Percy priest is one of my local lakes and there are a bunch of tournaments won out of that creek. If you’ve never been on it and want to come fish it. BE CAREFUL! Make sure you have updated gps and don’t trust the channel markers. It’s a very diverse fishery. You can go up the the east and west fork of the stones river which turn into shallow creeks. The upper end of the river is typically stained and the further you go down lake towards the dam the more clear it gets. It can be tough but there are plenty of 20+ lb bags.
Man I love the videos. You explain how to break down lakes you haven't ever been to. I love that. Most guys are just willing to do lake's they are familiar with. Thanks for sharing the wealth of information!
YOU Nailed it, the fishing report picked the same locations as you. Thank you again sir, if your ever in this area I would love to take you out. Thanks again, truly professional.
Live the content. You help me alot. As a law enforcement officer practice is out the window before alot of tournaments so I watch your locating bass videos to help me. Thanks again
Big waters can be intimidating. Then after 26 minutes of me seeing you breakdown 3 lakes. The cmaps which you showed depths and mapping of the lakes.. First thing pops in my head is how deep. Seeing the different depths is a good 1st step..Especially if bank fishing! Imho... Thank you for the Quality of time you put towards your content. 1st time viewer. 👍 and subscriber
I appreciate your advice and how to break down a lake and your videos you teach us so much I’ve always heard it’s better to give than to receive and you give us so much good luck and God bless 🙏
I fish Cave Run quite a bit. It's actually a better Muskie lake than bass. You'll hook in to several muskie while bass fishing in the spring and fall. Your break down was spot on. That Big flat is the biggest community hole in the lake. Population of smallmouth isnt great but you can catch good ones when you find them. Small largemouth are plentiful but quality bass can be a struggle much of the time. Thanks Edwin for the videos. Helping us become better anglers one videos at a time.
You are one of our favorites. We really really enjoy your videos and the obvious passion you have for the sport. My wife and I live in Bull Shoals and fish the lower end at least once a week, year round. It would be very cool if you were to do a breakdown here. Thank you for all you do!
Gonna keep trying until you get around to Belton Lake in Texas. It's a booger to be consistent on but when it's just right you can load the boat on multiple species. Thank you for giving your time to us. We all appreciate it!
To echo Charles, love the way you explain the breakdown and details. I don't comment much, but these always help to provide insight from another source to help rationalize what I might be thinking.
Those flats on Cave Run lake definitely hold good bass and you are correct, there is a ton of grass in that area. I have fished that lake many times. Only about an hour away from Lexington. Spinnerbaits and red eye shad worked just over the top of the grass catch bass there. Zilpo is the campground where those flats are located. Great video Edwin!
Thanks so much going to help me a lot we vacation on table rock and it is 40 minutes from the house looking forward to fishing it Maybe fish this tournament you were talking about if my boat is back in operation in time Be blessed love the enthusiasm and energy helping others improve our fishing skills
I have learned a lot on how to break down a lake by following your channel. Thanks for the detailed approach and for the amount of time you invest in your presentation! I would like to see your break down of Lake Murray, SC.
This is great stuff Edwin. I'm a kayak fisherman and I do alot of tournaments on watts bar lake. This is going to be so handy where I wont have to paddle more than fish. I find a few great opportune spots, get there and hopefully bring in the win. Thanks alot for that great video. Tight lines brother.
Thanks you Edwin very much, on how to break down a lake.. my lake is Hyco lake in Senora Nc.. it's a powerplant lake.. the powerplant determines most of the lakes water temp.. know I c from your video how to breakdown the area around powerplant.. much much love.. God bless you..
We can always learn and even though you may not be talking about one of my local lakes here on the Westside I can take what your saying and apply it to the same stuff in my local lake. TY for the vids and keep them coming. Tight Lines
