The fact that you Kevin and your father prayed with that gentleman, maybe the highlight of the whole video, because the compassion you showed towards him and then the prayer may be what he needed to hear especially if he has not accepted Christ into his life. God never promised us life would be easy but he never leaves us even though we may not always be worthy of his Love and Mercy. He is only a prayer away. Thank you for standing up for God in your daily walk.
My gosh Kevin...thank you! That was so kind and loving of you. I love seniors. Lived with my grandparents on their farm while my father was sick with cancer. Learned alot from them..we worked side by side. Said my prayers every night before hopping into a big feather bed. Grandma had pinned a little cross to my nightgown. Just sharing some memories 🙏

As a youngsters I would hang out with an old man like him . He taught me how too make my 1st bike from scrapped old bikes. When he passed away I was 1 of the few lids that came to his funeral. HIS KIDS ASKED WHO i WAS and how I knew their father. I told them and how he also helped me rebuild my 1st engine for my junk car. Come too find out he was an Engineer for FORD for 33 yrs.

@@rhondamoore1682 I was not sure about the rain either but you could tell by how wer the grass was coming out the discharge chute, or that it had rained and the grass was wet.

I wish I would have been filming up by the truck when that happened. It looked like a horror show. I had blood all over my truck. I got it under control though
You do so much for people who are down and out! I am never that lucky, I must of done something wrong in my past life. I've worked hard my whole life up to my rollover accident which left me 100% disabled and unable to work now. I've been homeless and without a vehicle and worked very hard for everything I had. Kevin, love you guys ❤! I’m deathly allergic to poison ivy and my grandma always had me shower using lye soap and not rinse and air dry. I’d suggest you keep a bottle of water mixed with lye soap and spray it on you when you know you’ll be exposed to it.

I can sympathize Kevin. I was working in the Kitchen one day back when I was in the Air Force and was slicing turkey breasts on the slicer.
I got distracted for half a second and cut the entire thumbnail off my left hand. Didn't even know I had done it till one of the gals screamed I was bleeding all over.
That sounds so painful!!!!
It actually didn't start hurting till the person at the emergency room started cleaning and dressing it 🤣 The slicer was pretty sharp and it came off clean.

Cut finger? Been there, done that. Last time I was cutting a zip tie off of a tarp - utility knife slipped and got my thumb instead. Also, like yours, kinda deep - went into the bathroom from outside and dripped all over the bathroom floor trying to get my 'first aid' box (actually an envelope box covered with contact paper to match stuff in the bathroom with a red '+' taped to it). Grabbed a big 'clump' of TP to prevent bleeding on the floor; when I got the box, I grabbed gauze and tape, rinsed my thumb with real cold water and wrapped it up tightly (then cleaned the floor). I can barely see the scar but did get a Tetanus shot (over 5 years since I had one). Good thing the sight of blood (at least on me) doesn't bother me other than knowing I might have a mess to clean up. I have used TP and scotch tape as a make-shift bandage before.
