Hi Edwin, thanks for breaking down the lakes. C-Maps made that pond dam really stand out!! Oh I like the Lowrance flasher on the shelf above your head! Keep up the videos!
Glad you are talking about fishing. The last two videos I watched that you posted started out by you protecting your nuts and it is that time of the month. Much needed relief. Thanks
Edwin, thank you for these lake break downs. Even though I probably won’t be able to fish them you are teaching me how to break down my own lakes. I would never have been able to do so without your where to start videos. 🎣🙏
These lake break downs are awesome. They have been a ton of help for me under standing. Melton Hill is a small but tough lake to fish in Eastern TN. I’d love to see your thoughts on it.
When it gets tough in September, I usually break out the waders and get out in the creeks. Smallies, spotted bass, and even the occasional musky. Love this time of year.
Thanks for the tips. Love the Where to Start videos. I would like to see your thoughts on Lake Cumberland in Ky for the month of October or even November. Thanks and Good luck with the last tournament of the year.
I would like you to check out Rodman Reservoir off of the Ocklawaha River. A lot of tournaments are fished there. In the 60's it was a heavy forest. Then they built a damn and flooded the area. Lots of timber in the lake. The also ran the Cross Florida Barge Canal into it. It is Between Salt Springs and Palatka in North central Florida. The old Ocklawaha river bed runs through the south side of the lake. The lake turns back into the Ocklawaha river at the west side of the lake. The dam and canal are on the east side of the lake. Normally very clear water. There is a small canal that runs off of the north side of lake. It is a beautiful lake. I fished there when I was young on the old Ocklawaha river before they dammed it and flooded it. It was a narrow river with many fresh water springs on it. I think you would enjoy yourself fishing there. Lots of nice bass and crappie. I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for taking the time to help us. Fishing has been my life. Love being on the water
Another Lake that you could break down.. Clear Lake Indiana.. Beautiful lake.. super clear water 20+ foot of visibility.. lots of Deep water.. and shallow flats.
Buckhorn is an outstanding lake and some big bags caught there. Lots of offshore places to fish especially the first roadbed you mentioned. Thanks for the content!! Give Buggs Island or Gaston a shot😁
E, these videos are fantastic! I can’t wait for this month to cool down the local waters a bit and wake our fish up. If you could go over Union Lake in NJ that would be awesome. I spend a lot of time looking at maps and pick a spot to try before going out. Mostly because I only have a trolling motor so it takes a long time trying to cover water at 3 mph. So I end up going to an area I think looks good and pick it apart the best I can. Sometimes it works, sometimes it makes for a long day! I would appreciate the help greatly.
Edwin, thanks so much for the breakdown of Buckhorn Lake in September. Yes, it is one of my favorite lakes in the Piedmont area of North Carolina. As you stated, lots of structures and weeds.
Mr. Evers you are spot on with Buckhorn Reservoir the first footing you showed was an old stick tobacco barn. The road bed beside it was the spot you put your boat in to fish what was considered the back part of the lake but since they built a new Dam it has more than doubled in size but the size doesn't seem to matter there are dome giants in this lake. I fished a derby and 28lbs and finished 4th because 34lbs won it. I glad you didn't break it down to much because you highlighted some good community spots thanks for the video and good luck next season
Edwin, thanks for doing these brake downs. I probably won’t fish any of these lake I am not the best large mouth fisherman But I am really good at catching Georgia spotted bass love your videos keep up the amazing work.
September is probably one of the toughest months for me. These videos always give me a different look on where to fish. Thanks for taking the time doing these videos.
Edwin I have finally found the best fishing info on YT. Your map breakdowns and all the other vids are excellent teaching. Thank you have learned more about bass fishing from you than I have in many years of searching. Keep up the great work. Thanks again
Love these videos. I fish an 1800 acre lake near Carbondale IL. Great catching lake, but we have 2D sonar only. If you ever do small bodies of water, this would be a Great Lake. A lot of grass and rip rap and lay downs. We can’t see things like under water creek channels, road beds ect. Great video. 👍
I always love your where to start and how you go about picking spots to start, and I agree that you can use these ideas on most any lake just look for the key things you talk about. Speaking of lakes how about Truman lake in Missouri, I hunted that area in the 70s before the core closed it off to no hunting, great work Edwin
Here in Michigan I fish with a group of people every other week. Your tips have helped me hang in there in the competition. Keep up the good work Edwin!
Google Earth, is the best tip that I've gotten in years. Part of my preparation for every fishing trip I take. Thank you for fantastic tips. E2 is my favorite utube video, look forward to every episode. Thank you.
Thank you Mr. E. for another great informal video. September is always rough for me on the TVA. That being said, I’d love to see you break down Wilson Lake in Alabama.
This is a great video.I live 10 mins from Buckhorn lake. There are some really big bass in the lake. The lake was about 900 acres give or take before it was expanded to 2100 acres. It filled up to full pool in one night during Hurricane Floyd in 1999.I don’t know if there is as much grass in the lake as there once was.
I've watched you for 30 yrs - you've made a living on isolated anything - I've learned so much from you - watching you on t.v. to now your you tube - thanks
Thanks for churning these out. They help me make up a game plan on several occasions. If you ever get a chance a video on Pine Creek lake in OK would be awesome!!!
Hey Edwin thanks for the review on Buckhorn. I have actually caught fish at a few of the places you pointed out and you even pointed out a new rock pile on that northern bank that I did not know about. Actually went today and caught a 3lber on the road bed throwing a pencil bait like you suggested. Thanks again and good luck during the remainder of the BPT season.
Another great month! Macatawa (mack-a-tah-wah - sorry couldnt help myself) is a tough tough fishery. There are some good ones in there but its usually a challenge! Buckhorn is a lake ive never heard of, but that looks like a fun day of fishing!
Edwin Joe Pool is my home lake I started on. Cool you picked it. Thank you for sharing your knowledge as Always! Good luck on last tournament of the year!
I am typically hunting this time of year, but my boys are getting into school bass fishing. I hadn’t put much thought into lack of oxygen this time of year. Thanks for the info and the very informative video. You are easy to listen to and I trust your opinion due mainly due to your consistency of high finishes in your career. Clutch E2 coming through.
Yes Sir September is always a tough month but its fixing to get good here real soon thanks again for the time you take to make these videos keep them coming
BIG thanks to OPTIMA for sponsorsing the Where to Start and it's always great to see my Home state of Michigan represented, congratulations to this months winner!
Mr. Evers, I love your videos. I am retired and try to fish on days that end in “y”. That being said, September is tough but I look at it as a challenge. Keep up your videos, great information. LOVE FISHING!!
October is a fun month to fish up here in Michigan. I would love to hear you breakdown Lake Skegemog! Its connected to Elk lake directly, and a whole bunch of others in a long chain. Focus on Elk/Skegemog would be fantastic! These are interesting lakes with lots of big smallmouth, we went last year in October and thought we were going to hammer them and ended up with a very tough 2 fish day. Your insights would be awesome since we will be making the trip again this year!
Hey Edwin, love the lake break downs I watch them every month there is something I feel I can apply to any lake I fish. It would be awesome if you could look at Green River lake in KY it’s undoubtedly the best lake in KY.
The bass fishing information you provide is interesting and very valuable tool. Your perspective is very helpful to all us bass addicts. I appreciate the giveaways!! Have a blessed day.
This type of video is awesome. Thank you for sharing your knowledge of breaking down lakes with Google earth. I am going to try this on one of my favorite Southern Wisconsin lakes…Lake Geneva. Such a fun lake to fish.
Great stuff as always Edwin. Love this series. Hope you finish the BPT strong. Would love to see a breakdown of lake Wedowee (RL Harris Dam) in Alabama, just north of Lake Martin.
Hello Edwin. Love your content man. Really informative and entertaining. I'd like to recommend a lake for you to break down. It's one of our local lakes. It's not a large lake and does not allow the use of gas motors so we have to use battery powered motors. It's called Blackhills Lake located in Boyd's Maryland. It's a Resevior. It has laydowns, grass and some rock ledges. It's highly pressured in the summer times. Some local clubs hold tournaments here. The lake has LMB, muskies, snakehead, panfish and carp. I would definitely like to see how you break this one down. Only 1 boat ramp.
Always enjoy these videos edwin im alwaysexplaining and showingmy son all these types of areas when we go fishing and teach him how and whatto thow in there andhow to use that bait to catch fish...thanks
Just trying to get through the dog days of summer is hard enough but with your insight and helpful tips on where to start on a lake it makes these tougher months a little more bearable. Tight Lines
Hey Edwin, thank you for your time and effort in sharing your knowledge with us. My 11 year old MLF pro-in-training asks me every month when your new videos are coming out. Much appreciated!
Moving in the back of the creeks and what you thought about the old way of thinking about it was the same way I thought about it too. that had me thinking about what you said. I live in Texas and fished many lakes and never thought about fishing this lake thanks for pointing it out to me buddy.
Great job, I'm glad you broke down Joe Pool. Planning on going camping and fishing there soon. Fished it one time when I was a kid as they just opened the lake back then.
Edwin, I make sure and try and watch these every month! Even though I am in Oklahoma, I can still take these tactics to the bodies of water that I fish and is effective! Thank you for all information you give out! Keep 'em coming!
These lake breakdowns really do help in more than just the body of water you’re covering! Would love to see Nimisila Reservoir or Portage Lakes in Ohio would be awesome to see! Keep it up man!
If you get time.. its not a big lake.. but it is a very pressured lake in NW Ohio.. called Nettle Lake. I been fishin it for 30+ years.. its tough.. and get lots of ski/ pleasure boaters. From 10am to 6pm
I really enjoy these. I am using info from one of your videos using Google Earth and how to find structure and add waypoints and load them on my Lowrance. Would love to see a video on the Mississippi river at LaCrosse!
Thanks for doing the Michigan lake. Am going north to fish in a couple weeks and will use everything you have done on northern lakes. These vids are the best. Thanks so much and good luck at Mille Lacs!! By the way your pond vids were awesome!
Agreed with others on learning how to breakdown lakes. I also love that you are taking lake's from different parts of the US. Being a northern guy, the faster I can learn/find fish helps greatly when the season is shorter compared to others. Thanks for all of the great info (this video and all of the previous ones)
This areas give me some ideas for my lake in September. I wish I knew how you work with Google Earth to get these past pictures. Thanks for all you do. Love me some Grand too.
Edwin thank you for all you do to help us out fishing .I would really like to see you do Raystown lake here in central Pa.Thanks again and may God bless you and your family also.
I fish the River Bank here in Virginia but still truly thank you for the valuable Lure Intel for the Season. I just got back into Fishing after 2 decades off so I’m fairly green to the new Tackle. Stay safe my Friend Semper Fidelis
Edwin please breakdown Lake Murray SC being a Blue Back Herring it would be interesting to hear your take on it. Enjoy watching how you breakdown lakes throughout the country. I really appreciate the time you take to be detailed in your reasons why you pick certain areas. Thanks again!
Hey Edwin, I would love to see you break down Glen Elder Lake( Waconda) in Kansas. That lake has always been tough to me. I think you fished there this past spring with my uncle, John Ingold. Thanks for this helpful content
Thanks for the awesome breakdowns again! I live in the PNW and have mostly natural lakes vs man-made reservoirs. Thus, Google Earth hasn't been much help for old photos w/ low water levels. I would love to see a breakdown of Lake Sammamish in WA.
Love all your videos, would like to see Old Hickory or Piercy Preist lake in tn. Really enjoy how you carry yourself and give glory to God. You Definitely deserve all your success. God bless.
Love the lake breakdowns. Would love to have you breakdown Lake Berryessa (California). I have a local club tournament there in November and December. Thanks.
Love your video's. Would love to see you give some pointers on spots for Cherokee Lake or Chicamuaga lake Tennessee for October (fall) and April (spring) fishing. Keep up the great educational video's. I have learned a lot from watching them and you have increased my ability to catch more and more fish year after year.
Great video!! if time permits, take a gander at Navajo Dam, NM. Highland reservoir. Interesting things like draw down early as we are going n the Colorado River system and we are sending water towards a lake Mead to help with the Southwest drought. -62 ft below full pool.
Thanks Mr. Evers you have made me such a better angler since ive started watching your videos. I appreciate you giving up all this juice. God Bless you and the family, keep up the great job were rooting for the 1st place W
I ALWAYS anxiously await the "Where to start" video every month. Probably my favorite fishing video series. Keep up the great work. Btw, would love a breakdown of Rough River Lake in central Ky.
Thank you that was very helpful. I’d like to see the Ozark triple. Beaver, Table Rock and Bull Shoals. I know they can fish very differently and it’s difficult to pick a favorite. Over
I’m so glad that you’re out here doing this still, it would be great to see you out here in SC. Shad lake and cranking, and looking for every opportunity to put some big fish in the boat. Any advice that you give I put it to the test. It’s been so hot here lately and looking forward to the cooler weather fishing.
Double E, it says that I actually won the rod and battery and I was contacted to send them shipping and freight costs and try to seND it to them and I’m getting conflicting information back. It’s just bogus and somebody trying to imitate your site and get us screwed over or was this legit?
Great work Edwin... I enjoy the breakdown of Buckhorn lake.. I may travel to Buckhorn and try this breakdown.. August held me in check but looking forward to the Fall to bounce back.. 😁🎣
Edwin, Thank you for doing these videos. I have recently moved to Lake Lanier in GA and I am learning to fish for bass. I have always enjoyed crappie fishing but have been away from fishing in general for quite a while and its great to wet a line again. Bass fishing is a bit slower and more difficult to be successful. I am investing in a kayak and I am looking forward to getting out there and using some of the newer technology to help me find the structure type areas that you are teaching me about. Thanks again, Dave Hemphill
I used to work right by Joe Pool lake but never was able to get out and fish it. I had a coworker who kayak fished it a lot though. I will definitely take note of this video in case I ever do head that way to fish.
Would love to see your thoughts on where to start for a Missouri/Arkansas highland lake! Love following your career, and how you’re a good example for younger anglers! Class act!
Hi Edwin, thanks for breaking down the lakes. C-Maps made that pond dam really stand out!! Oh I like the Lowrance flasher on the shelf above your head! Keep up the videos!
Lake jocassee or one of the Santee cooper lakes

Thanks for the awesome breakdowns again! I live in the PNW and have mostly natural lakes vs man-made reservoirs. Thus, Google Earth hasn't been much help for old photos w/ low water levels. I would love to see a breakdown of Lake Sammamish in WA.
Love all your videos, would like to see Old Hickory or Piercy Preist lake in tn. Really enjoy how you carry yourself and give glory to God. You Definitely deserve all your success. God bless.
Great video! These are my favorite videos you make. I would love to see you breakdown Lake Lanier.
Thanks once again for your time to help others be safe out there and best of luck
I ALWAYS anxiously await the "Where to start" video every month. Probably my favorite fishing video series. Keep up the great work.
Btw, would love a breakdown of Rough River Lake in central Ky.
Way to go, look forward to these videos each month, Thanks

I got the same message. I just report them. Some people are just sorry people. 😡
Barren River Lake in Kentucky. Break it down for a mid October fishing time frame. Thanks a lot man! Tight lines
You are a blessing! Thanks for sharing with us. What about BIG Lake George on the St. John's River?
Great work Edwin... I enjoy the breakdown of Buckhorn lake.. I may travel to Buckhorn and try this breakdown.. August held me in check but looking forward to the Fall to bounce back.. 😁🎣

Thanks for the juice sir! How about Elkhart Lake in Wisconsin! There are both small and largemouth in it!
Class act!
