    Why do I get the feeling that this is not the end, the Eldrazi have their own plane of existence right, imagine they find out that everything they did to essentially pull the "man" down was not the man itself, but just the arm cause if they had truly pulled in the true form wouldn't Emrakul die as well since they are all connected, since that Eldrazi escaped, it would be like a fish biting the hand of the man and only leaving one finger still attached, yes they destroyed Ulamog and the other one but there could easily be other titans devouring other worlds that are unheard of, I could be completely wrong and just be grasping for something that isn't there, I really like the eldrazi.

    A big problem that I have with this is the aftermath. We are led to believe that killing the titans had destroyed much of Zendikar, if not almost all of it. I would suspect that this is what Ugin meant by ''huge consequences''. However, since Nissa has the magical seeds given to her at the beginning of the story, Zendikar will be restored by them which means that edrazi did next to no real damage to the plane. Even the eldrazi titans themselves did nothing of huge importance because thanks to the magical anti eldrazi seeds which just happen to grow on Zendikar, all the damage that they did and possibly ''the consequences of destroying the eldrazi titans'' will be reversed. It is really a shame :/
    Emrakul better destroy a few planes and kill a few walkers!

    • @diamondmetal3062
      @diamondmetal3062 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ugin wanted to keep the Eldrazi alive because even he didn’t know that much about them. He knew they were a threat to the universe, but theorized that they might serve some kind of cosmic principle, and that killing them may do more damage to the universe than keeping them alive.

    I'll be honest this was an extremely disappointing ending to the Eldrazi story. I was hoping they would maybe kill one of them but it would cost them the plain to do it. Making future encounters with them that much more dire. Not only that but WoTc built these titans up as unstoppable gods. Untouchable by mundane attacks like fire (ugin's ghost fire being the only way to harm them) yet Chandra simply killed them with a "REALLY big fireball". On top of that Zendika despite being mostly eaten/drained by the Eldrazi from years of imprisonment an subsequent following up consumption after being freed THEN on top of that had "all of it's remaining mana" used to simply pull them out of the blind eternity, a struggle which Zendika was losing your telling me the plain isn't doomed after all that? That should have been the story for one Eldrazi let alone two.

    • @snowboundwhale6860
      @snowboundwhale6860 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@genericedgelord3489 or perhaps Koz never resurfaced on Zendikar, and when Ulamog was falling, instead of Kozi's arrival giving them an opportunity to recover, Ulamog could've forced more of itself (but still not all of it) into Zendikar out of defiance. This would give Ula a second wind and a power up, and could set the stage for the idea of forcibly dragging the titan into the plane in its entirety.
      It could've been that in order to truly kill an eldrazi titan one must bind it in its entirety within a plane, and then destroy/ collapse the plane they're bound to. High stakes until they realise the cost of winning is the same as losing, and the conflict from there isn't "can we do this" but "is it our place to do this"

    Great story! Thank you for keeping us all up to date on the events. Looking forward to the content you bring us covering the next set. As for your question at the end of the video?
    I originally thought Jace was going there for Sorin because they all know with those two titans gone there is still one more out there that they will be forced to deal with eventually. Sorin is one of the most powerful planewalkers I believe still roaming around and what better place to look than his home world.
    Jace also has connections with Lilly out there who from what I saw is confirmed for this next set and I believe Garruk is also still there. I hope they continue that storyline. Maybe a cross between Lilly, Jace and Garruk? I dunno, I see a big battle in the near further concerning those three if they all meet up.
    Looking forward to your next video!

      Jan Opawski ?

    • @thatguythere8
      @thatguythere8 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jan kind of has a point. The spark doesn't actually give much of a boost except for maybe some special power (Like Gideon's invulnerability, Jace's advanced telepathy and Nissa's connection to the land but I'm not too sure if its the spark that gives those). It does, however, allow them access to magic from all over the multiverse. Imagine giving a child the internet and restricting the other to the local library. The child with the internet has an advantage with more access to information but it really depends on how the child uses it that truly separates them.

    • @Dragonlover553
      @Dragonlover553 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      ***** I see. Still, regardless of the exact nature of what part of being a planeswalker is making them so powerful, they are still capable of doing things like what's detailed in this video, so I'm still calling bullshit, but with mild reservations now.

    • @thatguythere8
      @thatguythere8 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dragonlover553 Oh yes, planeswalkers are normally much more powerful than mages, there is no doubt on that and I would agree with you fully on your first statement. Only adding that there is a possibility of a planeswalker being only as powerful as a normal mage if he/she isn't interested/fails in gaining more power but its unlikely since someone like that may not even trigger his/her spark in the first place. So you're actually more correct than the person who told you that info.

    There's a nagging feeling in the back of my mind that Ulamog and Kozilek escaped. the intense flames scorching them before finally escaping, leaving only imprints of smoke in the sky. Thanks Seiben for all the videos =D!

    This was an amazing video Seiben! Zendikar IS my favorite plane, to see the "Gatewatch" being born here and the 2 Two Titans being relinquished. I always felt Zendikar and Innistrad would make a good MTG movie start. With Sorin and Avacyn, or Nissa and The Eldrazi. The two stories are just so rich with characters/planeswalkers. I guess I'll just have to keep wishing for that though!

    I believe Jace is going back to inistrad with a hedron to maybe contain the curse consuming Garruk. One is already in him perhaps more or his new found knowledge of the hedrons may help even more.

    When I heard the overview of how the titans died, at first I was disappointed, thinking that a fireball was kind of a weak send off to Titans who shook the cosmos. However, after hearing this review and reading the Uncharted Realms, I changed my mind. :)
    Great send off and closure to the Zendikar saga. In a morbid way I would have liked to have had a hero fall in the battle, maybe Chandra or Nissa giving their very being and spark to decimate the Eldrazi Titans, or GIdeon standing up the onslaught of Eldrazi, pulling them all to him to save his friends then when the dust settles we see the reality warping eldrazi had distorted his shields and the damage was too much. Gideon fell so that Zendikar would live. Buried in the white dust that the world had become.

    Anyone else think that a movie about the battle for Zendikar from the release of the Eldrazi Titans to the defeat of Ulamog and Kozilek would be completely awesome.
    On a side note, I'm really excited for the story in SOI, mainly because Nahiri is making a comeback. We need another Boros planes walker and it seems like she's going to be that new one. I believe Jace is in Innistrad looking for Liliana after she disappeared on Ravnica. I can't wait to finally experience Innistrad since I missed out on the original block.

    Awesome video, and congrats on finishing the new Zendikar Story Block. As for Innistrad I think Jace goes there by request of Ugin to find Sorin only to find Nahiri blowing stuff up and something that would threaten the life of Innistrad, namely the silver moon.
