Great videos!! You have always been one of my favorite pros to follow. Thanks for sharing your knowledge..Dont forget about us northern guys can you break down cayuga. Thanks E!!
Love your videos, great use full information. Google Earth segments were great. Could you break down Lake Murray SC. Nothing but local yahoos who don't want to share anything
As a new boat owner and always watching your videos on breaking down lakes it really helps in preparation for the changing seasons. I have been reviewing many different batteries to see which are the best to enhance electronic clarity and charge longevity. Optima always seems to be at the top of the list. Great stuff Edwin and always appreciate you content.
I am really liking these where to start videos. The way you show what you are talking about on the monitor screen rather than trying to describe it while you are out on the water is super helpful I have a lake for you to look at Cordell Hull near Carthage Tennessee from the dam up to say Indian Creek
Such a tough thing to do having never been to a lake. Google earth is amazing for seeing older images where the water could be down and structure can be seen that is normally underwater! Helped me recently take a 2nd place finish!!!
Everyone is pulling the docks out this weekend. Your tip on throwing the big worm on flats worked pretty good. That and a vibrating jig. Love these videos!
Being able to read and understand a map or Google Earth is a skill that everyone should try to improve. Gone are the days of driving up to pre-fish for a tournament with nothing or just a full pool picture of the lake that has been recopied who knows how many times. Even the electronics have informative maps of most lakes on them. You make it look so easy. Thanks for sharing your thought process, we can’t find that on any map!
I went out today at Lake Arlington and I’ll tell ya, they weren’t deep or offshore for me.. went up shallow and caught one but nothing off shore! I needed this!
Love watching these videos man. Kinda brings back some of the education of the old bassmasters coverage somehow. Thanks. Always wanted to get an optima. Never tried one. Maybe eventually! Keep on keepin on man.
One thing that I think would be super beneficial in these videos is if you would tell what time of day that you would fish the spots you pick out. Or maybe how, and when you would put these spots in a rotation. Great information as always, especially coming from one of the best anglers to ever play the game!
You present some of the most useful information on TH-cam!!!! Never realized how useful a tool like Google earth could be, even on small bodies of water. Would love a breakdown on Lake Arthur in Pa or Pymatuning on the Pa/Ohio border.
Used your advice from the August bait suggestions on my lake. Small mouth bite got hard…. Pulled out a spybait and first cast landed a 5 pounder - great advice
Another awesome video sir, and thank you optima for supporting Edwin and helping us little guys learn some great knowledge from an even greater legend.
It just amazes me how are you can break down the lake so well and so accurate. Not only that but the baits that you suggest are incredibly accurate. I’ve been fishing in a long time and learn so much from everything that you share with us. I’ve been down with several back surgeries and look forward to getting out on my boat in the next month and using all the tactics and dates that you have suggested. Thank you so much and God bless you for not holding back and sharing with us your secrets and Accurate decision making. Your friend Joe Mallozzi
Man your energy when you’re talking about the thing you love, it’s amazing I’m slowly trying to make it to the show myself, it definitely takes a pretty penny but you have to get through the rough to get to the good and even then you have to maintain that good, thanks for the tips and trips they’re really helpful!
September has always been a feast or famine time for me. This video has definately given me some ideas and more options to think about . Thanks Edwin. Have been really enjoying your channel.
Thanks Edwin. That was great and really made me think about spots on a few of my local lakes that I’m going to try this weekend. Places I don’t usually fish this time of year but are exactly what you are talking about.
This is awesome for me to watch because I am a college angler and have been doing it for a long time and this is exactly how I break down the lakes I am going to. gives me a lot of confidence to continue in the sport. the only thing is that I have never done a Tennessee river lake and I have a tournament there in the next few weeks. Excited about the new experience.
just got my first boat a little over a month ago. An old javelin 95. been really fun working on it with my dad and getting it running properly. Have really been enjoying the videos and hopefully this will help me find some fish this weekend. good luck at saint clair.
Been using you tips with Google maps, and they have helped a ton! In about a week gonna go to a new lake and go straight to where the creek runs in. Thank you!!
Man Edwin, I get so much out of your channel. Keep up the great work! And thanks for the Possum Kingdom breakdown. I just happen to have a tournament there this weekend. Great timing!
Thanks for taking the time to teach us weekend warriors how to catch more fish. There are gold nuggets in every video! My dad took me to Possum Kingdom for the first time in 1960.
Great stuff as always. I need to watch two or three times to get all the great information. Please keep up the great videos . Helping me so much thanks.
I learn something everytime I watch your videos, thank you! I've been struggling the last few outings, still enjoy every minute of being out there though!
I live in NE Ohio and almost all fishing content is Lake Erie fishing. I live 1.5 hours from Lake Erie and have many grassy lakes near me, so I fish the local lakes more than Erie. I would love for you to be able to do any of the lakes near me. Im sure it would help more people than just me. Portage Lakes..West Branch..Berlin Lake. This would make my day and def help the end of my fishing season. Appreciate all the great tips and knowledge you provide
Always look forward to your videos, especially this one because it’s tough out there! Saw you getting on the highway in Vinita headed to St. Clair! Go catch’em!
Great fishing season this year, you’re tearing it up! I live about 2 hours from lake shelbyville and will be using some of your tips in the video. Keep up the great work! Will be watching and following.
Thank you Edwin for what you do. I believe everyone learns something new each time you do a video. It's amazing how you can break down a lake so well. I would love to see a breakdown on Claytor lake and Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia. Thank you so much for what you do.
Went fishing Waconda Lake yesterday the bass was in about 2ft. Of water shad was in there cought them on spinnerbaits. Tried other things but this was the best thing for me. Thank you so much for all your information.
Great video Edwin! Though it's fun to hear about baits, it's way more important to learn more about how to find fish. The old saying... "you can't catch 'em if you can't find 'em" is true. These kind of videos are very helpful to me. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for taking the time to help teach us how to break down a lake with Google earth. Your tips are awesome. Thanks Optima batteries for sponsoring these videos.
Awesome content buddy. Definitely helps out a lot to see how you break down different bodies of water. I’d love to see you do a West Virginia lake, we get forgotten a lot over here haha.
Great video Edwin. The breakdown on the lakes are a terrific help. I'm up north and would love to see a breakdown on a free flowing natural river. The St Joseph river in lower Michigan would be great. I'll keep watching and learning from you. Thank you
As usual, great information and presentation. Love your videos and can’t wait to apply these tips with my grandson as he begins his second year fishing high school tournaments. Tight lines Edwin.

First time on here! Henleys silver lake in Washington State is where I been trying to catch some monsters. Getting nothing but smalls fish right now. Great video by the way! 💪
