We live in Lancaster and love Shady Maple. Fun fact - if you go with a paying adult on your birthday- you’re free! And they have a great gift shop downstairs
All that homemade tasting comfort food and some Asian persuasion on your arm.....you're living the dream Stevie!!! A peaceful and prosperous future to you and yours for the New Year brother!
Jean is the best baby ! What an adorable child . I have an Amish market , 5 miles from my house . I get roast beef and roast chicken , at least 4 times a month . Worth every penny ! Also , the sticky buns and cream donuts are unmatched . 😉
I've waited upwards of two hours to get into places like Der Dutchman, Boyd & Wurthmann, and Berlin Homestead. Truly incredible food here in Ohio's Amish Country.
So glad I found your channel ❤ I live in Delaware State, so about an hr from here. You are making me want to take a trip!!! Amish food is DELICIOUS! We actually buy all our meat at our local Farmers market. It is so fresh ! Im so glad u experienced this 😊
Love you guys.....blow your mind again.....try mixing the milk shake with your favorite slushy....Gelato like. You can create your own meals too....example, get grilled chicken...ham from grill carving station....add cheese sauce or your favorite cheese. Make Mac and cheese with pulled pork mix. Even as simple as Mac cheese and broccoli.....get creative every trip!
You both made me laugh throughout this video. You both were in food heaven!! And the price was right. Many, many choices. Think you both got your monies worth!! ❤
Oh Steve, how far you have come from the "boneless, skinless" chicken and "blue box" mac & cheese eater of a few years ago...see what travel does to you!
This place looks awesome! Great value for what’s provided. A typical very standard run of the mill Chinese buffet near me will run like $18 a person and this looks MUCH better!
I would go there 35 years ago in a different building on Tuesday night was seafood night. 13.99 included peel and eat shrimp, whitefish filets cooked to your specs right in front of you and tons more!! I didn't know how good we had it then!!!!
Yes, $22 is very reasonable for a buffet especially as nice as this one looks. I can get decent buffets where I am for about $18 but this place looks a bit better than 'decent'. This looks top tier.
I go to this buffet twice a year, and then we go to The Sight and Sound Theater. They put on wonderful Biblical productions (imagine sheep, camels, horses, etc, running down the aisle to the stage), anyways really good, fresh food. Every cut of beef, tender and delicious. There is so much to eat, and I can never finish my whole plate!!
It’s not Amish food. It’s Pennsylvania Dutch food. And Amish don’t own the place either. It’s owned by a Mennonite family. I live about 45 minutes from the place
That cheesesteak is a traditional Lancaster county version. I always forget not everyone puts marinara on a cheesesteak, other places its called a "pizza steak" 😂
@4:05 That cheesesteak looks solid if you say the cheese was mixed in with the beef, that's how you know it was cooked properly. It's a pass for sure. But you say ground beef? you sure it's not just really chopped up ribeye? Many places do that. Though I can't say I ever had one at the Smoragsbord, but it's been 20 years.
They serve PA Dutch food, which is not Amish food. PA Dutch encompasses many groups in the region. It is not just Amish. I am of PA Dutch heritage, born and raised in Eastern PA, but not Amish.
Personally far better than Miller's and I even think better than this one is Dienner's in Ronks. Not only are almost all employees Amish or Mennonite, it's owned by Mennonites and it's the only restaurant in the area where I've actually seen Amish eating as customers. Slightly less choices, but amazing quality. And things that you think are run of the mill Are off the charts delicious. I took about a tablespoon full of tapioca pudding & went back to get a bowl. I don't know how they made it that good but I still dream of it. There was definitely real cream in it. Can't wait to go back but now I'm a very long ride away
It may be that many "entrprenual" Amish are actually Mennonites. While the two groups are similar, the Menonnites tend to be more extroverted in their endeavors, creating outside businesses and participating in the outside world. "Amish" is literally a trademark term most are familiar with and trust so the Mennonites just roll with it. This is my personal conjecture so I could be wrong.
@JetLagWarriors Ha...LOL..😂! I know about '2 Chains,' I wonder if any of your other viewers do? You have a beautiful family; and I love how you love them! Happy New Year and God Bless You!🙏🙌❤️👍👏🥂🍾
You guys are a really nice couple and your baby is adorable!
We live in Lancaster and love Shady Maple. Fun fact - if you go with a paying adult on your birthday- you’re free! And they have a great gift shop downstairs
I miss that place. I used to work nearby and have xmas parties or team building over there. There is food for everyone. And the desserts...yum.
All that homemade tasting comfort food and some Asian persuasion on your arm.....you're living the dream Stevie!!! A peaceful and prosperous future to you and yours for the New Year brother!
Your baby is so cute!!!! And what a good girl ❤
You three will have fun wherever you go!!❤
Your baby is adorable 😍
I live in Pennsylvania and I have never been there but heard of it many times. I need to go
Family, friends, food, what's not to like. Happy new year from down under
Happy New Year🎉

The baby's hair!!! ❤❤😂❤❤

Love this kind of food !!
❤🎉

Love how you guys are so open and real about everything! ❤❤❤

This food looks gorgeous. $22 per person is very reasonable for all you can eat. Enjoy.
I'm going to have to check this place out! The Amish really know how to cook! Everything looked delicious 😋
Enjoy the moments around
The Amish can cook. Period.
Eh. They’re food is ok, baked goods mediocre, underbaked every time I’ve had it. And Amish are not doing the cooking at Shady Maple.
Chew your food Steve, chew!! 😅
LOL Maybe chewing can be my new years resolution
I assume the Amish don't add all the crap that RFK Jr wants out of American foods. Probably the healthiest meal you've eaten.
Ok i cant watch. Making me hungry. Let me fast forward to see Baby Jean.
Gotta put that on my bucket list . PA and that Smorgasboard place
wow looked good and given all you can eat the price is good. I would go there with a backpack and bring some of those nice goodies home
It’s a nice drive out from Philly. I love the breakfast there. I hope you got to visit other places in the state.
Great video! Wish I lived near there, would love to try it. Your baby is absolutely gorgeous!
Wish you and your family a Happy New Year.
Baby is sooo cute
Happy New Year Steve, Ivana and baby Jean
Yessss get that shake
I’ve been there, and the food is awesome. There’s a great Amish sandwich maker in the area as well.
Oh Steve, how far you have come from the "boneless, skinless" chicken and "blue box" mac & cheese eater of a few years ago...see what travel does to you!

Jean is such good baby.
Back in the day when I worked at a gas station market a guy would put soft serve ice cream mix in his coffee every morning. I tried it, way too good
Shady Maple is my favorite pig out spot. Roast beef to die 4
I would go there 35 years ago in a different building on Tuesday night was seafood night. 13.99 included peel and eat shrimp, whitefish filets cooked to your specs right in front of you and tons more!! I didn't know how good we had it then!!!!
Good thing its a buffet, she's setting dominance like crazy, thats her plate and she's letting you know 😂. Get your fill girl but let him eat too.
The best buffet is Deiner’s. They have homemade noodles. Food is delish.
Yep another good choice.
would love to try that next time!
We will be going here on my Birthday on the 23rd which is rib and wing night!❤
Thanks!
Food looks really delicious!
Man that food looks amazing!❤
Hu, Ha. She Said Meatballs.
Shut Up, Beavis!!
I ate there once everything was good and a massive variety of food
Yes, $22 is very reasonable for a buffet especially as nice as this one looks. I can get decent buffets where I am for about $18 but this place looks a bit better than 'decent'. This looks top tier.
I'm so hungry now....😋😋😋
coffee with icecream is also called affogato, its very common in italy!
Happy new year Steve ♡ Ivana,,baby enjoy your travel 😊 let's explore ahead 🌄 😀
Thanks! Happy New Year to you too! And we can't wait to explore more! 😊
You picked a good variety
Oh New i get hungry 🤤
Amish food looks so simple but delicious
It's all whole foods with all biotactive B vitamins less some of the deserts etc.
Cheesesteak is not whole or chunks of steak. Its finely shaved and usually chopped while on the griddle.
Great place! Their ice cream is prob from Lapp valley farms! Whoopie pie is very Amish.
Jos Louis in Canada look like Whoopie pies but taste better imo😊
Happy new year to you and your family
Looks so yummy

Yams are sweet potatoes
Food looks good. Good place to get stuck during a snow storm I reckon.
Emily Post is the one who disliked this video. 😂. Looks delicious and I do not blame y’all one bit!!!!
Your wife is funny and a Gem
Happy New Year 🎉
Happy New Year to you too!
The brisket is long baked or slow cooker made.
I am not a fan of smoked ( unless it’s whitefish!)
Went to Miller's smorgasbord also in the Lancaster area..very good food reservations recommended
Love Amish for saving usa.
Yes... they played a pivotal role in this last election, for sure. I'm on board with the Amish
I dont eat the day b4 i go. So i can chow down.
It’s not Amish food. It’s Pennsylvania Dutch food. And Amish don’t own the place either. It’s owned by a Mennonite family. I live about 45 minutes from the place
Hmm.. I think I saw the romanian vloggers from ,,HaiHui in doi'' visiting / eating in this place too 😁 They had a few videos in the US amish area.
That cheesesteak is a traditional Lancaster county version. I always forget not everyone puts marinara on a cheesesteak, other places its called a "pizza steak" 😂
Bet you both were hyper off the coffee and sugar lol which probably countacted the meat 😋😋😋
Happy new year guys. Best wishes for 2025🎉🎉🎉.
Amish food is so delicious. I Lancaster PA❤❤❤😊

Though I can't say I ever had one at the Smoragsbord, but it's been 20 years.
Typically a meatball sandwich isn't mistaken for a cheese steak lol that had me laughing
That’s about an hour away from me. I might have to go check them out
What a lovely dude. New sub from sweden here!
Looks good
The baby is soooooooo cute.
They serve PA Dutch food, which is not Amish food. PA Dutch encompasses many groups in the region. It is not just Amish. I am of PA Dutch heritage, born and raised in Eastern PA, but not Amish.
If you’re going to share something, you should let your wife try it first! Come on, where is the chivalry? ❤😂
I think that food looks boring and unhealthy but I am glad you had so much fun 🤗
Jean is SO CUTE!
And the coffee milkshake 😋 YUM
The brisket looks tough. We can cut our Texas brisket with a plastic fork and knife.
Whoopie pies are definitely a PA Dutch/Amish food!
FALSE! Invented in Maine
Happy new year
Hi Lovely couple and beautiful baby! I just subscribed.
Try the Miller Smorgasbord Buffet on route 30. The buffet price is more, but the quality of the food is better. Happy New Year.
That's good 2 in a pinch.
We are definitely going to add that to our list of places to try!
Personally far better than Miller's and I even think better than this one is Dienner's in Ronks. Not only are almost all employees Amish or Mennonite, it's owned by Mennonites and it's the only restaurant in the area where I've actually seen Amish eating as customers.

Jean looks like Steve
I would love to eat at this AMISH RESTAURANT .. that price is responsible, I would have my dinner there every night ❤
If your waist can afford it!😂
same!! Try it when you get the chance😊
I wonder if Abner got that shoutout.

Okiedokie let's eat 🍴
The baby is so quiet
Jean is amazing❤😊
Happy New Year and La multi ani in 2025
No drink?
Worth the drive and worth money. Been there many times. And on your birthday you get to eat for free, just show your ID.
Where is this place
East Earl PA in Lancaster County
Putting ice cream (or thick milkshake) in your (very strong) coffee is a German thing. That's what we call iced coffee (Eiskaffee).
Interesting! We learned something new.
Sorry for being nosy but why do you guys wear 2 wedding rings?
One is for our wedding in Canada and one is for our wedding in Indonesia.
2 raaaangz!! (2 chainz voice)
@JetLagWarriors
