More great work! I can't wait for Part 3. Coincidentally just as I finished this video my yard guy and his crew arrived at my house. He has been mowing my yard for over 25 years at reduced rate because when he started, he knew I was a divorced mom of three kids on a teacher's salary and he wanted to help out just like you do.
When I see these homes looking uninhabitable on the outside it really gives me concern for the living conditions inside. Thank you for helping it's inspiring, we all can help someone in need.
Oh wow, I might be a wacko, but the end result made me feel so emotional……because you’ve liberated what must have been a very loved yard. The evidence was all hidden! The elderly gentleman must be feeling liberated as well. Just wonderful. Thank you for making his day.

Sean, I could watch you all day, you don't shy away from hard work. Age creeps up on all of us, I now have gardener as the work is too hard from me. I am fortunate that I can afford one, but it must be hard for some looking out at their gardens, that they use to cherish but can longer do. That's where our Knight Sean comes to the rescue. Great work as usual, waiting fot the next part. 💯👌👍👏

@@Eric-kf6dy often very neglected too but not always. Unfortunately with the care packages councils offer home cleaning and necessary medical equipment prescribed by OT's but very rarely garden and landscaping as too little funding in packages and way too much OH&S problems.

Having just bought my own home and having next to no lawn to deal with (think dirt and bindiis), watching your videos teaches me what NOT to do with planning how I want my yard to look like. Seeing how overgrown a yard can become and how much effort is required to rescue it, makes me reassess how I want it to be. I love how methodical you are and I love these freebies you do for people who are in need. Speaking as a person who has trouble doing physical tasks, the relief these people must feel when you swoop in and rescue their yards must be huge. Thank you for all that you do.

The reality will be when the owner moves out (under whatever circumstances or reason) the place will be sold and the existing building knocked down and a new one built... it's just the nature of the property market in Sydney...
@@davidking3699 Same crap will happen in Melbourne, they will knock it down, jam 3 units on the property. Sadly it's the way governments etc are pushing high density, less space.
@@matthewfarrell317 yes I often say now that one of our previous mayor’s in Brisbane would love how it looks now with all the acres and acres of townhouse after townhouse going in and high rise apartments in so much of the city. He wanted anyone who had a decent block to subdivide and add another house in the backyard. Well it’s happened. The fence line of so many houses meets the gutter of the house next door. 👍

Sean, you are a legend. I couldn’t even imagine living in amongst all of that. I like to see what is trying to bite me. How do communities and family let this happen to the elderly. I know they don’t like to ask for help as it is not in their vocabulary. In saying all of this, a big Thankyou from someone who appreciates what you do for others. You have the real Australian spirit.
I enjoy watching these transformations but I've had 5 lumbar back surgeries in the past and watching these vids makes it hurt. This yard was absolutely transformative.👍👏👏👏👏🤪 Maybe someone will paint his home.

Yes , sadly it is all too common with the elderly or the infirm in many country’s nowadays… either they don’t have family around them or they are wanting to be alone. I worked in the community for many years . Social services provides the basics but there is nothing like community to band together. It starts with looking after your neighbour and saying hello.
Only way I can watch a hunk do yard work without feeling weird about it ❤️

Having the right tool sure makes a difference. You make it look so easy! While my Brother & Sister-in-law are here to await the smoke clearance in Tahoe, he's convinced me I should buy a battery-operated hedge trimmer, to make it easier to not procrastinate with gardening d/t always waiting for my Hospice phone to ring.---Are there service organizations in your area that can coordinate volunteers to take on his dwelling? It could use a refresher to match your gardening work!---(I could vaguely detect music in the beginning...was it supposed to be heard?!)
