2008 Ford Expedition Power Seat Electrical Short Fixed

The drivers electric seat in my 2008 Ford Expedition was blowing fuses due to an electrical short. In this video I show you how I identified the short, fixed, and worked out methods to move the seat with an external battery connected directly to the power seat motor. I hope you find it helpful!

Hello. I have this vehicle and my drivers side seat is stuck in the lay down position. I can hear the motor kick in for a second everytime i push the button. All other directions function properly. What do you think might be my issue?

Do you happen to know the name of the plastic part that covers the power switches? This is the hard plastic side of the seat? This part has snapped on my expedition; trying to find a replacement part.

Yeah my blower mottor goes out from time to time. And also the first two gears on my A/C fan won't work either.
