    Hello, I loved your project and I did it too, but it makes a lot of noise, what should I do to reduce the sound?

    It should be noted that there are jumpers on the pins for the X Axis driver that is forcing the stepper to microstep. With the A4988, all 3 jumpers has it set to 1/16th step and on the DRV8825 driver, this would be set to a 1/32nd step.

    Nice work 👍! Can you suggest, how can I estimate the number of gear teeth and stepper motor steps if I want to increase the diameter of the top table plate to 320mm? And where do I need to correct it in the sketch? Thank you))

    Great stuff! Is it possible to add the ability to adjust the rotation speed of the platform?

    With the CNC Shield, do you also need to supply the arduino with a power source?

    Hello. I am testing my step motor at the moment. It works but the motor is very fast and i dont really know how to slow him down. And the second problem: The motor makes much noise and when i hold him by hand into the plastik gear from the turn table its even more louder. How noisy is your build? Thank you

    • @3dprinterart299
      @3dprinterart299  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello my friend, for the first problem: go to the Arduino code that I attached in the files and just decrease some of the numbers I don't remember which one is responsible for the speed but by trial and error you cant find it
      for the second problem: make sure that the stepper motor driver current is adjusted if you don't know how to do that just watch this video
      th-cam.com/video/AVlee67TQxs/w-d-xo.html
      if you adjusted the current and still the motor makes a noise you can use a silent stepper motor driver like (TMC2209) which will solve your problem.

      @@3dprinterart299 thanks for your answer. I already fixed it. With the jumpers on the Board i Made 1/16 steps and now He is very quiet. But thank you for your answer. Do you think he will become even quieter with this other Driver?

    I followed literally step by step and all my stepper motor does is vibrate!!!!!!! THIS IS BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I even threw my older stepper motor away and ordered a new one thinking the old one was just bad.!!!!!!
