- Hello all and welcome back to another video! Today we are reviewing the brilliant 2018 BMW M140i. In this video I will be sharing my mixed views on this car as well delving in depth with this car.

I have an 2018 Shadow Edition with OPF. I have a 2016 Standard Version without OPF. Installed a BM3 tune to my 2018 model and it doesn't sound to bad compared to the 2016.
Looking to pick one up sometime soon too. One of the best hot hatch out there.
It’s an excellent car, does nearly everything brilliantly! A few handling modifications and you couldn’t ask more a better car!

I agree with you buddy - like yourself weve got a c63 (507 edition) and got a 140 about w years ago - going from the c63 to the 140 the handling scares me 🤣

You should definitely do that, that’s coming from a C63 owner too! The M140i is all the car you’ll ever need really, does everything with sublime excellence!

Thank you Zack! This is called the Rieger Diffuser in gloss black, it’s the best looking one in my opinion! : )
Tnx for great differentiation between opf and non opf version. Do you know if same rule applys for series 2?
I couldn’t give you an answer 100%, best bet is to look through both canards like I did in this video, I’m sure they’d have carried the same process over to the 2 series as well.
I’m looking to buy one of these and I only do 8 miles a day so with the current fuel prices I don’t think it will be that bad, any thoughts and nice vid 👍🏼
Thank you! The M140i is a brilliant daily and if you’re only doing 8 miles a day, then it won’t break the bank either, as they’re reasonably efficient!
I’ve got a 2019 M140i stage 1 gearbox, stage 1 engine and I’m getting 435 miles in a full tank of V-Power
@@MikeyA467 That’s amazing range, what driving do you do?
The M140i typically has given me low 30’s in the time I’ve had with it, but can get mid 40’s with long runs at 70mph.
i don even get 340miles in a 118i 3pot 1.5. How are u getting 435 in an engine double the size. help@@MikeyA467
If your worried about fuel, I wouldn’t bother getting one mate. Let me tell you they are not as cheap as people are making out.
FYA - If you don’t peal those door sill stickers off they deteriorate and discolour the sills behind them.

Just got mine about a week ago with 24k on the clock for just under 20k. Prices are quite weird atm.

@@lockeM140 I've had 45 out of mine on a 170 mile trip on the motorway, average speed of 67mph. My average everyday is around 29 mpg.
