Yes...I did see and was meaning to buy the Northwood cherry cream and sugar that was on the shelf under the pink depression glass. Sadly I got so excited about the pink mayo set that I forgot to place the Northwood in my basket. That pattern was reproduced but the examples in this store were antiques. Drat I simply forgot to pick them up.
I was really surprised when you said people say rude, unkind things on your channel Scott.Your vlogs are interesting, funny, fact filled..I always look forward to your filming, fact sharing and hilarious quips..so undeserved😊😊😊
I can't wait to see the black glass piece with the gold paint removed!
Ooooooooo.........That cocktail shaker!!!
Mint!!!⭐💯💚
oh.. the .. buzzin of the bees in the cigarette trees .. the soda water fountain .. the lemonade spring where the bluebird sings .. on the big rock candy mountain -- so many years ago
I still sing this! 😂
That green pottery vase would look beautiful with a plant in it on your front porch
Congratulations finding the art deco black glass bowl Scott! Can’t wait to see it without the gold paint! The big green vase is gorgeous❣️
Last week for $6 I bought that exact juicer in cream color vgc.
Today I bought a bag of oranges...push real hard down to get a little bit of juice.
I went back to my reamer green depression glass and works much better.
So the juice o matt will go in the antique store that I sell in 😅
You crack me up the way you said after a long pause of looking at that picture… I don’t believe I care for that artwork 😂
Hello Scott. I like all your finds today but the floor vase is my favorite. The vase would look cool by your front door with a few vintage walking canes or umbrellas ☂️.
That yellow glass bowl is gorgeous! My guess is it's French made. I'm no expert by any means, but it has a "glow" about it in natural sunlight that I have seen before in glass that I know was made in France. Anyway, I love it, nice find!
Robinson Ransbottom went out of business in 2005. They often have "RRP "stamped on the bottom.
Pleeeeeeeease don't keep us in suspense about that painted black glass beauty! A follow-up would be appreciated! Also, I had the same idea as another commenter here: that floor vase would look spectacular next to your front door with some period-appropriate canes or bumbershoots.
That "bull on sofa" print made you search for words lol.. 🤣The topaz "beauty booty" bowl and blue lamp mighty fine. That store had some good finds!! Can't wait to see that blk pedestal bowl without da gold!! What a fun trip. I'm with ya on using used thermos or anything plastic...nasty. Score on miss america! those plates run almost $30/each. Boston Terriers figurine ♥ That urn is hot; would look great with some dried pampas grass flumes or peacock feathers.
I love the coctail shaker. You found so many beautiful items. I would never buy a used thermos cup. I just love your humour.
Love that electric burner! Hope it works.
Love the cocktail shaker. The red lucite handle Gorgeous
Wow the cocktail set!
Hi Scott, Miss Francis, and "Big Rock Candy Mt. ....I'm 5 years old again ! I love all your little vintage film interjections ! I hope you find a Tiffany lamp out in the "Wild". Happiness, Cindy🌻
I love the green floor vase! Great thrifting. Have a Good Friday night!
You don't want an Albino Highland cow reclining on a green, tufted Victorian sofa on your wall? Tut-tut.
Awesome finds Scott!! 👍🏻🕊️😁
I believe the yellow console bowl is trident yellow by Heisey.
Yes I always walk both ways down aisles, especially where thing are randomly stacked. Love that lemon server. And ALL of the etched stemware.
Hello, Miss Frances! Hello, Scott! Wow! You found some amazing pieces! I can’t wait to see the black glass vessel with the gold paint gone.
hello
No way
Some glorious finds today Scott. I love the back piece you will liberate from the sloppy gold paint, and the yellow oval bowl, it is quite extraordinary. That floor vase would be a great umbrella stand. You had very good luck today. I would not buy used personal thermoses either…they just never seem clean to me.🖤🇨🇦
Woot! Love the Radisson Ransbottom vase, and the yellow console bowl. Ya did good, Scott. Have a lovely weekend.
I collect turkey plates and platters. I never find them that cheap. I display them at Thanksgiving time.
Re that planter- early 20th century little boys commonly were dressed in dresses for potty training ease. Also just accepted to be”unbreeched” (not wearing pants) as old as age 8 👖
Yes, I know. I have many old family photographs of boys who sometimes wore dresses until age 5. This piece of pottery however dates to the 1940s.
@@oldcuriosityshop265 i think they can still reference earlier eras/practices in the 40s 🤷♀️ no hard cutoff date
That black glass is beautiful. You find the most unique items. Love the green glaze vase 😍
That mayonnaise set is gorgeous. I will admit that for some reason I love turkey planters like the one filled with silk flowers in the beginning of this video. I have no idea why, but I love them. You are a wealth of knowledge, and I learn so much every time I watch. Thank you!
Joan, I do to and I don’t know why I gravitate towards them either! 😁
Wonderful finds
Another great video! Love the green floor vase and mostly everything else ❤
Wow, Scott, you found some great stuff today. I liked everything, but that green vase made my socks roll down to my ankles, and they are knee-high boot socks!
I think those are blackberries, aren't they??? Cant wait to see how the black glass looks without the paint - Un-transformations are as much fun as transformations. The yellow glass bowl is beautiful!
We went by Big Rock Candy Mountain yesterday to pickup a couple of old Bakelite Zenith radios!!! ⛰️
Love you and your style so much!
That floor vase is a killer!
Such great stuff Scott. Like the etched glasses with the amber bases!
Scott very funny & lucky THRIFT HULL I'm getting nerve-wracking Waiting for the TOP SECRET MARK on the lamp you pick up a few videos back.
The Ransbottom vase would look good with some nice fancy walking sticks and beautiful ladies parasoles.
What a day full of treasures! Especially that cocktail set! Scott I haven't read the comments yet and I hope I may be right but that gorgeous console bowl...... Isn't that Trident by Heisey Glass Company? If so I believe I've actually seen the stunning candle holders before! What some incredible thrifts as always! 🙏
You are correct! I've never seen that shape console bowl, but Replacements has it, good eye.
Hi Scott…how are you? I’ve been watching you a while now…when you did a lot of shows on the 39:08 39:08 kitchen cabinets. But I really love how you do things now. It’s great to go picking with you❣️A dream come true for the wonderful pieces you find…we just don’t have it near as much as you do.Lucky guy!
I love how you explain about things…but mostly I like your spirit. You are so kind and patient and giving. I haven’t written before…but I am signed up to buy something 😁 But Scott…after watching this video, I must make a plea to you. Do not sell that beautiful pottery urn or jar…or whatever it’s called. It’s just too gorgeous. A work of art. Keep it. Your house belongs to it. Put peacock feathers in it…or umbrellas…or giant candy canes at Christmas. It’s just such a rarity these days. Well, keep up how you are doing things now. It’s so much fun and so are you😁Sincerely, Debbie Holder
PS…you can probably figure out how old I am…because come on…who signs their text messages?😂
Stellar finds, love the RR floor vase beautiful!
It's astonishing the quality of your finds; hoe does this stuff wind up at Goodwill? Are the people oblivious to the age and quality of goods that are so old and fabulous?
Wow! What a haul! That green floor vase is fantastic and will look fabulous on your porch!💚
Scott, I went to Hershey every summer growing up in the 80’s. You wouldn’t believe how much it has changed over the years. It has doubled in size, at least! 🍫
Can’t wait to see that with no gold paint bet it will be beautiful .
Hello Scott ❤
Yes, Cory coffee company! I worked for them in 1980 in Alberta Canada 🇨🇦
When I watch you shop I always hear Anto Sharp saying "That's going straight in my basket!" 😂😂😂
I think the Valentine Chalkware is a boy and girl as toddlers. I've seen illustrations of the 1930's or so where little boys wore short pants and smocks that could look like a little dress. Very cute ❤❤ Love the yellow bowl 💛
❤the red plate.I'd stand it on the window sill for a stain glass effect..you have found some corkers in this vlog...excellent.
Brockwitz have those square feet on some of their bowls. The stylized handles resemble the large rose color bowl you sold awhile back. Love the floor vase.
What a great haul! That vase is superb.
You were on fire today! Love that Victorian soap box, I might even store bars of soap in it. That huge green vase will work in so many places in your bungalow, a nice dash of color. Looking forward to seeing all your finds!
Hi Scott 👋😊. Why yes, yes I do have an inny and not an outy 😂
Maybe use the floor vase as an umbrella stand? Just a thought. It was a great find!!
That black glass piece is gonna be fun to see it restored !!
Wonderful haul. Surprised to see the yellow glass bowl. I have same one in peach (from an estate in Edgewater Park NJ). I always assumed it is European. Still searching for matching candlestick. Keep the great green floor vase.
Wowza!
As always, love shoping with you!
Thanks for continuing to share your knowledge!😊
I have the Cory glass coffee maker. Never knew there was a hot plate to go with it!
I love the lamp!
I have dessert plates that match the bowl at 13:50--a raspberry, an apple, a strawberry, and a blueberry plate.
Awesome find
That yellow bowl is the 14'' trident yellow bowl made by Heisy. It is list on a retail china and glass website I will not mention their name lol. It was made from 1930-37 and they want arm & leg for it lol.
Cats & Kittens…
❤❤❤Great haul ❤❤❤🐈⬛
Not even boiling would erase the thought that possibly Mr. Bill McClanahan of North Fork Iowa may have soaked his dentures in one of those portable drinking cups. 🤮
How’s that for a run on sentence ❤️🐩
You did good!
👋🙌👍
Giggle....."the underpants"!
I guess you passed on the handprinted berry bowl and I’m guessing you did so because there’s limited profit in it. I thought it was lovely. I think collectors under appreciate the talent and skill of the china painters, maybe because they were women, and just dismiss them as hobbyists. Maybe you can do something about that!
No not at all. It’s a lovely piece and it’s currently sitting on my dinning room table. 🙂
@@oldcuriosityshop265great😊😊
The big green vase..olive oil jar
Why are they writing in felt on the pieces opposed to price stickers?
🥦🟦awesome ❤
I was laughing to myself when you zeroed in on the yak/cow picture. Haha I could just imagine the look on your face. Fabulous finds in this video.
