Brilliant, thanks! I’ve been incorrectly bearing off, getting more upright, and lifting kite up & de-powering - instead of powering up! Explains a lot! I’ll try your suggestions next time, sounds like it’ll result in much higher jumps. :)

Hey KTS, Awesome! Yes, adding some speed really does help with jumping higher. :) That said, what you describe is correct for the second before actually jumping (the Load and Pop) This video explains more just how to get going really fast just before your load and pop.
an example is Getting Speed at 2:31 and Load and pop at 2:34 Hope it helps!

Hey guys I have a question. It's kinda the opposite topic.
All the time when im driving and I use the stopper on my bar for relaxed 1 handed or free handed riding after like 20 sec i start getting faster and faster. I have to remove the stopper and push the bar away to slow down... Is there any way how to keep constant speed while doing this?

Hey, hmm, normally i would never pull in the stopper to ride. You can. but in an emergency, or even an unexpected chop it could cause you to crash hard. (not being able to sheet out) That said, you can manage your speed with your edge. edge hard to slow down. With the stopper pulled down, if you are gaining speed just adjust the stopper out a bit and you would be going slower. That assumes the wind is perfectly consistent and your edge is also holding even tension on the lines... as you can see its a bit tricky.. id recommend simply holding the bar in if you can. then you can make the small adjustment needed with the bar while riding. Hope that helps

@@FlukesKitesurfing wow thank you so much for this detailed explanation. I will definitely keep that in mind. Also I really like your videos... they are very helpful and especially not boring to watch.
