Really enjoyed what Mark had to say. I love cooking my own Thai food in Sydney but the ingredients can be expensive. I hadn't really given any thought to the way dishes were prepared in Thailand, as I eat out all the time. I will give this more thought and will try and cook at home when I'm in Hua HIn.
Great video. Also a fan of projectbkk. Does Mark have his own channel? Would love to hear more from his life in Thailand. Also perhaps a second follow up video idea: healthy eating options (take away or restaurants)
The Phrom Phong neighborhood has many healthy food options. Veggiology on Soi 41 is my favorite place to get high quality juices and food. I appreciated it that Mark had the discipline to change his diet and get healthy.
Hey kid, I’m so proud of you! You’re heading out into the world with just a few bucks in your pocket and making it happen. Meanwhile, I’m gearing up to semi-retire and move to Thailand. I spent six months there with the military and have been back several times since. I’m loving the idea of a digital office park. I like your idea about using the digital office park. I do that here in the US, but didn't think about that in BKK. It’s great to have an external office space that gets you energized in the morning and puts you in a professional environment. Question for all my Americans. Where do you find remote jobs that authorize you to work from anywhere. The jobs I find (in finance) all say anywhere in the US.
Most ppl I know who work online have a VPN set to the U.S. but you gotta keep on top of that. One of my friends BFF was living here in Thailand and was doing that but she forgot to check her VPN and her job fired her. Then it was downhill from there, she overstayed and got deported back to the states and banned for 5 years from entering the country
Could you please do a video on a digital nomad work, how to get a remote job working in Thailand or anywhere in the world. We always hear about Digital Nomads, but WTF are they actually doing and how do you find these jobs?

I can definately relate to the Thai street food and a medical check up.... after one year my blood pressure was extremely high... doctor said it was the high sodium diet and especially the MSG used in most markets and street vendors.... but now I do most of my own cooking and occasionally go out for a special meal... awesome content from both you and Rob .... so tired of the TH-camr with he clickbait,,, "Best beach in Thailand... Best market in Thailand...." Your content is easy to relate to,,, thanks Adam.

@@davemassingham2096 That's decent. What's ping to a gaming server like? Most of us have 950/450. We only got equal up and down a few years ago with hyper fibre but it costs a bit more. 2000 or 4000 or 8000 up and down. Have to be a Uni or big company to get 10,000 or 100,000
Cambodia is the game plan next year if it all plays out. Can you live clean or green there, without spending a mint. I drive a car and harvest wild meat, grow veg but don't produce any waste I can't deal with on site. Avoid chems, pfas etc They seem to love their plastic and pollution there.
Adam please get blood work. I agree seed oils are very bad and inflammatory. In your health journey you will start to avoid inflammation because thats where all the health problems start. There are many important things but one thing you should look into are probiotics for your gut. Gut health is very important because without a healthy gut your body cant absorb all the nutrients from food. Also you seem to be tired a lot. Try to take magnesium as this is a critical mineral for energy and in thailand you sweat a lot. I think magnesium glycinate is the best form as there are many forms but do your research.
Also LDL Cholesterol doctors will say is too HIGH if its above 180, when in fact anything below 180 is too LOW. Many years ago LDL cholesterol safe level was 350. They made it lower so statin drugs are being pushed on everyone and this is why seed oils are promoted as heart healthy by the mainstream.
Eat REAL Thai food. If you choose to live off of french fries or their equivalent in any country you will have high cholesterol and bad health. Most Thai foods are low/no oil and low/no sugar. Choices matter. It was funny to see the look on Keis when the guy started talking about how unhealthy Thai food is. I could see Keis was kinda like, . I had to skip past the guy after that. Sorry, KEIS ! 555
New research shows that cholesterol isn’t the problem, it’s inflammation caused by sugar and processed carbohydrates. Cardiologists have stated that there is no connection between cholesterol and heart disease. Patients who have died of heart disease and heart attacks had different levels of cholesterol from low to high. Marc’s best solution is to cut down or cut out sugar and processed carbohydrates.
