Please remember, I’m only using the items that I have on hand and I did not go out and specifically buy anything new for this tablescape. Your suggestions are welcomed and invited. Just keep in mind that I am currently only using the items that are presently available in my home. 😊
Hi Scott, its Desiree! ☺️ You are so sweet to have me in your video!! I adore you, you're so fun, a wealth of knowledge, and you decorate so wonderfully. You got some goodies for sure! The table is beautiful, just lovely! Hope to see you on the trail soon! 🤗🩵
Scott, instead of holding onto your white, blue, and even red glass for the winter, you should consider having a patriotic sale. A lot of people decorate with red, white, and blue glass for Memorial Day through the Fourth of July. Flag day is right in the middle of those two as well. It’s just an idea, you might want to consider so you don’t have to store it for so long. I really enjoy your channel.
Once again I enjoyed my time with you, Scott. : ) Felt like I was there helping you fiddle around with your watermelon table settings. Looking forward ....
I used my Fenton Silver Crest chip and dip set for Easter. I had deviled eggs in the bowl and chopped black olives (for sprinkling) in the dip piece. I probably won't drag it out again until Christmas, but it always looks so pretty.
OMG! Your tablesetting is beautiful! Here is what is missing, in my humble opinion: pink roses with baby's breath in the center vase, tea lights spread out and Caspari paper napkins with a delicate design that would give the table a touch of 2024... I would love it to sit at that table.
LIVING for this tablescape Scott!! I discovered console bowls this past year but had been collecting frogs for a few years, really love what you did! Cheers!
There are so many fakes that look like the real thing with Murano. You have to be really careful. That sticker means a lot. Thanks for the shopping trip. I may put my pink and green depression glass out together. It looks really good.
I think the pink and green is gorgeous! They are my two favorites and I didn’t even know about watermelon glass! Now that I do-watch out checking account!!!
Love the table setting. Very spring. I have a set of 6 pink plates you picked up. Glad to now know what era they're from. My mom gave them to me years ago.😊
You read my mind! I was thinking green or pink vase for center (i'd just go with green vase). @chitchatwithgrannypat7900 would approve 😂 great haul love all your goodies. You have very discerning eye for classy items.
Love the watermelon table setting! I would suggest that a white or off white tablecloth would look best. It would not compete with the color of the dishes😁
Hi Scott!! I have been watching you for awhile, but have never left a comment. I started collecting pink and green depression glass a few months ago. Love that you are putting them together too!!
I like how subtle the green is, and how it all gives off an old-fashioned yellow tint. It makes for a grownup looking table…which is tricky with that color combo. It’s not that bad with the pink tablecloth, imo.
That beautiful view when you were driving.the buildings the cars the colors just beautiful 😂😂😂 looked like a movie from the 50s had to take a screenshot ❤❤❤
Although not a fan of yellow that unusual Fostoria yellow bowl was quite lovely; very beautiful decoration.. And the milk glass basket was awesome. Try turning your new unusual pink compote up side down & place the large frog lady on the center. I really like the green serving tray with handles.
Love the green❤ You do know it aint easy being green, dont you?😊 Anyway, when i was in art school the most worn out expression used by students during critique was "Less is more". 😮❤
Im learning so much! Im not a collector, but am a 1920s 30s fan of the music, fashion and all the pretties. Thanks for taking me along. Id rather go shopping with you than some family and friends. Lol. Love the pink and green. Just gotta mess around with it, youll figure it out.
Scott would you sometime give a tutorial on how to tell what kind of wood furniture is made from? I can tell oak and pine but other than that I have no idea. Thanks so much for sharing knowledge on so many different things.
How lovely Scott, I would just use the green vase and fill with pink colored flowers as the centerpiece. It's great for a Spring time luncheon with the ladies!
Love today's video.....shopping, learning, and decorating. Love the pink and green...you've inspired me to add some pink to my uranium glass collection.
Scott, I am living for all the pink and green! Glad you're enjoying experimenting with different ideas! I am a huge fan of 'mix and match' and prefer it over everything being 'match-y, match-y'. I also like to layer my items to create more levels of interest. I would love to find a set of those 'watermelon glass' water glasses! Keep experimenting, keep having fun and live your best life! I love it! 💗 💚
I asked my Mother for her collection of pink & green depression glassware. Wish I would have known you Scott before I sold alot of it. Love your watermelon table!!!
I cringed when you picked up your milk glass basket by the handle! I re-lived the moment that I did that and the handle separated from the basket on one side.😮. I glued it and it’s in my china cabinet but I will always know it’s damaged. You found some great things as always. Your watermelon glass table scape is gorgeous.💕
Oh no! 🙀Might I suggest that your basket was probably already damaged or suffered a manufacturing flaw. Good quality glass baskets, such as those made by Fenton and West Moreland have fire fused handles which are very sound. Thanks for watching.
What a fun shopping day. Like when I visit my cousin and we bounce between NJ and PA, a little bit north of your circuit. You have a great collection of pink and green elegant glass pieces. And some nice menu suggestions. 😊
Hi Scott - I love your table setting but I think a white tablecloth would set off your glassware. A large bunch of pink tulips in the center would complete your table scape. If you can find circular rice paper napkins, they look gorgeous under your plates, just a thought. Love your channel. Hello from Canada’s West Coast😊
Go to a good garden center and select a few garden rose bushes. Don’t buy bare root. Plant and harvest the blooms for your displays. The garden center will tell you the soil and food to buy. The only problem you may have are aphids.
Hello Scott! Gee wiz I had a great time visiting your site today!! Well Done You!! Your content and narration are getting really great! If I was a producer, I'd hire you in a flash! Hey, I thought of a solution for your wrinkled linens! I'm old, 77, and perhaps you are not old enough but I'll give it a try....Do you by any chance remember the old automatic ironing machines which you sat and fed the cloth through a heated roller? Very 30/40's or 40/50's? It would fit well into your basement if you ever were fortunate enough to come across one. In all my thrifting years, I only came across one, and that one was already sold 😢. Anyway, I truly love you and your production. Hope we can spend many more fun times together! Big Hugs from Grumpy Granny from Mio, MI
Always a treat to find a video from the old curiosity shop 😊 Love to shop along with you Scott. Wednesday is senior discount day at goodwill in Delaware county pa 35% off for folks 55 years and up. The only glass I found was iris and herringbone 😖💕💚the pink and green watermelon tablescape.
Hi there Scott. The tablescape looks soooo pretty! I love how it turned out. Some pink tulips with their green leaves would look beautiful in that center vase 🌷. But I love it just as it is too ☺️. Well done!🩷💚🩷💚🩷💚🩷💚🩷💚
No, that isn’t the reason why I haven’t gotten a new cat. During the 20 years that I had Salem, he never broke a single thing so I’m not worried about getting another cat because of glassware. Simply putting it the time just hasn’t been right.. thank you for asking
I've been stalking your eBay store for last couple of months to see if you were going to put that big green vase up for sale. I think I have my answer for now. 😋
Scott, your friend Deserée would have boughten the first clear glass bowl because the glass patterns resembles a fabulous Italian Milliflorée medallion pattern. You may regret your decision to leave behind. Thnx
😂 I just found mine (Iris and herringbone bowl) for 2.99 I never see them but last week I did had to buy it! 😂 Love all your finds great video as always! ❤
So I’ve managed to accumulate a few piece for a watermelon table (never thought it possible where I live) amd I was wondering if a little dark green, like a piece you found recently, might be a nice addition to the table, seeing as how watermelons are sometimes depicted with light and dark green. 🍉 and then I think my brainstorm went too far with white something( but you do have that in the lace) and black for the seeds (like salt and pepper shakers) 😄 thanks for the idea, is fun
Please remember, I’m only using the items that I have on hand and I did not go out and specifically buy anything new for this tablescape. Your suggestions are welcomed and invited. Just keep in mind that I am currently only using the items that are presently available in my home. 😊
What is your e bay account name please?
Hi Scott, its Desiree! ☺️ You are so sweet to have me in your video!! I adore you, you're so fun, a wealth of knowledge, and you decorate so wonderfully. You got some goodies for sure! The table is beautiful, just lovely! Hope to see you on the trail soon! 🤗🩵
You are so welcome! See you in Columbus!!!!
Name twins!
The glass fruit and vegetables were sold in Copperart stores in Australia in the 1990's for $2 each.
Thanks Scott, that was awesome video...I like the green glass vase as the centerpiece also...and yes..maybe a beige or ecru tablecloth...❤
Scott, instead of holding onto your white, blue, and even red glass for the winter, you should consider having a patriotic sale. A lot of people decorate with red, white, and blue glass for Memorial Day through the Fourth of July. Flag day is right in the middle of those two as well. Fun table. I never heard of watermelon glass until I listened to you. Very pretty.
Once again I enjoyed my time with you, Scott. : ) Felt like I was there helping you fiddle around with your watermelon table settings. Looking forward ....
I think the big white Fenton basket would be nice for Easter also.
I used my Fenton Silver Crest chip and dip set for Easter. I had deviled eggs in the bowl and chopped black olives (for sprinkling) in the dip piece. I probably won't drag it out again until Christmas, but it always looks so pretty.
Hi Scott, I would keep the center of the table simple, leave the green vase, add pink tulips, and there's your center piece !
My mother had that milk glass basket. She filled it with greens and red bulbs at Christmas, stunning!
I have the same basket. My friend gave it to me, it was her mother’s. She knows that I collect milk glass.
OMG! Your tablesetting is beautiful! Here is what is missing, in my humble opinion: pink roses with baby's breath in the center vase, tea lights spread out and Caspari paper napkins with a delicate design that would give the table a touch of 2024... I would love it to sit at that table.
Love it..i would do a white tablecloth, would really let the pink and green show!
I like the spring table scape. Very beautiful

Pink and green, so pretty together!! I don't think pink stinks!! 😄
This was an especially fun post today. All my favorite things! Thanks Scott. Always fun to hang out with you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
WOW Scott! Your table setting looks great!
Love the footage on the bridge
The yellow bowl is beautiful!
Your dinner table looks lovely with your pink and green dishes.
Love all the pink and green!
Scott dear just remove the green plate from the center. I like the ruffle piece with the green vase.😊
Yes, I thought the same. The white doilies ( not sure if they are German, lol) looks nice underneath.
I luv setting pretty table 😊
You read my mind! I was thinking green or pink vase for center (i'd just go with green vase). @chitchatwithgrannypat7900 would approve 😂 great haul love all your goodies. You have very discerning eye for classy items.
Scott, the trend now for the kiddos is to use mismatched patterns. Your table is beautiful, so whatever your heart desires goes!
That was fun, Scott. Love to go long thrifting with you. Enjoyed the city view.
Oh my goodness thank you so much!
Love it all, but I really love the tumblers! The lady frog is beautiful too
My Murano glass fruit came from the dollar tree store when I bought it in 1996 for a dollar a piece. Still got it in a bowl around here somewhere.
I like how subtle the green is, and how it all gives off an old-fashioned yellow tint. It makes for a grownup looking table…which is tricky with that color combo. It’s not that bad with the pink tablecloth, imo.
GORGEOUS TABLE!!!!!!❤️🌹😊
I like going up and down the aisles with you.
I love where you’re going with this. Beautious!!!
I love the table display so much spring summer drama.
Thank you kindly. I am going to enjoy experimenting with different pieces in different positions.
Your home is beautiful. Thanks for teaching me about glass. Your shopping is great!
I'm so glad you bought the beautiful yellow bowl.😊
That beautiful view when you were driving.the buildings the cars the colors just beautiful 😂😂😂 looked like a movie from the 50s had to take a screenshot ❤❤❤
WoW ! Throughly enjoy your videos, your settings are beautiful, much love to you, and all, from me in the UK, keep on thrifting, ❤
Although not a fan of yellow that unusual Fostoria yellow bowl was quite lovely; very beautiful decoration.. And the milk glass basket was awesome. Try turning your new unusual pink compote up side down & place the large frog lady on the center. I really like the green serving tray with handles.

Love the yellow bowl.
I love the green flower frog girl...a few years ago in Savers thrift store for ten dollars I bougtht the peach boy frog and sold it for $600.00😊
What a beautiful room 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💚💕
Thank you! 🤗
Ooooooo...some of pieces would do well in my upcoming vintage glass and jewelry sale!!!!❤️🌹😊
I think you should try a natural color tablecloth... I feel that the pink is washing out all the beautiful glass!! Thanks for taking us along!
I LOVE the watermelon glass table settings you have created! I think pink gingham napkins would really brighten up the table.
Scott, you can sell the milk glass with yellow and do a sunmer color sale. Maybe add a little green.
I love mismatched!
The table setting is STUNNING 💚💗 You need either Long stemmed pink Roses or for more casual gerberers😊
Scott would you sometime give a tutorial on how to tell what kind of wood furniture is made from? I can tell oak and pine but other than that I have no idea. Thanks so much for sharing knowledge on so many different things.
I love the yellow bowl!
Looks so lovely. Just in time for Spring too! Love it! Great eye for decorating a table.
You really have talent Scott!
How lovely Scott, I would just use the green vase and fill with pink colored flowers as the centerpiece. It's great for a Spring time luncheon with the ladies!

Absolutely beautiful table setting, Scott. Loved today’s videos.
Glad you like them!
Pretty pretty glass!!!!
I have the pink , and green , it just makes a lovely table!😊
I asked my Mother for her collection of pink & green depression glassware. Wish I would have known you Scott before I sold alot of it. Love your watermelon table!!!
What a great Easter tablescape that would make!
I haven’t seen you in some time.
I’m looking forwards to an updated tour around your latest work you’ve done.
Fun.😊
I cringed when you picked up your milk glass basket by the handle! I re-lived the moment that I did that and the handle separated from the basket on one side.😮. I glued it and it’s in my china cabinet but I will always know it’s damaged.

@@oldcuriosityshop265 thanks Scott . Somehow that makes me feel better.
I love the pink and green.
Never too busy!
Doesn't that tablescape beg for an Easter brunch? It's lovely!
Or a May birthday!🙌🏻

😅Napkins would pull it all together and make all the difference.
I like it & I’ll iron the linens if I could come to the luncheon.
I still think a buttery yellow tablecloth would accent but not compete with the pink and green glass. Imho. 😊
I think she would look nice in any
Pink or white base
Bowl. I like all of
The bowls you
Picked out. Great
Taste.😊
Thank you! 😊
Fun ❤❤❤
Is all the beautiful glass on your tables the reason you've not gotten a new kitty? Love it all so pretty!

So happy that you didn’t use black for the table…..
