I know this is somewhat nitpicky, but I would have specified Persona 3 FES. There's regular Persona 3 and then there's the updated FES version. Persona 3 FES made a couple of smaller scale changes and it has The Answer for anyone who even cares for that. Then again, the later isn't being included for Persona 3's remake; so most newer players probably wouldn't even bother with The Answer in Persona 3 FES. Especially with The Answer being controversial. Though newer players would go for the former mentioned factor in FES.
Oh boy...Dragon Quarter. That game killed Breath of Fire...until Breath of Fire 6 came out and proved to be even worse. I know that breaking the cycle was an important part of not just the game's story, but also what they wanted to do with the game's design. However, the developers squandered that. Instead of Dragon Quarter, I would've had Xenosaga Episode 3. It's the best of Xenosaga and learned from the gameplay mistakes of Episode 2. While also improving upon something Xenosaga Episode 2's game play did correctly and that was the implementation of the ES mecha. It also brought back the majority of the Episode 1 voice cast while allowing for Momo's Episode 2 actress to improve upon her role. They also kept Jin Uzuki's Episode 2 actor; which many agree was a good move. He fits the character so well and not to mention the Episode 1 actor hardly any lines to work with for Jin.
Putting Kingdom Hearts 2 at #1 is a joke. Game is far less of a game and more of a movie with some game play added. You fight a battle cutscene, oh you fought again, more cutscene. FoH with that crap.
It's sad seeing the quality of PlayStation 1 RPGs then watching it degrade to this. Xenogears to xeno saga..... Ff vii to ff xii.... Abysmal Transition
A couple of those arguably aren't RPGs at all, notably Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Final Fantasy X is best avoided; battle system and music are average, story and vast majority of the cast just plain awful. And seriously, no Suikoden V? Better than pretty much everything on that list with the POSSIBLE exception of Persona 4, indeed it's a very strong contender for best RPG on the system.

Yuna is an equally stupid doormat. Wakka and even Lulu are both idiots. Kimahri is just there. Rikku is nice but also a world-class hypocrite. And that's just the character highlights. Story makes little sense, especially the "Tidus is a dream" twist. And the voice acting is beyond painful.
