Handstand push-up program, workouts, 1000+ exercises for handstand & bodyweight strength is also in my App:
    www.bergmovement.com/movement-trybe-app
I want this to be accessible to as many as possible, so please remember that if you are in a less fortunate economic situation, you can apply for discounts (25-75%) or a scholarship. Applications are found on the same link :)

Hi, this might not be the best place to say it, but my wife and I really enjoyed being "introduced" to you by watching Magnus' climbing video. We appreciated your relaxed attitude and how much fun you guys had together just "trying stuff". I wish more people related to sports that way without all the "win/doom" attitude. Winning is definitely fun (and is important professionally), but I can see that both of you are challenging yourselves more than each other. I'm glad you made the time for that.
Also: what you do is amazing. You know those "People are amazing videos"? Yeah, you are amazing.
      Peace!

I love that you include knee push-ups in your progression. As a yoga teacher, I would rather see students do knee chaturanga well than a not great plank position chaturanga and never improve. If y’all want to do yoga, I don’t know what the scene in Norway is, but Sweden has a big yoga community. I can recommend teachers to help open your hips (I came here from the other collab on Magnus’s channel) on a healthy manner.

I am very out of shape. 33yrs old 5’8 190-195lbs I felt the best when I was between 155-165lbs. This + climbing (I climb 3-5 days a week) + swimming should get me back to my goal of a healthy, strong 160lbs. 🤘 I’ll check back in 6 months from now with my progress! (April 20th 2023)
    Wish me luck! 🤙

This was a great video! I’m pretty new to exercising (started climbing ~7 months ago and was lazy for 25 years until them) and this was exactly the type of progression video I needed!

Great video guys! I try to get that bloody first HSPU, but after watching the video I see that I've been missing lots of possible progressions and could have been further in my HSPU journey by now if I knew them earlier! Good to see Sondre that tour channel grows day by day, you deserved it!

Magnus fan here, but not a climber. You got me moving, and boy are my arms tired now! Knee pushups, wrist strengthening, stretching. No idea if i’ll ever get to the level of handstand pushup, but I aim to get at least to straight pushups and straight hand stand.

It was fun watching both of your videos. One could see how you each have different strengths and less developed things based on your own training. I also enjoyed seeing you support and coach each other.
By the way, I came from Magnus's channel. I'll definitely check out some more of your stuff :)

Giving this a shot. Day 4 now, improving but hopeless. Hope sondre and magnus are happy, pressing like is a lot easier.

Can do the handstand pushup 3/4 the way down and back up, with a wall to help with balance. Balance is trash, need to work on it still. Wrists were strong after a week then only slowly got stronger after that. Can do the tuck planche cheating a bit (knees on elbows), getting close to doing it without cheating. Working away on iron cross training too, getting much stronger on that finally after being stuck for awhile.
I am 50 and weigh 320lbs. Its tough for me. I practice every day.

Got a set of wooden rings. Had a woman I know tell me I look buff. Biceps bigger than arnolds now. Still over 300lbs. 10lbs off my max (30 years ago) on triceps pullovers (150lbs, enough for dragon flags, almost enough for maltese). Doing dumbbell rows with 180lbs (no wraps for grip). Balance is still trash. Iron cross is forever away but progressing rapidly. Handstand pushup a month or 2 away, dont know how long until I can put it on rings though. False grip is natural now.

    • @deltalima6703
      @deltalima6703 ปีที่แล้ว

250lbs on dumbell rows now. Got the planche. Iron cross training gave me the strength. Iron cross might be possible but it is years away. Still slacking terribly on balance stuff and it shows. My balance is almost as bad as day 1. Grip strength is improving at a snails pace now, but I am still not planning on getting wrist wraps. Damn planche was brutal on lower back, wasnt expecting that. Not close to trying planche on rings, but may do some planche pushup training.

Wow i was watching Magnus' channel and ended up here. This is a very interesting channel and i think it has a lot of things to teach me as an athlete primarily as well as a climber. The way Sondre increases the difficulty of the excercises step by step is extreamely helpful.

Thank you so much for the wrist strengthening exercises. I get wrist and hand atrophy from computer hobby and job, so this is super helpful. This form of muscle building seems way more fun than weight lifting. I can’t wait to start… tomorrow, as it’s midnight right now.

I’m 46 and out of shape but really want to try calisthenics. I’ve had to start doing push-ups from my knees but I’ve gotten from 3 up to 15 within about 10 days. Unfortunately now my wrist is really sore and it hurts to do even 1. I’m concentrating on core exercises while it heals and will start doing the wrist strength training soon. Great video and thanks for the motivation!

Big props for giving nice, gradual progressions! So many tutorials or programs just start their beginner levels with full push ups or maybe knee push ups when the reality is that many people can't do even one knee push up with proper form when they're just starting training, never mind training them for reps. I'll incorporate your technique drills for sure, been training wall handstands for a while now and my shoulders are getting more stable, I think it's a good time to bring in some more variety!
