Storm HULK RULES is my number one too! I had the red & yellow LJN as a child, so this is the ultimatum realization of that figure. He’s on my night stand right now & stays there quite often.
I agree the Storm Collectibles are amazing I got 3 sets of the Storm Collectibles 80’s Hogan’s.

I with ya. Hulkamania was alive and well as a kid but the Ultimate Warrior was the MAN!
Great variety and nostalgia. I was a Hulkamaniac so this list definitely peaked my interest. BTW my favorite two wrestlers ever Roddy Piper and Bret Hart. Honestly I couldn't stand Jakks figures so they wouldn't be high on my list. The biceps were outrageously enormous to the point it restricted the range of motion and they were all the same size which was a deal breaker for me. Having Undertaker and Mysterio the same height was blasphemy of the highest order. However they did have the best articulation in wrestling figures of that time. I did love the 4" build n brawl line. Hasbro cartoony action feature figures weren't my thing as I wasn't into the cartoon action feature gimmick as a child. I did collect the rubber ljn's but I was spoiled by GI Joe articulation in the early 80s and so the LJN rubber guys spent many lonely nights stored away.

@@KylePeterson1980 is it possible to hand swap the defining moments Hulk Hogan with say some extra hands I have from other newer WWE figures. I didn’t want to forcefully pull to hard on the defining moments Hogan and have his hand break off.
@@incognito4354 You can you got to be gentle probably would not hurt to heat it up at some hot water. But the older figures are not made for hand swapping so you definitely have to be careful

You’re probably right about the third Hasbro Hulk Hogan. But bear hug Hogan was my first Hogan figure so he has a special place in my heart. He is good for the post match posing. And Hogan must pose

Awesome video. Never grew up with Hogan, Rock, or Austin so I'm more of a Technician Wrestler fan, but the Hogan figures look dope. Think Storm Regular Hogan wins for me, best articulation, pricey sure, but I buy pricey figures, Mattel Elite would be second, since I love my figures when they can move.

Do you usually go with the one to display and one to play mentality? Or do you pick and choose which ones you buy doubles on to open and keep mint on card? It’s always hard for me deciding which ones to open and which not, or when to buy two.

There’s been some great Hogan figures. The series one hasbro was the second wrestling figure after jake that I got when I was a kid. One of the Hogan figures that I didn’t get chance to get was the series 12 NWO Wolfpac Hogan which is unusual as they always make the Hollywood ones. Looking forward to the Hogan and RVD elites coming in the future

10) LJN Series 5 white & red the absolute best of the rubber LJN Hogans
9) Hasbro series 1 purely nostalgia.
8) Hasbro Talking Tough, its big and it talks.
7) Storm Collectibles Hollywood Hogan in w/ black boots. You already know why. The Ultimate lacks a lot.
6) Jakks Classic Superstars series 11. Loved Hogan's final real run and this figure nailed it.
5) Storm Collectibles in all white. I'm a huge fan of that early part of Hulkamania, the Eye of the Tiger era Hogan.
4) Jakks red & yellow Hogan that came with the foam Winged Eagle, pretty perfect depiction of that era of Hogan minus the skin tone.
3) Ringside exclusive American Made in the blue just a phenomenal figure
2) LJN 16 inch maybe its the nostalgia, as this was given to me at a very young age from previous owner, my uncle.
1) The latest Mattel from the Survivor Series line. I just think its perfect, my TrueFX turned out great those are always a case by case thing and thankfully mine isn't all weird and cross eyed.

I think I might be just slightly younger than you. Because my older siblings and cousins had the LJN Wrestling figures and I had the some as their hand-me-downs, and the Hasbro's. My older cousin had a bunch of Hasbros too. And we both had the Hasbro blue Wrestling Ring. And played together all the time.

It’s hard for me to do top 5’s or 10’s. I’ve only owned The Mattel figs now & the LJN/Bendies/Thumb Wrestlers then
As a kid playing with the hasbros I hated bear hug Hogan but as an adult collector I love it for how it looks on display. That is one of the only childhood hasbros that I have still in good condition due to the fact I don't think I ever played with it. Although unpopular opinion I would mainly play with the punching Hogan and was my favorite growing up. I actually didn't even know Hogan 3 existed until long after my playing days but I do agree with you now that Hogan 3 is the best Hogan hasbro.

I know you’re not a WCW Toybiz fan but I absolutely loved them. They are very nostalgic for me. I was a big WCW fan until the bitter end and those Toybiz figures were the last wrestling figures that I actually played with. The two Hogan’s on my list were two of my favorites from the whole line. And while I don’t have any of the Storm Hogan’s I agree with you that those figures captured Hogan the best. If they were more in scale with Mattel I probably would have broken down and paid the secondary market prices for them by now

I think that storm collectibles is the best figure but the eyes closed test is the series 1 Hasbro just because of childhood memories. I’m not sure why over the one you put higher, as the play ability makes sense, the open palm slam was actually pretty poor as you can’t make him punch ha. I think I just have a fond memory of having it bought for me or something deep in the brain. I’ve got the Mattel ultimate (yellow version) on pre-order so maybe that will score high. My only issue with the storm ones is I feel they are a little too easy to dismantle… that and the staining on the skin that happened on a lot of them that were left in box for too long.
