    Thank you. What a silly narrowing toe box.

    Listen, I'm looking into trying out barefoot shoes and these are on sale. As someone who hates spending more than 80 bucks on shoes that I'll barely wear because I live in flip flops in Florida, I got excited with the price. Most barefoot shoes are pricey from what I've seen so far. Thank goodness I found this review, because i would have ordered these and been disappointed. Likely never trying barefoot shoes again and dealing with plantar fasciitis for the rest of my life.
    I'll bite the bullet and try the Primals I suppose.
    Thank you for this review!

    Bruh it can’t all be barefoot and if you don’t stand on concrete all day in 5mm outsole with a stack height of 9mm and 4mm isn’t a crazy high drop I’ve been trying out barefoot shoes and it’s been a game changer but I can’t stand in grass all day at my retail job

      Right. This has a 4mm drop which is still like a third of typical shoes. I actually want to try this because I'm in the process of transitioning and I can't find anything in the middle.

    Appreciate the review. Two comments- I'm sure you've noticed, but the head cut-off/camera angle is a bit weird. Also, I wouldn't wear these cause the "glitter" looks weird.
    Was wondering if you've heard of Naboso, if so, could you review some of their products. would love to hear what you have to say. Stay healthy Doc!

      I have heard of Naboso (the insoles) and I've been reading the research on these because I am curious too, that might be coming in the future. Also the head cutoff angle let's me read my notes undetected! Haha thanks for the input though I'm sure I'll come up with a better system at some point

    Thanks for your review! Do you think this shoe could be of any value as a transition shoe for someone with plantar fasciitis or just give them a miss? If so, do you have any recommendations? Thank you.

      It could be but there are better options. Altra has wide toe box and zero drop but still has a pretty thick midsole cushion, I recommend those alot of the time

      I think it could be. A 4 mm drop is much easier than going to zero starting from around 12mm which is what most athletic sneakers are.

    What do you think about the primal pursuit?

    • @DrHoulihan
      @DrHoulihan  ปีที่แล้ว

      According to their website the Primal Pursuit is supposed to be wider and more flexible than the Mesa which sounds like a significant improvement

      I have the Primal Pursuit. They're lower to the ground but still pretty stiff and not minimal. The toe box is wider than this one though. This one is probably the narrowest shoe Lems has produced.
