded to almost a Z6?
what does that mean ? are you asking if you can upgrade a toyota corolla to a toyota prius? it has different specs, the screens are rectangular, which is a nice touch...z fold 5 is good enough....although you probably overpaid for the device, considering a new one is released...thats why you always check when the next tech upgrade is coming out before you go out and spend your dollar. technology becomes obsolete over night.
The Z Fold 5 is a steal at its current price. No need to upgrade. The phone is practically the same as the newer ones. The newer ones just comes in a boxier shape and with the newer processor. Other than that, they're basically the same.
Hello! I have the s22 ultra and I already want to change. I always wanted a foldable and I don't know whether to go for the fold 6 or the fold 5. In Peru Samsung is selling the 500GB fold 5 for 1450 USD. The price of the new fold has not yet been released but there will be a big difference. What do you recommend me? I have seen that there are not many differences that are worth the price difference
Not sure why you ask strangers for advice when you know just as much as they do. This year there's barely any differences. Look at the specs and decide for yourself if the newer one is worth it to you.
I just don't know why Samsung doesn't put a bigger battery in when all other Chinese foldable phones have a much bigger battery while still lighter and thinner.
@@5h4m0n3 it would be great if they put in a bigger battery with software optimisation for the battery equipped with 100W fast charge. That would be worth the price tag they want it for.
@@jermainemouzon4909 the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro has a 5700mAh battery and has a screen on time of about 9 hours. The Z Fold 6 has a screen on time of about 6 hours. Not sure what you're talking about.
Everybody has their choice of which phone is better for their likings. But, the z fold imo is definitely not worth the price tag! Oneplus open along with other Chinese phones are better and with a less expensive price tag. And I'm a samuung s23 ultra user along with the oneplus open as well.
*SAMSUNG FOLD :* Not Slim / No Pen / Not even good Camera / Visible crease / Brightness ehh 😏 OK NO PROBLEM But atleast give bigger battery, dont mind even if its 200mAh less than Vivo x Fold Pro 3

You can also snap a selfie by unfolding the phone and using the front screen and the rear cameras. Use the best cameras on the phone!!
Exactly!
Iphone user thinking about switching but afraid not adapting.
Price is a big no though … 2K for a phone

Very informative video & great camera presence!

The same problem here hehe

I notice the Fold 5 inside screen is more vibrant. The color pop more and brighter. Can someone confirm?

They gave last year's hardware by increasing 100$ tell me how is this not a scam.
Have a good day Anthony 🌹
I have an s22. Should I upgrade?
I'm upgrading from the s22. Hope I made the right choice 😬. I think they gave me 650 trade-in for the s22
I got my zfold 6 yesterday. Love it so far. Screen is unmatched in my opinion

2,000$ for a phone should be a crime.

The going for software optimization on Samsung. Makes the battery last long compared to just having a bigger battery.

I stopped watching the video after you mentioned price. Wow. No thank you.
Copy and paste 😂😂😂 I’ll just stick with my fold 4 which has power button that can do shortcuts unlike the fold 5&6 😅
My 5 does shortcuts?
Least now there are no creases of the screens and it’s slimmer like the s24 ultra

Every folding phone develops a crease after use. There are no creaseless foldables.
Going to wait on pixel and one+'s new fold.
Pixels fold 2 leaks look promising, unfortunately it's still going to have one of those trash tensor soc's.

The hinge from the 4 to the 5 makes a huge difference. Go find a discounted Fold 5 and be happy for another two years.
