Having a teammate block your view and shot all the time is peak BF
I cannot tell you how many times I just lined up a perfect headshot with my sniper, just for my buddies I play with to walk in front of the bullet accidentally saving that enemy. Countless times lmao
That honestly describes every shooter game ever, regardless of if it's in multiplayer or in singleplayer

When i aim my rpg at an enemy tank, and an ally walks in front so it explodes near my face and end up killing myself

Yeah traverses a little quickly compared to some historical footage. It’s two hand wheels you have to try and spin quickly.

as a bf1 player it hurts me to see a bf5 player getting kills easily without having to go through 18th century canoneer training
BFV players have it easy, back in my day, the face shield obscured 80% of your vision, and you had no zoom for long shots

I don't know what's the biggest obstruction: the sandbag or that teammate.
Sometimes teammates are sandbags that cannot be destroyed.

The sandbag doesn't catch as many bullets vertically. However, the teammate isn't as smart.
the word obstruction is so familiar yet strange to me, i thought it was the word i always hear. That word i always hear is obstacle and obstruction is a different word
the real treasure is the the sandbags we made along the way
I was almost immersed for a while there, then you whipped out the gold plated double barrel shotgun with a red dot sight and I remembered what game this is.

When I saw the aperture sight, I physically cringed and sighed. It’s a shotgun what do you need a sight for oh yea it’s that one with the one rifle bullet.

@@angelman906 well, they are in the game. Idk about irl use in non warfare, but yes, it was used minimalistically by Germans. There is a flakfire video on it for more info.

Imagine a single man being able to aim, fire and reload a pak-40 in all of two seconds. Tanks just wouldnt have even been a thing
Same could be said about any stationary weapon or vehicle in bf5 and bf1. U need more than 1 person to operate a tank,more than 1 for artillery,more than 1 for a machine gun. U have to sacrifice realism for fun some times
@@DreezySig it would be slower but the pak-40 had an autoejector and auto closing breech so it wouldn't be unusably slow to reload for one person
@@tatotaytoman5934 yes but you’d need another person to keep bringing u shells to fire. Same for the machine gunner needing another guy to keep feeding him ammo
@DreezySig I think modern day its possible to have a 1 crew tank. There have already been 2 crew tanks in very small ones before.

I wish I recorded the one I had, it was genuinely 5-10 minutes long. I’ve got a few good clips from BF5 but I used to be mental with this particular one a year or so ago.
Mine would be a sherman until the mod kicked me out claiming that I was cheating, never played it since.

I'm a medic main, and I always love to build little field hospitals in that game.
Just a place to go to heal up when the objective is being attacked.
I don't really like BFV, but I love the fortification building.
Agreed, the building was easily my favourite part of the game. Would love BF1 with the same kind of system, being able to dig your own smaller trenches, mortar pits, etc.
Building is easily the funnest part of that game for me. Especially trenches. I often just run around building things, if it helps my team or not. BF1 would be fun with building too, but I don't think it needs it, though the idea of digging huge trench lines in that game across the map does sound intriguing.

Buildin defence emplacements and crouch movement. How well implemnted these are for a cohesive gameplay. Fav crouch run made environment as leverage.

It's always bugged me that the machine gunner can build emplacements and fortifications faster than the engineer. I thing BF5 was the first of the franchise to never be fully "finished" by the end of its life
It always bothered me that trenches & emplacements were a feature brought to BF5 and not BF1
When the M1903 isn't an option for Recon class in a WW2 game, you know it's not finished. Shame because the game is actually a lot of fun.

This does remind me of the LindyBeige video about this 1942 battle where 21 anti-tank guns all by themselves were up against a 100 tanks in a daring last stand. Except of course that they had to figure out precise shots and angles and weren’t shooting and reload as if its a handgun.

Reminds me of my days in Planetside 2 fighting as an engineer. Would move with a squad alongside a tank and just repair it on the move. If we had to hunker down my automatic shotgun made short work of anything coming through the doorway. And if that wasn't enough, the chaingun turret was great because I could build it and then let someone else run it while I covered a flank or provided ammo for the rest of the unit. Good times, good times.

Recently picked BF1 back up after not touching it since July
On my second or third match I got three headshots at 300m range within about 45 seconds and immediately I was back in

a truly competent soldier who was always alert to avoid surprises. honestly I play like that too but in Battlefield 4. and the most real thing I saw in the video was the other allies standing in front of the cannon, there's always that one soldier who doesn't think about the team. There are times when it even feels like you're playing alone because of this.
Not only you can build a cannon anywhere you want, but the rotation is so fast, unlike BF 1 or Enlisted.
not really. there are fixed places for cannons. only way to move them where you want is to either tow them to the position or calling in an artillery truck

Let's all take a moment to pause for the intelligent snipers who obstruct sight for minutes. We all know these heroes. Without them, Battlefield wouldn't be the Battlefield we love so much.
Reminds of this one time in either BF1 or BF5, can't remember which. I got the map antitank gewehr and posted up in a windmill. I was ripping the enemy team to shreds. Never missed a shot that time and I was proud as hell of myself.

Honeslty, i loved this building defenses atuff in BF5. Especially when doing it franticlly before the enemy begins their advance.
Fortification building was the funnest part of the game for me. Yeah I can mick up an LMG or MMG and pin people down. Or pick up a shotgun and waste like 5 people. But I always felt happiest when I was just making fortifications! And theres nothing like some idiot trying to sweat and kill you and you just murder them and go right back to building. Or have other people from the enemy team come over and be friendly! Game had potential to be okay but too many bad decisions killed it too soon.

As a bf1 player it hurts me so much to see that someone can actually use static defenses and not instantly get killed by 7 different snipers at once.
Back in my bf1 days the artillery cannons werent on some hills with scopes, we had artillery pieces in random roads or hills, one of em was just in the d point of the desert map, and not only that but the scope was just a rectangular hole with a box that blocked most of your vision, and you could get shot through it somehow.
