How is this NZ in 2021? Is the mid north island stuck in some bizzare 90s time loop warp? Something fishy is going on and we need someone to investigate..

I passed through Feilding yesterday on my way back to Auckland. An old lady ran off with my takeaway coffee I’d ordered instead of her hot chocolate, so I’d guess she’s still beaming?
Loved Feilding back in 1992 as an exchange student and loved it again in 2018 with my family. People were great towards a nerd like my and the tour of FAHS with my wife and sons was amazing. But Halcombe has the best chips in the world!
As a Kiwi from Auckland(Aucklander), that Mayor's entrance kinda made Me Teary and not ashamed to say it. It makes Me Happy to see Kiwi's still take a lot of Pride in People such as Their Town Mayor, *Ka-Pai Friendly-Fielding!!* 💚🇳🇿💚
I've been coming & going from Feilding, since preschool - I'm well ppost school now. Was very impressed with the freind reception, at the debate, other wise the place seemed friendly enough - certainly more than my neighbourhood at present.
Too funny! I used to write radio ads for local retailers back in the 80s. Had to spend a day visiting each place to get copy. Usually ended up heading to the river to kill time (not the rooting bushes lol). Well done on surviving (just) fielding. You should cover YPuk!

they would if youtube recommend or send these vids to folk from other countries ,,but unfortunately having a channel from NZ your vids go nowhere a channel success relies on yt promoting them & they don't care about us folk here at the bottom of the world in NZ .It sucks it's hard work for kiwi's ,i know some crazy good channels & the forums are full of people telling them how they are & can't understand why there channel has not blown up & or has so little subs or views & it's all because yt don't promote them Kiwi Josh James is one example he has been on discovery several times his video's & editing is crazy good people love him & he is one of the very at what he does on yt,, people can't believe how small his channel is that's all on yt doing that ,,he manages to get by from having patreon like he said it cost to much money & time to put good content out he wouldn't survive without patreon .If you live in the USA different story ..Im not confident that many people outside the NZ-AUS bubble will even get a chance to see him .

I’m in Texas and even I know Feilding is the most beautiful town in New Zealand.
When I lived at Ohakea, Feilding had the closest KFC. :) So still a fond place in my heart for the town.
