I've always loved Kiora's art, and now I know more about her backstory I like her even more. She's just so much more down to earth than a few of the other walker's.
Between this story, and Kiora's previous one, she has quickly become my favourite planeswalker. I would love to get my hands of any version of her. Eitherway, love this series

I would love that Kiora card! When using the emblem I'd say "The only thing that flows faster than water... is fear" *puts on sunglasses and watches opponent give up all hope. I'd also run a playset of Giant octopus of course.
The new Kiora art is so sweet, hopefully she sees more play than Narset does! No one has figured out a shell yet, but she works with both Temur and Sultai support and *especially* well with Hangerback Walker.
To me, it seems like all of the major planeswalkers in BFZ will meet at Seagate, as many of you probably guessed. However, doesn't it seem like everyone going to the same place, for different reasons will be a "Deus Ex Machina" moment? Just sayin'...
I stopped playing magic for a few years and my first deck coming back into it was the Kiora deck from the Kiora vs. Elspeth duel deck. Ever since then I've had a strong personal attachment to Kiora. I was elated when I saw her new card in BFZ and I would love to own a copy of it. I could even make a new blue-green deck for both of my Kioras.
I look forward to seeing more of Kiara on Zendikar. I believe she will uncover Kozilek hiding are there underground or under the waves. If so, it will be awesome!

Big, Big fan of Kiora, and funny enough I am building a Merfolk Commander deck this very minute. Definitely know I can find a spot for Kiora ! I love these videos, gathering the storyline, etc. Keep up the awesome work!
So glad to learn more of Kiora and that she still has ties to Zendikar. Also, The relation to their 'old gods' and the Eldrazi reminds me of Stargate, and the Goa'uld
I really liked Kiora's story so far, but I wished you could've mentioned how Kiora got her Planeswalker spark (which sparked when she got eaten by a leviathan while out exploring the sea with her sister). That would've been nice. Also I believe in the story it wasn't so much that Kiora didn't want her sister to come, she was actually encouraging her, but that Turi didn't want to return to Sea Gate after the Eldrazi wrecked the place. Overall, a pretty good summary of the story. Good Job!
Ever since my brother got me back into magic couple of years back I saw her on duel of the planeswalkers. I hunted her down until i found out she wasn't even a card! I was so happy to get her in Theros. She has got to be my favorite planeswalker besides Tamiyo.
So at the end Kiora was a Trickster to Thassa :-D Like Cosi vs. Ula. Maybe it foreshadows something, like Kiora luring Ula into the trap of the Oath-Planeswalker? I really hope she will not become a sacrifice to save Zendikar...
+Simon Grossman I disagree on Gideon. Well he won't die because there is no other active white-Planeswalker and he belongs to the Oath... Okay it's just speculation, but I want to say, that I just don't like him. It's just my taste, but I am disappointed, that Elspeth died and Ajani became inactive to the story for I like any white Planeswalker more than Gideon. All three (Nahiri, too) were not fighting because they try to protect the weak for superman-reasons, but because they protect their home or search a home for themself. It's a more humanlike reason to fight. - But well, personal taste ;-)
i agree. gideon is such a flat charicter.he dosn't have any inner conflicts like ajani and liliana. all he dose is go and try to save people he is just boaring.
Love the art on this card. Very consistent with previous incarnations. Beefier tentacles on this new one. Kiora, Master of Depths might be the my favorite Planeswalker, all things considered.
My roommate and I went to a pre-release tournament where he pulled Ulamog in the first pack! It was awesome! Unfortunately, still new to the game, my red black ally deck was creamed by the Eldrazi competetuon. The tournament was still a blast though
I find a little funny that kozilek was twisted into a trickster god and, all the flavor text and kozilek creatures like the channeler and herald. The god of Kozilek Kozi's headdress or crown kinda looks like the Oath of The Gatewatch card rarity symbol doesn't it. I think That Kozilek is under ground hiding, waiting and consuming underground mana.
I thought that the Kiora card from the Theos block was boss, but the new one is insane!! BTW, I live your choices in outro music. They crack me up sometimes.

Kiorra is so powerful and hilarious in terms of playability, her ultimate isn't a complete "I win" but it's so close. ALL BOW BEFORE THE POWER OF THE SIMIC!

great story telling as always, kiora is one of my fav chars also green blue is my fav alltime color comp so wether i win it or not ill be getting it anyways straight in my vorel+liquimetal coating commander deck for instant ults all day.
I'm making a blue green EDH deck with Garruk, Kiora, Nissa and Jace in it. I have Garruk, Nissa and Jace already but no Kiora. I went to the pre-release in hopes of pulling her but I got the new gideon instead (who is now part of my mono white Renown deck) Having Kiora would be fantastic as i would be able o complete my new EDH :)

I've loved Kiora since she first poked her beautiful blue head out in Theros. Glad to see she's getting some love here in Zendikar, though I fear we might have another Mirrodin story here where the natives lose :(
I gat a friend who could really use that Kiora, also please do something about Nichole Bolas as he makes up a lot of problems in the mtg universe. Love what you do, keep it up.
Kiora was my first planeswalker (I started playing In the Theros block) so that alone make me want this card and the fact that she would work In my commander deck doesn't hurt.
I think Kiora would be very effective for the Battle For Zendikar. Bringing larger monsters to the field to give everyone else a chance to plan attacks and find ways to trap the Eldrazi.. I know her Planeswalker card has made my time deck a force to take noticed. Krakens For Days!
Kiora would work really well in my green-blue deck focusing on +1/+1 counters and ramp.

Kiora is a great addition to my current U/G ramp deck, and I love the flavor of Kiora and wish there were more U/G cards in Standard.

I love Kiora's character. She fucks with authority whenever she can. The story where steal Thassa's Bident is one of my favorites xD

Kiora's card is great in sealed. Last Sunday I pulled a regular one and a foil one in my pool. I wouldn't mind getting another one.

With my deck I'm making a great casual planeswalker deck that combines a most of the planeswalkers and the chain veil. This would go great in it.
