MTG just keeps amazing. This is more than a card game. They are telling a very long story with some of the deepest lore that I have ever seen. It runs deeper than The Elder Scrolls series, it runs deeper than Tolkien's Middle Earth, and it's incredible. I may be a new subscriber, but I'm already hooked. Keep up the good work.
I love Ashiok. It is such a lovely backstory, simply because there's so little. Leaving lots of room for more sets to have it, and Mandy unlock some of its secrets.
+Sickle Ogle Playing Ashiok is the most fun thing ever. If I ever build a Horrors deck it will include Ashiok, he's my favorite planeswalker purely because of his mill ability.

I think it would be really cool to see how each planeswalker actually planeswalks, like Ashiok would dissolve into mist, Chandra would explode in flames, Jace would spin through a maelstrom of blue lightning, Garruk would explode with black mist (After the curse) and things like that. that would be cool to see Seiben!

Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver is without a doubt amoung the spookiest of the Planeswalkers in the Magic universe. I too am looking forward to seeing more of It in a return to Theros. Thanks again for another great video!
This has been my favorite of your 13 nights of magic series. Ashiok is such an interesting character, could u imagine having a creature from one of your nightmares confront u in reality? I don't think I would ever actually recover from the paranoia that it could happen again if I somehow managed to survive such an encounter.
Though this video has given me a new hope in seeing Dack again since he's now tightly woven into the Ashirok story, I loved collecting the comics and was sad to find they stopped making them

Ashiok's design is so amazing, from the weird head to the bluish-grey skin color, to the long fingers and nails. Even it's clothing. Something about the actual design is just… perfect, I guess. Or as close to perfect as you can get. In my opinion of course.

Ashiok's first and third abilities work well with the newer eldrazi. It would be interesting to see how such a deck would work out.Also keep up the good work. This channel is awesome.
If you look closely at its face, I swear you can see the hollows of its left eye. Could just be my imagination, though. Anyway, according to WotC R&D, as they were pitching around card ideas before creative came up with the story, they envisioned a "dark Jace" as the villain. I'm sure that became out beloved Ashiok.

I think his card design is amazing the top to fears of magic players are losing your spell before you get to play them and having you own creatures kill you.

imagine a planeswalker that gets enlightened (like ignite his 2nd spark) would be immune to anything ashiok because he has overcome fear. i wish wizards will at some time in the future bring the idea of love's triumph over fear - oneness over separation into magic because looking at our lives it seems that this is, what's all about: love or fear - you choose..

Ashiok is one of my favorite planswalkers. Made a deck based on ashiok but could very much use another to really make it work.
Ashiok is a male, actually. The Theros Comic storyline clarify that... though it kinda ends abruptly with not actual resolution.

Ashiok's Origin seems amazing. Maybe that's why I have "this" in my U/B and Sultai Deck.
My friend ran this in one of his control decks and it was such a powerful card i don't think i ever beat him when he got this card out.
Ashiok has a place in many decks, and I would be proud to have her.

I thought, that Ashiok had a some sort of fabric on his face, but now I know - there are only two horns and emptiness there.
