Interesting video, thank you... Just booked a Kawasaki Vulcan 650SE here in Adelaide, Australia.. In Australia, this particular model comes in three versions-S($11200), SE(special edition-$11400), and S Cafe(aprx $11700).. The S looks the same as in this video, SE has a blue shade appearance on the fuel tank and the wheels and also shiny and a silver shade on the engine, and the S cafe has a grey shade but also comes with a windshield type of thing from the headlight. Otherwise, the specifications all remain the same.. Here the bike comes without a pillion seat but obviously, you can buy it as an extra. While you have just a learner's license(at least in SA) you are not allowed to carry a co-passenger anyway. Since this video was shot in Bangalore; I remember my salad days in the Garden City where I used to cruise around in my Rajdooth 175 and Yamaha RX100 during 1993-97 and several interstates ride back home to Kerala and later in Tamil Nadu where I continued my studies. After many years of hibernation that Yamaha was brought back to its former glory last year and still back home in Kottayam, Kerala.. Oh man..you brought back to me all those great memories... Thank you again for this video...
I’m riding a 2010 900 custom. It’s got just under 63,000 miles on it and all I’ve done is brakes, tires, oil changes and exhaust damper bushings. Had valve clearances checked at 29k and they were all well within specs. Cannot say enough good things about Kawasaki
HDT Customs for me it was down to this and the Bolt. I went Bolt. More power and just a better feel for me. Only downside for me is I wish it had a 6th gear but not really a big issue. Can’t go wrong with either bike
If Bajaj Avenger can have a ground clearance of 175mm, and Royal Enfield with 180mm+ , there is no excuse this bike has 130mm ground clearance. This is not for india. Currently there is no upgrade available for bajaj avenger owners.
Bro...that traffic! How do you it? You need to come to the High Desert here in California and enjoy open roads and endless empty highways. Enjoyed your video.
Very nice narrative from a real riders point of view. I particularly enjoyed your clips in heavy traffic. I've never visited India but have heard and seen some legendary fraught traffic. I'm just an easy rider on my KVS and it's still quite new to me. I personally find the throttle quite touchy and that makes me a little nervous in traffic. I need more experience but agree it's a solid all around good bike. However still I'm not sure it's for me as it's first cruiser. So enjoyed your point of view and scenery. Good narrative, I'll see more. thanks for posting !
The Harley is air cooled which means it needs to keep going to cool down the engine not so good for city drives in traffic, whereas the Vulcan is liquid cooled
not to criticize but people need to understand diff. between street bike, touring bike, cruiser and sportbike. Each one has their own characteristics we should not expect mixed characteristics in the single bike.
Change your script writer : cut all the chatter and get right to the specs and price for the base model with ABS you need to start off by stating the bike is a 650 water cooled parallel twin high revving engine with a 270 degree firing interval . How long does that take . No one is going to look at the website . Tell your viewers the engine is the same 650 used by Kawasaki in the Versys 650 and the new Kawasaki 650 sports bike . Say the engine is well tried and tested . Discuss the price in local currency and US $ ! Only then speak about your ride , how far , gas mileage , top speed and brakes . As a cruiser mention your height and seat heights . Mention the ergo fit system and accessories . I won’t subscribe to your channel because you don5 cover the specs . Covering the specs does no5 need to go into compression rations or the 6 speed gear box rations or the interesting fact that the gear box is a cassette style and can be changed without removing the engine . Change your script writer or employ a professional voice over as you speak too quickly .
LM 10 ---> How quickly we come to the defence of someone we like! First off, Bulu Biker seems to be an intelligent person and a very nice person too. Now that that's out of the way... I'd like to stress that "improvement" is of paramount importance. Since we look forward to "new & improved", shouldn't we - on a personal basis - seek to be "new & improved" as well? So, then, there's nothing wrong with accepting criticism; it's a way to improve. Agreed, not ALL points of criticism would be valid from a certain "local" perspective (as opposed to a global perspective); however, when it is plain that Martin Carter has put in quite a bit of effort to give some input, it should just be appreciated as such.
one of the most awaited bike reviews finally accomplished..... first and for most, who cares about slipper stay cool :)your video connects with people saral n simple ;) thanks again, bulu bhai for such detailed explanation or beast looking bike in its segment.... looking forward for more inersting videos.
thankyou bulu bhai for making such a fantastic video on my comment..it was like u were talking to me directly.. really appriciate it and definitely going to buy vulcan s
OMG! If I had to ride in that traffic it sure wouldn’t be on my Vulcan but in a big SUV. And I thought Chicago traffic was bad (About the worst in America is Chicago) but in the states we stay at our spot in the lane. No lane splitting to get ahead of just one more car. Around here that enough to make other drivers mad and we can’t have that while on a bike.
I always travel with pillion. Few doubts. 1. Does the grab rail obtrust the pillion leg? Inner thigh to be precise. And while getting on / off the bike 2. Does the pillion seat in a comfortable (neutral) way or are the legs perched up like most bikes because rear seat to pillion foot peg distance is too less? 3. If fully loaded (like your Dominor ) with luggage and pillion what will be the ground clearance in real life situation? Not Leh / Ladakh but country roads of South India?
Hi bulu bhai .what is best between ninja 300 vs ninja 400 for Bangalore City and touring purpose.does ninja 400 exhaust creates problem as it's placed just below the foot peg????
Bulu bhai, please make a compilation of good big city bikes like this one. I am not a cruiser guy and am planning on buying a big bike for daily usage. If you could please. Thanks.
Hello from Canada ! Very nice review. Do you know where i can buy those passenger grab handles ? I am desperatly looking for those for more than six months... thank you .
some people say that this bike is the little brother to the Indian Scout ? Maybe I don't know haven't tried a scout, I reckon Indian and Harley-Davidson should make 650cc cruiser like the Vulcan that way they could introduce more learner drivers, maybe there isn't a market for that, would be cool though, I do like the vulcan it's a good choice if you want a cruiser. Most reviews I've seen about the vulcan have been mostly positive.
Hi @bulubiker Please try to make the comparison with the 2018 street 750. I honestly feel you have been comparing with prior street models. Eagerly waiting for the video 👍
thank you bhai.. this really really helped alot.. solved my biggest dilema.. thank you so much 👍👍👍👍 also would love to see the comparision video btwn the harley and the kawi..!! 🙂😀
Sir is it advisable for small town ownership, I am concerned about maintenance. Bikes like these don't require parts replacement frequently but does it require maintenance from system control or it can be done manually like any other bike.
Hello bulu Bhai...mo na pratyush , mun Delhi re rujhey...aasa karuchi bhala re thibey apana And you are a person who has inspired me a lot... Gotey help darkar thila apananka tharu... I'm having a Yamaha R15 V3 , I wanted to put my bike on lease in Delhi it self...can you please tell me whom should I contact... Reply apekhya re rahili... 🙂
Bulu Ji, Can You Give a Comparison b/w RE Interceptor 650 vs Vulcan S 650 ?.... Why we go for Vulcan S 650 in spite of this 650 available in low budget...? Kindly Reply .
If I chose to buy a Harley I will never choose Street..coz it's not the true Harley...actual entry level Harley is iron 883... Not sure, have they dropped the price of Vulcan for 2020....it's under 6 lak I guess .....still a huge chuck of money for a bike for me....but this bike is an exceptional cruiser from Kawasaki....
I did take test ride of this cruiser. I loved it & want to buy it soon.. The only hitch I’ve is the ground clearance. @130mm it will surly scrape the humps in the city. review starts from 3:55 😁 reason I am saying this is broadband is not really 4G class everywhere in India.
he he.. true that.. 20 minute video could be shrink to 5-9 minute if he could have been
efficiently put the content.
Thanx
Thanx brother
thank you
I thought it was just me. Too much words said irrelevant to the bike.

Am customizing Vulcan s from last 1 and half weeks . I love the performance and smoothness and most importantly it is comfortable . Good one
HDT Customs for me it was down to this and the Bolt. I went Bolt. More power and just a better feel for me. Only downside for me is I wish it had a 6th gear but not really a big issue. Can’t go wrong with either bike
What’s the fuel efficiency?
You forgot to mention the 'ergo-fit' feature on offer on this bike.
Dude... you touching the full foot both the sides is a great news for 5.4 inch person like me.
If Bajaj Avenger can have a ground clearance of 175mm, and Royal Enfield with 180mm+ , there is no excuse this bike has 130mm ground clearance. This is not for india. Currently there is no upgrade available for bajaj avenger owners.
im from Australia and i think its safe to say the intro music will make this video sound like a old cop show or something along those lines :D
I wouldn't buy such a bike for that traffic! It's insane! Such a bike is for free roads, free highways.
Bro...that traffic! How do you it? You need to come to the High Desert here in California and enjoy open roads and endless empty highways. Enjoyed your video.
Yo, where in cali? I just got stationed here and im looking into getting a bike
Just like in Bangkok!lol
Bhai don't always say u are short hieght , your the inspiration to many of us
The narration is quite good never missed common problem we use to face while driving... Keep it UP BOL
Kawasaki has Parallel twin motor. They are good in heat management. Harley uses a V-twin which is really bad when it comes to the vibration.
Very nice narrative from a real riders point of view. I particularly enjoyed your clips in heavy traffic. I've never visited India but have heard and seen some legendary fraught traffic. I'm ready to trade in my Honda Shadow 750 for a Vulcan 900 custom. Might get a 2017 model. Very nice bike.
Did you trade in? This review is for the Vulcan S (650cc motor). The Vulcan 900 Custom is equally nice but different - belt drive and a 900cc motor.
Hey man thanks for using English on this video. I am planning to buy a Vulcan S myself! This is the best review of the Vulcan S that I've seen so far.
loved your video, bro, from los angeles california rider.
Big point you made ... in India it’s impossible to drive in traffic comfortably and fast without keeping one leg on the foot rest and rear brake ...
The Harley is air cooled which means it needs to keep going to cool down the engine not so good for city drives in traffic, whereas the Vulcan is liquid cooled
Awesome review!!! You've covered almost all areas. It was really helpful. Just one more thing... what's the service interval for Vulcan?
not to criticize but people need to understand diff. between street bike, touring bike, cruiser and sportbike. Each one has their own characteristics we should not expect mixed characteristics in the single bike.
These bikes are a waste on our overcrowded and broken roads. Their full potential is rarely explored...
This will be a nice and easy upgrade for me... Bcoz... I'm having a Bajaj avenger 220. Almost same shape.... Handling style...
Subscribed you for the lucid explanation... No extravaganz but straight logical explanation... Kudos Patnaik ji

Lol here comes a professional youtuber with 10 million followers
Martin Carter I think he is doing just fine!
Whats the use of telling the price in usd? He's doing really well and this is the type of review that we prefer.

thanks again, bulu bhai for such detailed explanation or beast looking bike in its segment.... looking forward for more inersting videos.
Bro you are trying to hide ground clearance
I really enjoyed your honest review of this motorcycle. Thank you and i hope you have continued success.
Pre owned Vulcan 650 of 2018 model- 10k kms driven. What's the best price tag we can buy for?

Lane-splitting is legal in California.
Very precise and informative. Bullu Bhai is the best...
Right now I ride an avenger 220.
Planning for vulcan s.
I always travel with pillion. Few doubts.

my height is 6.2 it is very comfortable compare to any bike in this range engine really smooth this is value for money bike
Hi bulu bhai .what is best between ninja 300 vs ninja 400 for Bangalore City and touring purpose.does ninja 400 exhaust creates problem as it's placed just below the foot peg????
I love your bare bones down to earth reviews👍
Bulu bhai, please make a compilation of good big city bikes like this one. I am not a cruiser guy and am planning on buying a big bike for daily usage. If you could please. Thanks.
How is the pillion comfort? And can we go on long drive or can touring can be done on this bike?
Nice talk but wouldve been nice if you included some riding review shots 👍
6:57 Elephant on left :D
I first thought how could I miss such a big animal then I click on the time code and saw an RE 😂😂😂.
Hello from Canada ! Very nice review. Do you know where i can buy those passenger grab handles ? I am desperatly looking for those for more than six months... thank you .
i own an Avenger that too with a top box fitted at the rear end so i guess in my case, it wont be any problem with the length of bike. correcto ?
bulu bhai superb video man... quiet useful points highlighted...well done brwoi...
Sir I am a big big fan of yours!!!
Just one question: should I buy this bike or the Hyosung Aquila 650
Steven Gerrard that is a good question. I think this would be a better bike than GV 650... Though I would let the experts comment on this
Kawasaki Vulcan S is the motorcycle to go.
What is the milage for Valcan and Versys in city & highway? What is distance coveted on one full tank for both bikes??
Loved your way of bike review...learning alot!
I belong to a small City near Indore. After watching Now I know, what do the riders mean when they say HUGE TRAFFIC!
Hi Bullubhai.... i often travel with my wife. Any long ride pillion review for the vulcan?
@bulubiker please tell me will its low ground clearance be too much of a problem during long rides in India like to Himachal and Ladakh
Is this full black colour available in India? In 2022 ?
Which superbikes best for city roads
How exactly is the braking on your harley davidson street 750? I am planning to buy one, but I am skeptical regarding its brakes.
its parallel twin
Nice review Bulu bhai but now you got me confused between the Versys and Vulcan.
Hi sir , the competitior for this bike would be the Street Rod :D Not street 750
Can you please arrange a coparission video with RE Super Meteor 650 and Kawasaki Vulcan S???
Too late, I already bought a Kawasaki Vulcan 903.
Am happy.... u r of my hight... ! N u ride afrika twin??? Amazing...waiting for Honda H'ness cb350 review..

You never talked about lack of centre stand!
Thanks for the review. My friend found it very useful as I said.
I think I missed a chance to ride this bike🤦🏻♂️

Bhai what do you think about Apache RR 310 vs KTM RC 390/ Duke390 which one is better for the Indian road???
can u plz suggest me a combination of sports n cruiser bike. budget 10L. height is 5.4
Bulu Bhai you can say the same thing for Triumph street twin !
Really really talented job with intro. That crowded riding testing is the best in the world. Thanks from Texas. May Jesus Christ bless you.

Which one is more comfortable to ride vulcan or verses 650? Both for pillion and rider
Anyday Versys buddy
Simple and near complete review
Bulu brother , any suggestions how to protect underside of the bike given the low ground clearance
Which is more peppy bike in throttle response....
Does it have heating issue in City traffic
This bike would be perfect if it had mid foot legs/controls instead of forward.
Can I get a second hand/used? Vulcan s
I have no idea what he said but that's a nice bike
viva1amota don’t you speak English?
I did take test ride of this cruiser. I loved it & want to buy it soon.. The only hitch I’ve is the ground clearance. @130mm it will surly scrape the humps in the city. Is there a riding technique to help it not scrape or how damage it can do if it scrapes regularly? Is there any other realistic solution for this concern?
Great review! Sub added!👍
I m in a search of adventure cruiser , and I want some miles in leh &laddakh
i will go for yezdi Roadster ....power bike in 2.5L range
Where did you buy your passenger handles
Axeoul Axeloupi that's available as stock in India
Yeah they are sweet
Wow. U covered each and everything about the bike. 👍🏻
Hi Bulu Biker
Very good review. How much was the ground clearance issue during your ride? You did touch this point in your review, however I wanted a bit more clarity. I presently ride Royal Enfield Desert Storm, which has 135mm ground clearance and this is 130 mm. I ride the RE on weekends for 100-400 km rides usually and never had any ground clearance issues on highways and countryside roads.
However due to the long wheel base, it may have a different practical impact. So, please let me know more on it, as I have already booked this bike and expecting delivery shortly.
At this price company should give dual disk at front
Hi brother..what abt taller riders riding this bike??
