Hello ACDC fans, I'm from Australia 🇦🇺 and I have a story you might enjoy. It was the early days when the boys were just starting to break ground in the Australian music scene, even at that early stage the band was well known by young people such as myself (back in the day) one day a bunch of us (girls and guys) were in a pub in Katoomba, NSW (all underage) anyway a bus pulls up and out jump the band & road and rock into the pub for a beer, needless to say we were all stoked. They were on their way to preform a concert in a town named Bathurst, by the time they got to Bathurst the mayor had banned them from playing because he thought they were a bad influence on the kids. I'm 64 yrs old now and its something I've and will never forget.
Minha primeira cassete..dada por um amigo que a encontrou tirada numa obra de construção civil... deu-me porque sabia que eu gostava deles... era ACDC ao vivo..blood . tocou sempre até arrebentar... tinha na altura..16
"a bad influence on the kids" Wot, and talks of thermonuclear war, plagues, corrupt leadership, piss for schools ain't bad influence enough? We need more o' the original rattle & hum from Angus, Bon, Malcom. Maybe then we'll all just head bang in peace, "all in the name o' Liberty!" Only 50 here but, damn it, grew up on Aca Daca in the States. Do believe Bonn knew once he came in that they were destined to be exactly what they are today, the world's greatest band. R.I.P. -- Bonn Ride On -- Malcom
@Geoff Morris '78/'79 were excellent years for live recordings and sound quality - Whitesnake's "Live in the heart of the city", Judas Priest's "Unleashed in the east', UFO's "Strangers in the night", Cheap Trick's "Live at Budokan".... or even Kiss Alive 1975 (and way better sound quality than Alive 2 in 1977)
Yes it does sound wicked. This sounds to me like the same mix as appears on the 'If you want blood' album, which I believe was recorded at the Apollo Glasgow, in which case ( I would imagine) it will have been a full multi track recording of all the channels coming from the stage split and sent out to a mobile recording studio parked out the back. This recording could then be mixed and mastered to produce the album, and also synced to this fantastic footage. There is also a video of Riff Raff from the same gig here. th-cam.com/video/ErXbMB9R5-0/w-d-xo.html
Is that why Flash is Flash? I dont see him even reachin Angus Ankles by the way media brings him up. I said it before ill say it again. Theres only one guitarist that had Angus Youngs Enenergy. He had da rythem to move with da beat n his passion... He was in a band that i hated... till i seen ( I break it down for da nookie!) Then he got booted! Then dirks n that band sucked my balls!
Just watched this video for the 652nd time. PURE ROCK AND ROLL. AC/DC at their absolute PEAK, in my opinion. There was never anything like this before it, and there will never be anything like it ever again.
Christ alive, this is raw as fuck and tight as hell...top of their game and utterly utterly brilliant...I can’t tell you how much I love this...there will never be another band like them.....👏👏👏👏
Meant that there would never be a band like this classic line up...the B.Johnson years were good but Bon Scott was a different level....and this is pure gold...👏👏👏🎸
That evening in Glasgow, the band was touched by divine grace in their native stronghold. The result? The best version of this song of all his career, played by the best formation of musicians that this band has known. Amen ⚡
Why the hell are you propagating some bullshit like this. There is nothing but what is now. No outside influence from space or some weird shit. Get over yourself and think about the vastness of your ignorance dammit.
Back in the seventies when they hit the stage you new it from the second they hit that stage everybody stood up and head bang for those fortunate enough to have seen AC DC with Bon Scott for those not fortunate enough but not old enough keep watching videos like this and enjoy it Long Live Bon Scott Long Live Malcolm Young

Angus and Bon were truly the ultimate duo. A wild man and a wild boy. (Even if they were both adults) their stage presence and dynamic together is unmatched, even to this day. That part of ACDC died with bon. No more carrying his little protege on his shoulders
When a reporter suggested to Angus that he was one of the best guitarists in the world he would reply that he wasn't even the best player in his family.
That’s absolutely true! I can’t think of anyone guitar or not that could keep up with Angus on stage. Ever! Now that he’s older with white hair he’s still giving it his all. He may not move a quick as he once did but godammit he still does his thing that only he can do. 🤘😈
I would love them to come back to Manchester in the future soon!!! I want to see them live once in my lifetime too but it won’t be the same without Bon 🥺😢😭
+Heitor Brentan Easily a legend. What makes Bon awesome wasn't him hitting this note or singing in these octaves, what made him special is he "just had something"...and great art can NOT be defined. Bon left some amazing work and Brian did a nice job taking that spot, but man we can only speculate just how big an icon Bon would have become....he was so awesome because when you watched him sing you immediately got the sense, "yea....this cat belongs on the planet doing exactly what he's doing"....Bon's voice rules forever.

Sadly, not anymore. He can still do his famous duck walk, but he can't stand on top of an amp thats about half his size and jump down. All while headbanging as hard as he can and getting really dizzy and not falling off.
@@Aiden-vg4xs Well, we must admit he would definetly be high AF when he did those things. He probably could do it now but it wouldn't be so easy for a 60 years old man... better not take the risk hahaha

I turned 21 in 1978 and my late older brother bought me tickets to see AC/DC in St. Louis, MO. and again in KCMO where we lived. What a time we had!! I can't believe it was 38 years ago. My Bro passed away in 1992 and I miss the hell out of him but this is one great memory I'll have forever.
No doubt. Now, I'm not one of those knobs that says "I like this one band, and ever other band on earth sucks". That's just stupid. There are plenty of great bands out there. But... There's something about AC/DC that speaks to me, and no other band has it. It's their energy, talent, and likely some stuff that I can't explain. AC/DC forever!
Don’t forget Phil Rudd, solid, dynamic, makes you want to dance. One of my favourite drummers for sure. The drums on back in black and beating around the bush. Classic, and his live set.
Angus, I hope all the band members and your families are well. My name is Dan Anderson, I'm 52 years young and a hardcore lifelong fan. Nobody rocks like AC/DC and Angus; you will go down in history as I believe the best lead guitarist ever. I was lucky enough to see you play in Cleveland about 18 years ago. I just wonder if you remember in between songs it became very dark and quiet. I yelled loudly " ANGUS ROCKS". In the quiet darkness you strummed one cord as a thank you. That was so awesome. Thanks Angus. Nobody rocks like you. God Bless and keep Rockin!!!!!

Bon Scott is, in my humble opinion, perhaps the better of the two great front men to have lead AC/DC, but there’s no denying that Angus Young’s riffs are the powerhouse that drive the band. A true legend!
@@williamlamb43 There is a little bit of truth and fantasies in what you say, no doubt that Malcolm leaded the band rhythm behind the courtain and eyes of the spectators, but what the post originally make reference to, is that Angus is the soul of the band rhythm and show all together, and in this song, he made that two minutes apotheosic ending in which one Malcolm don't even touch his guitar. That is just one example, but in many AC/DC song, happens the same, Angus is the pilar of the band!

@PHONOGRAPH Ok let me see you run around the stage and jump and do what he does. Playing well does not make you a rock star, performance does.
Minha primeira cassete..dada por um amigo que a encontrou tirada numa obra de construção civil... deu-me porque sabia que eu gostava deles... era ACDC ao vivo..blood
. tocou sempre até arrebentar... tinha na altura..16
"a bad influence on the kids"
Wot, and talks of thermonuclear war, plagues, corrupt leadership, piss for schools ain't bad influence enough?
We need more o' the original rattle & hum from Angus, Bon, Malcom. Maybe then we'll all just head bang in peace, "all in the name o' Liberty!"
Only 50 here but, damn it, grew up on Aca Daca in the States. Do believe Bonn knew once he came in that they were destined to be exactly what they are today, the world's greatest band.

I love him when he plays rocker makes me so hyped
I can not believe how good the sound mix was from 1978. That's the best I have ever heard!
Think I agree
My father saw them on this tour in Bristol in his words. "Fucking loud as fuck and joyful" even quo has trouble beating this shit !!!
@@juwbone it’s the same mix. It was the first album I ever bought, on cassette tape. I wore it out.

Bon Scott is, in my humble opinion, perhaps the better of the two great front men to have lead AC/DC, but there’s no denying that Angus Young’s riffs are the powerhouse that drive the band. A true legend!
I would have to disagree. It's actually Malcolm's rhythm playing that serves as the driving force that Angus is propelled from.
Bon is up there with the Greats
No doubt that Bon Scott is the greatest frontman from the band, however Brian is also fantastic.
