Your days always look like clear skies. I think I prefer the overcast mornings I’ve had on my Caminos.
I think this is one of my fav “put together” videos of yours. It’s always exciting to press play on your video with my coffee in hand.
Oh thank you so much! Sometimes, when I go back to look at what I recorded on a certain day I'm disappointed that I didn't take more video, and I still have so much to learn, but it's been so much fun to take these videos as I walk and put them all together to post here. It's such a great time capsule for me, too!

I stayed in the same place last September and even went to the same supermarket to get food for my dinner. Then again not much choice, amazing experiences

Emilio Estevez and Andrew McCarthy have been doing press for their Camino related projects this week. Emilio's film "The Way" is being re-released in theaters on Tuesday and McCarthy's book "Walking with Sam" has been released. Anyway, Cheers and Adventure On!
I know, so much Camino news lately! Were you able to get to a theater to see The Way on the 16th? I wasn't able to, but I do love that movie. And I need to buy a copy of Andrew McCarthy's book, I'm eager to read it!

Envy you the views - that coastline was spectacular! Don’t envy you the sand though - it’s both gorgeous and a curse. I was on the Ingles at the same time as you were on the trail 10:16 , watching your video reminded me how incredibly lucky we were with the weather ☀️🌞. Thanks 🇳🇿

I'm so happy that you had good weather for your walk too... it can make such a difference! This was probably the best 8-day stretch of walking weather I've had on any walk I've ever done. I felt so lucky!

I recently spotted those GR 9&11 markers on the central route of the Camino Portuguese.
Oh good to know! I'll have to look more into the different GR routes that run through Portugal
You will get mornings like that. Keep going. You will release the negative energy.
Yup, mornings like that (or afternoons/evenings, etc), are just part of life. The trick is to keep going, knowing that you can always push through.
Have you read, Sunrises to Santiago: Searching for Purpose on the Camino de Santiago? It is a couple that is walking and sh is a school psychologist.
I've heard of this book but I haven't read it yet; thanks for the reminder, I'll have to add it to my list so that I can get to it soon!
Hi, those are tough mornings but good on ya for lacing up the shoes and pushing through! And what a beautiful morning it was, spectacular coast! Thanks for sharing. I'm headed for Porto Monday for my next walk and took full advantage of the video of your Porto Camino last year. Such a great resource and I appreciate your insight. Sure hope the weather is better than what you experienced...yikes.
You may have already left for Porto and started your walk, and if so, I hope your first day had better weather than mine!! Bom Caminho!

Looks like they took you off the canal and now have you going through fields. Or did you not film the canal?
I'm sure I would have filmed the canal if I'd walked along it! So the path must be a bit re-routed now.

I know what you mean , your Brain is saying no ,not today . I don’t really want too .while you’re fingers are tightening your bootlaces and walking you out the door . But after a few yards you start to feel much better. Or maybe I’m just strange 😊😊

Nadine, I have so been enjoying your videos of your walk this time but it doesn't look like you have uploaded a new one since this one. I do hope everything is all right with you. Maybe it is just an issue with your equipment. Hope so. Looking forward to hearing about how your progress is going.
Hi Victoria! I'm actually home now, and working on editing/uploading the videos. Last year I tried to post the videos as I walked (in real time!) but it was so difficult. So now I just take the videos and try to be in the moment while I'm on the walk, and then do the posting when I get home. I wish I could be posting these more in real time, but hopefully they're still enjoyable with a little delay! But, I'm a-okay! Thanks for checking up :)

You just needed coffee. We are biological robots and most of us are addicted to caffeine. Once you got your fix, all was right with the world.
