CJ saying “i’m not a test taker, i play football” with his future teammate Will Anderson standing in the background is some crazy foreshadowing, gives me chills honestly lol
Love that clip
Real Texans fans know this rebuild started when Caserio walked in the building in 2021. Reminds me of that quote, "It takes years of hard work to become an overnight success."
Caserio inherited a horrible salary cap, terrible draft capital, and a crybaby QB situation that permeated bad vibes throughout the building. None of what happened in 2023 is possible if Caserio hadn't FIRST corrected all those situations.
Either way, I'm glad to see the Texans finally getting some love from channels like yours and in the national spotlight as well. Welcome to all the bandwagon fans
100% agree. Im a Titans fan but I see how the GM started ALL of this. It really doesnt get talked about enough the job that he has done. Its right up there with what Roseman did in Philly. The work all finally bore fruit last year but there were tons of good players already on the roster that just needed a great coach and qb combo to unlock everything else (much like the NE years with BB and Brady). Here's to exciting division games for the next decade!
After putting up with Bill O’Brien you would cry too. He went out his way to mess up the team. Not to mention his crony Jack Easterby.
@@deontecallaway4026 Easterby was more of a problem than O'Brien. O'Brien was a good enough coach, but he was a terrible GM. Easterby was a cancer in the entire organization.
@@deontecallaway4026 I will never defend O'Brien or Easterby, those bozos set this franchise back years, no question. All I'm sayin is Watson sure didn't seem to mind when those same 2 bozos gave him a 4-year $180 million extension just a few months prior to him requesting a trade. That's what was so bizarre and baffling, how everything changed with him so drastically in such a short time
And dont forget Easterbee was still there.
As a texans fan, i agree yea stef diggs is cold but can we not address the rest of the key pieces we picked up?! Danielle Hunter?! Joe Mixon?! Azeez Al-Shaair?! Like come on this is lethal
Exactly you have to give your quarterback and defense that he can rely on
am i crazy ? bc azeez is probably my favorite signing😭
@@hoodienohoodie not at all
denico Autry was crazy underrated
I switched from the cowboys because of that. Dallas is gonna SUCK!
Thank You Lovie Smith for going for the win in the last game of the season, thinking he was hurting our draft chances knocking us from #1 to #2,We had to settle for CJ Stroud.SCOOOORREEE!
Nobody can tell me Lovie didn't win that game just out of spite for the organization and love for the Bears.
Bottom line is that CJ made the team fun to watch.
Fun? He made them competitive
hopefully this trade makes them better
I love my Texans, just goes to show that if you are loyal enough to your team and get through the dark times, it pays off
I seen my team when two Superbowl not always going to be winning forever..damn Giants
I’m a 49ers fan😭
Hopefully tons of playoff wins for the next decade. The future looks brighter than ever as long as Stroud continues to improve and the culture here is strong.
Colts fan here, hopefully we don't have to wait 20+ years :(
Loyalty is all that matters Texans up LFG🚀🔥🤘#TexansForLife
13-4 record prediction
Hmmmmm i agree honestly its about to gwt SCARY for the NFL
@@KrichProductions fr
@frostyvr Possibly 14-3
Hopefully better 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Idk bro we got a heavy schedule next season
The crazy thing is the Texans could’ve won more games this past year, but Fairbairn was injured, and they lost games they could’ve won because of missing field goals, and Stroud getting a concussion
Totally agree they could’ve easily been a 13 win team
And missing Tank Dell too.
@@Dondonden1234 oh yeah, I can’t believe I forgot about that, and what’s crazy is that I went to that game vs the broncos where he got hurt, can’t wait for him to be back and healthy and strong
@@thepoisonouspotato3631dude i follow him on insta and he honestly looks better than he did before the fracture
They could have lost more games as well
Texans are standing in business. Even Sketch is happy, brother.
facts brother!
@@KrichProductions speaking of Sketch, did you see him working out with Stroud, Tank, Metchie and Diggs?
@@JonathanMerlinSymmankhe got cooked😂😂
As a Houston native we been rebuilding since 2002
Huge fan of their team as a raiders fan just because they’ve mostly drafted their talent and with the trades they added just makes em even more dangerous baring any weird setbacks
I love what the Raiders are doing yall got one with the coach
To call the Hopkins trade "for beans and rice" is too nice. Bill Obrien traded him for breadcrumbs that fell on the floor in a trucker gas station restroom. STILL cant believe it.
Trade was INSANE
@@KrichProductions Once he did that, Bill basically got himself fired.
Hopkins was going to sit out without a new deal. The thing is, the Texans DID renegotiate Hopkins contract only 2 years prior to this. To say the Texans wouldn't renegotiate with Hopkins but did JJ Watt is BS. Hopkins basically demanded a raise or threatened strike every 2 years. To him, contracts were meaningless.
@@jeffreywillis4258They usually are when it's the team saying so. Shout out to Kirk who dont play that
@@jeffreywillis4258he's the reason we won any games tho
2:36 the fact that we swept the jags is utterly hilarious.
We didn't sweep the Jags! They beat us at home!
@@Texansfan-kq5ro 2020, we swept them with only getting 4 wins. In 2021, yes we did split. So out of 8 total wins, we beat the jags 3 times.
As a Cowboys fan. We might get demolished by the Texans this year but at least I get to see the Diggs Brothers unite this time. I’m hoping the battle of Texas will be a show
Thanksgiving?
The Texans have never beaten us in Dallas tho 👀
I've never understood why the Oilers and now Texans weren't in the same Division and Conference as the Cowboys. It's a natural rival that would stir interest Nationally and make $$ for the NFL.
Texans were sneaky good last year, now they are obvious good this year. They’ve made some great FA signings and trades. Denico Autry, Azeez Al Shaair, Joe Mixon, Danielle Hunter, Stefon Diggs. This team is gonna be SCARY!
GM Nick Caserio was a patriot when we had the dynasty. He is the MVP for Houston
We just gonna forget about the Bengals 3 years ago
Let’s Go Texans!!! Everything happens for a reason, Lovie Smith going for the win and Stroud coming to Houston, Thank God for all he has done, Cool video
I love you potato I always like your comments on astros wins. Best H-Town Fan
Texans are going to kick ass and take names with 12 wins Mabey

Bro your story telling is fantastic. Keep it up, you'll do great things on YT
Appreciate you man! Really been working on that part of my game!!
I'm not much of a football fan so it was interesting seeing this get recommended. But I live in a household where I've been around Texans merchandise and games for the last 24 years of my life. Thanks to my family (mainly my uncle and grandpa) being massive fans that have stuck by them for their lowest lows and their highest highs.
Thats so amazing! Hopefully you enjoyed the recap and cant wait for the season!!
I believe this is the season we finally break past the divisional round
Great vid bro !! You got a new subscriber.. Texans might go all the way !!
Coach Smith said... oh, y'all firing me!? Okay 😅😂
You play to win the game, we Love that man!
I know it seems like that from the outside, but as someone who has been with this team since day 1 this rebuild was not fast. The turnaround from 2022 to 2023 was, but the previous 3 years were straight pain.
I could see the Texans going either 12-5 or 13-4 if they catch a break or two in one of their games.
Totally agree
@@KrichProductionsmy dream came true bro I was an Ohio state and Texans fan I wanted the Texans to draft cj so bad and they did so 🤣 life is good
This was a great recap!! Good job.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Diggs Nico and Tank is terrifying
And they. Are young with that much talent and high picks then great trades and surprises like Tank Dell. On paper they just won the next 3 super-bowls lol. But just being in conversation and winning now it’s fun to watch.
Bout to be a fun year to be a texans fan
Lord I pray we make it to at least the AFC Championship game.
Bengals now texans crazy
If we stay healthy this is probably a 11 or 12 win team. I don't want to expect too much we have to play a lot of great teams
Let’s go!!! The Texans absolutely scraped up during the offseason. Made damn near every move possible to help the team grow. I can see Nico tank and diggs can each get atleast 10 tds a piece and let’s not forget Shultz too. Mixon. Come on. Let’s go Houston
"fastest rebuild in NFL history" they spent three years rebuilding before taking their QB
Ion think you understand what he’s saying bro
@@dwonpolk7509What year did the Watson trade happen? The Texans have been rebuilding since Nick got here. Stocked up on young talent and future draft picks and then it came together. If you're only looking at the record then you're not acknowledging the dirty work that had to get done before you could put a shine on things. CJ accelerated the process quicker than anyone could have imagined but last year's draft was a culmination of work that was years in the making. Shout out to Caserio, helluva GM.
@@ericparker163so let's go over the real rebuild. Your claiming Watson and the rest were the rebuild but they were set to be a contender every year with prime Watson... The rebuild started at rock bottom around the time period the video said. They got rid of everything good for a bag of chips and were left with no QB, no star wr other then a declining Brandon cooks and a unproven Michigan wr. They drafted now bridge QB Davis mills who did okay and then moved on after 2 season of hell no to CJ Stroud while making moves trading and getting draft capital. In the end the team was rock bottom after your claim. Texans only looked that bad on paper when they had David carr.
@@ericparker163 you got it you weirdos know everything
My Team! Nice vid. 12-5 Go Houston!
The fastest?! Shows how much you know about Texans football! We’ve endured long seasons to get to this point! The city deserves it, the fans deserve it, but most importantly the players and coaches deserve it!! 🤘 Texans up brother ☝️☝️!!!
that Deandre hopkins trade had me heated bro
ME TOO. I’M STILL MAD!😡
When that happened my son quit being a Texans fan. He came back after watching Stroud.

@@KrichProductions Thank you! The kind words mean a ton, I'm actually workin on a houston video right now, but it's gonna be more a detailed dive into the science of re-building and how houston benefited from it so quickly.
they won’t fall off this year, cj is a guy who if he ever dose bad that week the next day he always make sure to watch film and make sure it never happens again, and demarco ryan’s is a coach to help defense develop and offense
As a lifelong Houston sports fan, I approve this content, however, the reason for the turnaround is when the McNairs came to their senses and got rid of jack easterby, thereby clearing the way for Nick Caserio to rebuild the team. You've got idiots like stephen a smith making a racial thing out of the 2 firings, but bruh, honestly it was just business as usual. Remember, San Francisco did the same thing before they settled on Shanahan, but nobody batted an eye because they were white coaches. It's been a long hard road sitting through multiple losing seasons but it was well worth it 👌 Texans for life babeeeee!!!!!! 🤘
Facts. I checked out until easterby was gone. Thanks Hannah!
@dwil8621 yep, the rumor mill in town has it that Hannah had alot of input getting ol' jack up outta here
@@Highznberg yeah cuz Cal had purchased all of the evangelist's snake oil.

Im 47 year old man and have been with this franchise since the days of David Carr. Ill cry like a baby, tears of joy if we make it to the conference championship, much less the Superbowl.
Bro imagine jj watt still on the squad
Bro in the 2022 draft they got Christian Harris too who is a top 15 MLB
Great video man, keep up the good work! 12-5
Thanks! Will do!
dude forgot abt danielle hunter
Their incompetence gave them draft position, then they hired the right coach, got lucky that Carolina chose Bryce, because like Herbert, no one saw this in CJ, then they made a brilliant move in the double dip. They are in good hands 😀
Im a Seahawks fan but the Texans are really fun to watch. They'll be a 12 to 13 win team next year.
good work krich!
Hiring Nick Caserio was the greatest move they made he really did turn them around too bad the patriots didn’t take advantage of how intelligent he is
14-3 and a Super Bowl appearance. 🏈🏆🥇
14-3
One seed in the AFC west?!?!
@@KrichProductionsnot to be a guy who is addicted to correcting people but it’s actually the AFC South, just so you don’t think I mean it in a rude way
I wouldn't say it was quick as we sucked (big time) for all three seasons from 20-21 to the 22-23. It seems fast because getting those two rookies (Stroud and Anderson) and the right coach (Ryans) together allowed all the potential in all the prior drafted players to coalesce. But it was three years in the making. It just goes to show how important it is to have not just a decent QB and head coach, but great ones.
I love this video. I wish you would have mentioned how much the team suffered after Tank Dell got injured too. Which was a huge blow and cut down both CJs options and our ability to spread the field.
I think that was one of the main reasons they lost to the Ravens
Texans fans know this rebuild took 3-4 years, still not long considering what we have now but for the people who think it just happened over night it certainly did not. So much drama from O-Brien to Watson to Easterby, all the flak we took for winning against the Colts and dropping to pick #2 as well as "analysts" claiming the Will Anderson trade was detrimental for our future. I give so much credit to Nick Caserio for cleaning house relatively quickly while trying to keep the team somewhat competitive. Countless contract restructures, 1 year deals to boom or busts talents, and smart trades in an attempt to acquire futurr assets. Lovie Smith and David Culley were always gonna be short term coaches, we already knew DeMeco wanted to come home and once he did was when we really started taking the risks that created the team you see today!
Let’s go man! Love the vid . Don’t worry he will win mvp this year
As a Texans fan from Houston I’m so happy😊
🫡🥲
12-5
Gonna start slow since we got new players. Once they get into rhythm we gonna reck
1998 Rams were 4-12 and then went on to win the super bowl the following year and appear in another 2 years later.
LETS GOOOO TEXANS!!!!!🎉🎉🎉
As a Bears fan the Lovie Smith and the Texans will always have a special place in my heart for winning that season finale vs the colts LMAO
As of right now, there’s only gonna be 3-4s team in Houston Way, Baltimore, Kansas City, and Cincy
Texans will always be my favorite team win or loses I’m rock with them I’m coming to almost every home game next year 🔥🔥🔥
Great video for sure! Only thing. You left out was the Danielle hunter addition but scary season for the NFL next year :)
True i didnt even think about that!
Man its good to he a Texans fan..LETS GO!!
Ayeee
I’m so excited for this season
I'm a big Texans fan, so dont get me wrong here, but I'm pretty sure the Hershel Walker trade still takes the cake.
Prediction? 11-5 if Stroud stays healthy, and win the division. We got better, but the league also has more tape and we have a harder schedule, keep your predictions realistic.
Lastly, one bit you didn't cover. Caserio is the man, and deserves as much credit as the HC for the turnaround.
Exciting times to be a Texans fan
There was a lot of hype for B. Young that year, I'm glad the Texans didn't have the 1st pick cause there was so much pressure to draft Young 1st overall that year. Maybe the Panthers were pressed into getting Young, but that draft changed the trajectory of the Texans.
Awsome video man, i feel like nick caserio is such an important part of this rebuild.
Happy for Texans fans, they got a good team to be hyped for the future. Wish I could say the same with my Broncos…
Bo nix not the guy?!
@@KrichProductions I hope he is😭
I'm really looking forward to see how far both Houston and Detroit can make it over the next few seasons!
Detroit rebuild timeline should be out tomorrow or monday!!
Demico! Top tier coach!
FR
“Beans and rice” 😂 that’s foul 😂😂
Its the truth tho😂😂
Let’s Go!! 🤘🏽 Go Texans!
When we look at the 2022 3-13-1 Texans, they weren’t as bad of team as their record would have you think. Look at how many losses that season were by only one possession. That same dumpster fire team took the Chiefs to OT (the 2022 SB champs btw). Add a few key pieces in 2023 and Ofcourse the Texans turn it all around.
All these sports analysts talking down on the Texans for winning their last game in 2022 and giving up the 1st overall pick. I was glad we didn’t pick 1st overall, because there was going to be pressure to grab Bryce Young (which I believed to be a mistake in the making). Skip forward and the Texans select Stroud with the 2nd overall pick and the rest is history. After the draft I also predicted an 8+ win season. I definitely was not disappointed.
Thank you for taking the time to address the Texans. I’m gonna predict 11-6 but damn man idk. Love my city and team. We could go 13-4
The fastest rebuild ever??? As a Texans fan idk what your talking about this has been YEARS
They have a very tuff schedule this season
AFC South going to be so fun to watch this season!
i'm not a texans fan but i love cj stroud.
We went from Four Wins to winning the Super Bowl
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼 welcome to that H BABY I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS SEASON 🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯
They are going to have one of the toughest schedules this coming season, with that said they are my team and I believe they will go 14-3
Bengals went from 4 wins to the Super Bowl 🤦🏼♂️ it’s like everyone forgot (rams fan)
The Packers arguably had a faster “rebuild”: the next season after the departure of HOF QB they won 9 games and made it to the divisional round being the youngest team in NFL history, and were the first 7th seed to defeat a 2nd seed in playoffs. Texans rebuild is also exceptional!
Maybe a packers rebuild video in the works????👀👀👀
Bro that’s cool that they got Stefon Diggs
They look even better on paper after the draft
Prior to last season 2019 was there most recent winning season. You can phrase this as taking 4 years to rebuild or say that it took one. The more accurate answer is five years as a rebuild technically starts when you start losing.
good commentary
We’ve been rebuilding for 22 years. Might have it right for the 2024 season, let’s go Texans
I've taken the Wonderlic, and the S2 did really well too. I played football for all of 5 minutes. These test do not friggin matter. Can you ball or not? 😂😂😂😂
The sad truth was it took the owner dying for his son to actually start helping the team grow
1:25 *Arguably 1 of the Dumbest Trades in NFL History*
Packers rebuilt faster than Houston, they did it in 2 months
It took 21 years for the Texans to get to this point
“It was a franchise altering win” it sure was 😏
Texans vs Chiefs AFC Championship game confirmed
we'll see how this team holds up versus the other power-houses in their division, such as KC, Cincy and Bills...
Packers lost top 3 players (at their position) in the league in Tae, A Rod, and Bak and no one gave them a chance last season with being the youngest team in the league, having a relatively inexperienced offense, potential questions with Lafleur, and Jordan Love taking over as QB1.
Not tryna take anything away from the Texans, they're a phenomenal team, but I for sure can sure tell you that before the season 90% of people (including myself) probably thought this was the start of a rebuild in GB just as well. The youngest team ended up making the playoffs, smoking the Cowboys in Dallas (had been undefeated at home until then), giving the 9ers a run for their money, and now have tons of momentum after the draft, signing Jacobs, Mckinney, and finally getting a new DC.
If we're gonna jump as quick as to say the Texans turning it around the year after picking Stroud, Anderson, Tank, and other young guys turning up under a new staff then lets start to give the Packers that same type of love.
TL:DR: Packers completed a rebuild in a year.
