I have already ordered that batwing for my 21 1100 and plan on getting the full T package as I go. I wanted the T but found my bike with only 2k miles on it along with an extended warranty until 2027 for just 7500 otd. Definitely a gem of a bike.
Hell yeah, I have the 2023 Honda Rebel 1100 in Iridium Gray as well! I just have the manual version. Only thing I don't like about touring on the 1100 is the fact that the gas tank is only 3.5g.
First off, thanks for watching my channel. Yes, I agree…tank could be a little bigger. But I know plenty of Rebel 1100 riders that did cross country roadtrips with no problem. Filling up gives us an ass break from that seat! 😂🤘🏼
I turned my 2021 Rebel 1100 into a touring bike and have done many many trips. I am petite so the size is good for me, but storage space is low (and I put bigger bags on mine than the T model has)... RPM is kind of high at high speeds, and the range is low with the small gas tank. I also hate having to carry chain maintenance supplies with me. Its not a good touring bike at all, even if I have done thousands of miles doing so. Its a fantastic bike though for non-touring.
@@navimaclife its possible, I've done extended trips. I'd rather have more range, and a belt or shaft though, but it does ok. One of my saddle bags is dedicated to just bike stuff... Air pump, a jack and chain maintenance supplies, and emergency gas canister for sure, battery/jump starter, etc etc... I guess if doing < 600 miles you can leave the chain stuff, but I've done several trips I had to worry about it on the road, then I've filled the other bag, had a large tail bag, and a backpack, and it handles it all great.

I ride the 500 '23 SE at present and will get the 1100 by next weeks Friday or a few days later. I am super excited about the difference! Ride safe! Keep on with your vids as you did by now. Got it meanwhile and it's really amazing! Rides way better than the 500. Due to bad weather I could only do 180 km so far. Hope it will get better next week. I am just up to 4.000-4.500 RPM at present but... man... it really pulls forward 😊👍
So I heard from the Honda dealer that the stock bags wont line up and Rebel. Not even my 1100! They were only made for the 1100T. I wonder if some adjustments can be made! Thanks for watching!
It's so hard to ignore this bike! I'm looking at the insanity of a new Indian Super Chief in the 22k range. I come back and look at this sub 12k brand new ride that I KNOW will be far more reliable, really nice lines, great gas milage, but I'll miss the South Park Varruumm of the BIG American brands. LOL. I do love my old Vstar 1100 from 2001. So, I know I'll really love a new Honda 1100!
Honda does not rip consumers off! They don’t play “supply & demand” like Harley or other companies. Indian is a nice bike, but I’m telling you bro…you’ll LOVE this Rebel 1100! Plus, like you said…RELIABILITY! You can’t beat the price either. Comment back when you buy the Rebel 😉🤘🏼

I think you meant to say DCT. It’s truly personal preference. I myself, love the DCT because of its insanely fast shifting. Twist & go! My brother didn’t want that. He wanted his own clutch. As far as mods, exhaust is number one on his list, then passenger seat/pegs and a Quadlock. Thanks for watching and commenting! 🤘🏼
I apologize, I said that wrong. The metallic black is the bike I reviewed in that video. The iridium gray is my bike. I’ll be honest though, the metallic black does NOT look black. It’s definitely charcoal gray. From 50 feet away it looks black I guess.

You can also carry gas if needed but I agree w the seat issue!
