I have made it so many ways, and I love all of it. I will definitely try it with the pickled ginger now! Did the recipe. Loved it. Two things tho (in my humble opinion): 1.the pickled ginger/dried seaweed/bonito flake are all quite powerful, so a little can go a long way on all three 2. Adding in a ratio of oyster sauce to the Aaron's okonomiyaki sauce recipe is an alternative way of making it

Work really well for me and my husband. (i love it salty though). For filling i used sweet shrimp and mushrooms, my man wanted grounded beef. And we used bacon. Delishious! Love from sweden!

Mmmm that looked delicious!!😋 The dancing bonito flakes always make me smile. I bought some to make Takoyaki but never did. I'll make this instead.👍🏻

Not only do I love your videos, but I love your cooking utensils as well. What kind of pan do you use? Lol I know it’s a random question :-P I’m in the market for news pots and pans & the ones you use look great!

HONDASHI! I knew I forgot something! Okonomiyaki is a staple weekend breakfast in our house. Thanks for the validation that I'm doing it well - and for the pan heat pointer!

Hi Aaron, I’ve seen the Okinomyaki flour in my Asian supermarket. What ration of flour to water would I use for that. Thank you.

My fav way to have okonomiyaki is with cubes of cheese and mochi (soooooo good and stretchy and chewy) although I dont have bacon or pork on mine
