- Elden Ring but it's on PS2, which is actually Eternal Ring on PS2...
Both titles have waaay too similar names and as such, may have ties between the two games.
Will Eternal Ring be some sort of weird predecessor to Elden Ring?

Eternal Ring was my first PS2 game. That and Red Faction. Ah, those were the days back in the 2000s.
I thought Elden ring would be a spiritual successor to Eternal ring and got really excited. I had this as a kid but no memory card xD. I still hope it is but im excited for Elden either way.
If it doesn't at least have some sort of Eternal Ring tie in or reference, I'd be disappointed. 🤔

The game uses tank controls because that was the control system of the previous From Software games like King's Field. As such the devs weren't really familiar with analog controls. The game was a launch title for the ps2. Being the very first rpg to release on the console. However, the game was in fact an experimental title to test the new engine that Fromsoft came up with and the ps2. So you put that together with the development issues and a ton of cut content and you get the jank that is present in Eternal Ring.
Overall still a solid game but if they just finished it and didn't have so much trouble making the game it could have been a much bigger hit and more widely known due to being a launch title.
I really hope Elden Ring is just From Software giving an origin story for why the Dark Wood Grain Ring is the most broken item in the game.
I've recently picked this game up because of Elden Ring and it may be strange but I fucking love this game.
It's an interesting game, for sure. 😂

They're worth it for at least one playthrough.
This game looked great when it came out.
It looks fine for it's time, yeah.
You're not done with dark souls but PS2. Kingsfield the ancient city is waiting for you....
Kingsfield is on the list of stuff to play, for sure.
game needs a sequel remake or spiritual successor
its controls need a touchup the voice acting and perhaps making more elemental variants and more holy and dark attribute combo rings

It wouldn't be a FromSoftware game without one.
This game has some pretty cool secret areas and such. I just didnt remember how horrible this game looks.
Also the ring crafting system did have a logic, I remember having each ring in the game and farming materials from the jungle area.
Also I was hoping you would have showed the sleeping dragon under the ice, it was cool
There was a lot of stuff I missed in this game for sure, I just couldn't be bothered playing it further tbh 😂

Btw you should do the original Deus Ex for ps2, your style would be so good for the unintentional humor of the game. Just look up the "what a shame" video and you'll know
