Mattel's first run of WWE Legends (2010-2012) didn't go exactly according to plan. They had just taken over the license in 2010, and the previous manufacturer of WWE figures had made nearly every classic wrestler under the sun for the previous 8 years with Classic Superstars. Mattel had a rough go of it trying to get collectors to move from their Classic Superstars to Elite Legends. Since then, they've found their footing.
What has been made in the WWE Legends line since 2010? What forgotten figures were cancelled and which made a surprise return? We'll cover this, the Defining Moments line, Legends return at Target in 2020, and everything planned through 2023 all in this video!!

It’s hard to believe the mettel line is still going
Man this gave me so much nostalgia… I wish I was older at the time I literally knew and told both my parents these figures would be worth so much down the line now look lol… I managed to get a few of the good ones but man. If I was my age around that time I’d have every legend but… as you get older you wish you were younger so I’m just gonna keep on enjoying the figs I do have now! Though I do plan on getting every Michaels since he’s my favorite I already have the rockers and most of his rare and older ones in just missing his defining moments and his dx ringside.
Wow! I just realized Mattel will be producing the WWE line as long as Jakks did by next year.
Sad Mattel hasn’t even came close to the amount of superstars jakks released ?

I got into the WWF Mattel line too late wish I was buying many, many years ago.
Love this channel so much, you do some great work. These videos are like cataloging my childhood. I grew up with the RA/DA lines and then later on the earlier mattel. I used to have the BCAs and the TTLs as well. I think I had some R3s as well but I dont really remember. Gotta say though this new technology is so crazy. Love watching my hobby evolve.

the ax in legends series four i never thought looked like him i always thought the body was to skinny and not to scale of the real ax
I really do wish they kept the legends line down to more of the older generation guys like pre 1995 I hate how they added these newer guys yes they are legends but I think legends series 1-6 had the perfect set of guys minus Eddie. But he is a legend. But the Von Erich’s hillbilly Jim that’s the people I want in legends but hopefully this line keeps on going we love it.
I just want any first time legend,But I agree I hope we see “The Natural” Butch Reed,The Killer Bees,Jos LeDuc and more people from that era. Also Victoria,Jacquline & Armando Alejandro Estrada have signed legends deal so I’m looking forward to those Elites!
